Wow! I have to say that this is the longest and most detailed movie reaction I've seen on here in the last two years. I've never seen one that's been over an hour. And you were even able to show MOST of the movie in it as well. That's amazing! Definitely one of the best movie trilogies ever. And if it makes you feel better - Tom Wilson (Biff) - was constantly making sure Lea was as comfortable as she could be in that car scene and in the cafeteria. He is a total sweetheart IRL - and was not comfortable at all doing those scenes - but wanted to make sure Lea was okay. They ALL did such an amazing job. Happy New Year from Ontario, Canada! :)

As cringe or socially unacceptable certain behavior is in our modern society, it's important to admit that there are people who still feel and act this way, and they need to be displayed and defeated in movies like this so we don't forget that they exist. The better the villain, the better the story, IMO. I get why some people wouldn't be able to watch rape scenes, etc. but even that can be done tastefully and get the point across ala Shawshank Redemption.

Rock music started in teh 50s and was always considere loud. Kids always play their music, all genres, too loud. At least now they have bluetooth etc.
The "too darn loud" comment is a joke because the guy with the megaphone is Huey Lewis, the lead singer of 'Huey Lewis and the News' - the group that released the song 'The Power of Love'. And you are correct that rock music was considered too loud by many adults back then.

@@TheHappyCryersReact I cracked up in the theater with hundreds at the Ronald Reagan Line AND the follow up:"who's his Vice President, Jerry Lewis?" Lewis was a well known comedian known for being out of control when in character...like Robin Williams or Jim Carrey was later.
That scene with Strickland grabbing Marty and insulting him was a reality in the 80s and 90s. In Jr. High I had a teacher who threatened kids who were being disruptive, he would bring them into this little room between the classroom and hallway that was about 5 feet x 8 feet push them against the wall and challenge them to a fight, as if one of us would be dumb enough to actually fight back and get suspended or arrested for it. He only did it to me once and my parents told me if he ever did it again that they would support whatever decision I made.
In 3rd grade (the 90s), I had a teacher grab me by the throat and shove me into a chair. Just the way it was.
In 7th grade I had a teacher lift me up my my neck, my feet were dangling, because I smarted off in class
Ah, the days. Mr. Trump, Jr. High, was known 4 the "Trump thump." If u got outta line he would drive his point home by thumping u hard on the sternum a couple of times. Don't remember if I was ever a recipient of one but I'm sure it hurt. Late '80's.
My first (of many) canings was in grade 1. In high school, the class teacher was allowed to cane you. We had one teacher that used to start the class by opening the long cupboard under the chalkboard, pulling out a half dozen canes. He would flex them one by one, then select one, placing it at the front of his desk and put the others away. After that, the class would start.
This movie just perfectly emphasizes the significance of having a bit of confidence in your life. It literally effects everything.

The way the teacher acted was normal in the 80's. My social studies teacher used to get so mad at kids goofing off that he would yell at them, call them out into the hall and yell some more, then break out the ping pong paddles to spank them. Different times, and we turned out just fine.
I’m English but lived in the US in my childhood & this came out during that time. It was amazing in theatres and I must have gone to see it 4 or 5 times it was so special 💛 Loved it, the story the effects, the soundtrack, everything! Always nostalgic to watch it again 😊

Someone else said it, but just to be sure y'all see - when you finish the second film, as SOON as the screen goes black and says "TO BE CONCLUDED".....STOP THE MOVIE. It IMMEDIATELY shows very spoilery footage from the third film, and I know y'all want to watch these as blind as possible, so I think you will enjoy it more if you dont know EXACTLY where it's going.

It (BTTF) is a movie I’ve seen (I couldn’t even count), plus on the big screen at least 5 times and you discover new things EVERY TIME.🙃
this is a myth. it does not spoil a single thing. it was nothing more thana movie trailer which is the same thing as if you watch one a month before it comes out. they simply put it out following the movie. it shows things that give you an idea of what the movie is about but does not give it away unile many trailers today

Fun background fact: in the beginning of the movie, Marty’s older brother David is dressed in a Burger King uniform, a job which in 1985 was associated with teenagers and poor families (still is, truth be told). In the new 1985, he wears a suit, works in an office, and reads Forbes magazine at the breakfast table. It’s not just George’s and Lorraine’s fortunes that have been enhanced, but everyone else’s in their family.
I love the little details in this movie. Like when Marty goes back in time he runs over a young pine tree. When he comes back, the sign at the mall changes from Twin Pines to Lone Pine Mall.

16:35: You are correct. For one thing, "we" (80s teenagers) did not have our own phone numbers (everything was a landline - no cellphones). So we were giving out our family's phone number. You didn't just give that to anyone.

Great reaction, this is such a brilliant series of films - the epitome of a timeless classic. This script is actually used to teach screenwriting, because everything is either setup, or payoff, or points to another part of the story in a meaningful way. This movie isn't held together by intense action sequences or impressive set pieces - it's all just characters and dialogue.
The story behind the development and making of this film is an interesting one, y'all should check out a video on it sometime once you finish the trilogy. There were a lot of rewrites, they actually filmed a ton of the movie with a different actor as Marty and it wasn't working at all....there was a lot of doubt that it would even be successful. The fact that it turned out to be one of the most iconic and beloved films of all time defied most of the expectation throughout its production.

I loved your thorough and insightful reaction to this film. It’s my favorite movie. I laughed at the laundry basket and clothesline comment. LOL. I am guilty. Once I was complaining to a co-worker about my knees being sore after painting my bathroom. While cutting in by the ceiling over the tub, I had the paint tray on the floor and had to squat down to load the brush, then without dripping the paint I had to precariously climb the step ladder I had in the tub, paint, climb back down, squat down to the floor to reload, climb back up etc. a dozen times or more. My lady co-worker said “why didn’t you just put some paint in a small container like a used butter tub and take it up the ladder with you?” I felt SO STUPID but I learned my lesson LOL!

Fun fact: when the Mom is telling the story and interrupts the Dad, his response is not annoyance. She asked him just exactly what he was doing up in the tree in front of her house, “what was it, George, _birdwatching_ ?” while giving him a sly eye. His response of “WHAT, Lorraine?! What?” wasn’t annoyance. He was remembering exactly what he had been doing up in that tree, and was caught out in the middle of the memory. Her tone suggests both that she knew exactly what he was doing in that tree, and that she had teased him with the question many times over the years. He, however, displayed embarrassment, rather than shared enjoyment over the memory.
The fact that Lorraine’s dad called Marty “>another one< of these damned kids” indicates that George was not the first “birdwatcher” to get caught falling out of the tree. Yet Lorraine still undressed in front of an open window, with the curtains undrawn. Despite being not-so-innocent, she was nonetheless naive about what the consequences could be of drawing that sort of male attention. Biff cures her of the delusion that she can display her body like that with zero adverse consequences. Not to put the blame on her, but there’s a reason why it’s inadvisable to hang out in a dark alley in the middle of the night in a bad part of town. Poking a tiger seems harmless -until it isn’t anymore.
Being a Peeping Tom was a lot less ill thought of back in the fifties, where teenagers had zero access to porn (seriously, you had to be over twenty-one even to buy racy magazines or pictures). It was just thought of as a normal, if pervy thing to do. And of course “nice” girls never encouraged them. Of course 😉
Great fun reaction guys. I watched this with my Dad one time. He was 16 in 1955 growing up in Southern CA and he said a lot of the scenarios though put to the extreme were spot on..😊

I'll never forget how my 5ft 6 dad, a WWII Navy Veteran, who rose to the rank of chief, stopped a 200 pound 6 ft teenager from catching a smaller guy in the neighborhood from catching him and beating him up...in 1964....I was 8 years old. He stood in the guy's way to stall him long enough for the kid to get to his house 4 doors down. The big goon said "get out of my way old man, tried to force his way past. Dad did some kind of military defense maneuver and sent him to the ground face down, foot on his neck. Dad said "You're not going not going anywhere unless you want me to call the cops." The kid was in total shock such a small man could take him down. Soon the neighbor across the street who was a younger Korean War Vet came over. They sent him on his way. The neighbor said "Damn, Paul, i've never seen a short guy take down a big guy like that before...nice goin'. " Paul says: "I've never seen that either, but I couldn't let him just start beating on that kid. The element of surprise worked well...actually I was surprised as hell too." They both the laughed. Neighbor said "Well, I'll never forget that as long as I live, wow! "Everytime I see that scene where Marty punches Biff's lights out and then later his teenaged dad does, I think of that day, lol.
In the beginning of the movie, Jennifer didn't give Marty her number - she gave him her grandmother's number because she said she'll be staying at her grandma's and she wants him to call. It's even sweeter. Loved your reaction.
My favorite trilogy! So glad you guys are doing it. And yes, it was the 80’s and a lot of things in the script of these movies wouldn’t be acceptable nowadays. Chris is right, the whole scene in the car was more to show the bad character of the bad guy than anything else. And it gave the chance for george to be brave since it was a serious situation.
Love how sensitive you are Daniela! Even talking about soulmates. I think this mirrors what people mean when they say the right person at the wrong time. Marty had to force them to get together because George wasn’t ready to go after her. The accident though, put George in the right time. Marty took that timing away from them and had to figure it out how to fix it.
Completely agree! With time, things always change - topics and opinions. While it was hard to watch I can understand why they tried to show how bad of a guy he was and that was the pressure point for George to finally step up. In the background of the opening shot is a newspaper article about how Doc Brown sold 137 prime acres (55.44 hectares) to developers (he needed the money for his time travel experiments). The house where he lives in 1985 is 1614 John F. Kennedy Drive, but in 1955, the main house has an address of 1640. By 1985, the house Doc lived in in 1955 had become the Burger King and nearby commercial lots.
1. Cranky principal Strickland/James Tolkan also played the ship's squadron leader in "Top Gun".
2. The teacher that tells Marty, "I'm afraid you're just too darn loud" is Huey Lewis himself. (Heart of rock and roll)
3. Eric Stoltz was first cast as Marty, but he didn't play well with others and was fired. Some of his long shots are still in the movie.
4. The flammable material set on fire with the model exercise had to have been put there on purpose.
5. It's always fun to see how people react to the Marty and his mom car scene. 🤣
6. George McFly/Crispin Glover didn't like that the story ended with the family being prosperous.
7. Twin Pines Mall becomes Lone Pine Mall when Marty takes one out when he goes back to 1955.
8. IMVHO part II is the best of the trifecta.
9. If you want a first time/share of an OUTSTANDING movie where Christopher Lloyd plays the heavy you must do "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

But you are right that the shift from the rock of the 50s to the hair bands and louder style of the 80s was irritating to parents. They didnt remember how their folks responded to Elvis and Chuck Berry.

The most slow paced and detailed reaction Ive ever seen, soo rare these days. I think most would put out a 20 min video about the whole movie.

That way you are just like me! I’m old-fashioned too and I think those times were better because people actually had to put effort in making a connection with someone, calling them, or asking them out for the first time. It felt like people were more alive if that makes sense? Yeah, like you said it seemed more valuable and wholesome! Handwritten letters are non-existent now and they were so precious back then.
Fun fact: When I met Daniela and after we started dating, I would write her letters and actually mail them to her house. She absolutely loved them and to this day she keeps them in a treasure box. It’s one of the things she says made her fall in love with me. It means way more than a text!

The part where the school talent show judge say "You're just too loud" is a tongue in cheek joke because he is the artist that made the song in real life, Huey Lewis.
I was 15 when I saw it in a cinema. It was the first time I went on my own to a big cinema and not the open ceiling screen we regularly watched, with a cousin, and I laughed my heart out. We aplauded, yelled and whistled so much at the end, everyone went out with a big smile (except my cousin, who was embarrassed because my behavior!). My daughter is 21 and she totally loves the trilogy. Its impact? I am here watching several of you reacting to a movie I know to the minute.
In the original version of the script , it was supposed to be a modified refrigerator that shot a beam of energy at people that caused them to travel in time,
but someone though it should be a mobile machine. The fridge idea was then moved over to the next in the series Indiana Jones movie - where they nuke a fake town.
There was a battle over choosing a the type of car - originally going after a Mustang. The delorean was chosen because of its gull wing door. At the front 3/4 angle, it looks look a spaceship's door opening.
Also it was much more serious/darker - there was a nuclear war they were trying to stop.
One thing to notice - - that ice covered effect on the car (as it returns from a trip) never happens again - in any of the rest of the movies

@@TheHappyCryersReact - oh, I forgot this ... the 2nd reason they moved away from the fridge idea - - - they didn't want little kids who saw the movie trying to imagine play with real tossed out fridges that may have been left on the street or alleys. - probably someone from their legal dept gave them the heads up on that to avoid a lawsuit.

I will point out something though I think you mentioned around the 47 minute mark or so on the video you mentioned of how people in the '50s would pay attention to the TV more instead of each other, well ironically nowadays people are using their cell phones or mobile phones/ Iphones more than ever..... and I did grow up in the 1980s , but when I go to a concert especially a rock concert or whatever we never had the technology today to just keep recording and taking photos....we would just pay attention to the moments and memories of the concert.

I saw it in the movies in 1985 when I was 7. I remember the whole movie theater going crazy at the end of the movie when the car suddenly rises up into the air and flies.
The actress playing Lorraine's mom was also the mom in "Gremlins."

As somebody who grew up through the 90s… I can comment that there was slashseem to be some kind of shift in adults being mad that kids were in public places…
There was an increase in “people under the age of 16 need to be supervised at all times“ sort of things in every place/venue… Which greatly killed Where kids can hang out…
I remember getting the police called on us when we were hanging out even in the park/playground… “We’ve got a call that people were saying some kids are possibly up to something”. Coupled with the 80s/90s hysteria about child abductions, teens getting into crime, aids in the sandbox etc. etc. etc. that also seem to drive kids to stay inside
And then we’re surprised the kids these days “don’t go outside” Anymore

i will also say. one line early in the film when Principle strickland said no mcfly ever amounted to anything in the history of hilll valley. marty saiid "yeah, well history is going to change" and sure enough. by him going back in time and making his dad have confidence, that came true
When Doc focuses on the failure of his mind reading device rather than on Marty’s revelation, he does so because he believes that Marty isn’t actually from the future, but is just making fun of him, as he is an eccentric inventor, and known as such to the local community. That’s why he declares, “I’ve had enough practical jokes for one night, ‘future boy’!” This has a callback in the third movie.
HILARIOUS STORY: There's a scene where 1955 Doc asks Marty who'll be president in 1985. Marty says "Ronald Reagan" and Doc humorously remarks "Ronald Regan! The actor?!" (And yes, Ronald Reagan was a big Hollywood actor back in the day before he became politician). And then he sarcastically carries on the punchline by mentioning other famous 50s actors (Jerry Lewis, Jane Wyman, Jack Benny) to become future politicians as well. When President Ronald Reagan saw that part during a premiere at the White House, he enjoyed and laughed at the scene so much that he actually asked the projectionist to REPLAY the scene one more time. 🤣😂😄

12:01 Fun fact, that guy in the glasses actually *wrote* the song they were playing, he was parodying himself. That man is Huey Luis of the band Huey Luis and The News. They actually wrote quite a bit of the music for this movie including 'Power Of Love' that played while Marty was riding his skateboard to school.
I saw this when I was 8 and my mind was just blown when I saw the car flying at the end. Funny thing is I remember laughing at my parents when they would talk about the stuff from the 50s. Now my kids laugh at me when I talk about the stuff from the 80s.
As someone who grew up in the 1950's, this movie hit so many nuances of the era back then as opposed to more recent times. This would be good to show to a class on Recent American History so as to be able to point these out and discuss each and every one of them.
From that viewpoint, I don't know if you have seen It's A Wonderful Life - if you haven't, would love to see your reaction to it. It is northing like Back To The Future except it gives a pretty authentic view from the (ordinary) people who experienced, between the end of WWI (1919) and the end of WWII (1946). There is what living through the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic was like, the Roaring Twenties, when everyone - and I mean everyone - danced the Charleston, the Depression, particularly bank runs, and the War from the viewpoint of the homefront. As it was made in '46, it will also push your viewing experience back decades.
Another must-see movie if you haven't seen it is the 1939 Wizard of Oz - great for a reaction on your channel to this classic. Going back further - Shirley Temple in Heidi (mid-1930's), and two silent movies from the 1920's. Both of these last ones are comedies, where due to the awkwardness of providing dialog, physical comedy is everything, to the extreme. The stunts were (mostly) performed by the actors and were literally death-defying in many cases. There is Buston Keaton in The General (great if you like railroads and/or the Civil War), and Harold Lloyd in Safety Last. This second one features one of the most iconic stunts of all time, with him hanging on the hands of a giant clock stories above main street. By the way, this scene is referenced not once but twice in Back To The Feature. One of the numerous clocks in the opening shot has a miniature Lloyd hanging on a clock hand, the clocktower scene at the end also has Doc Brown get into the same pose.
Another great thing about the 1920's movies is that they are in the public domain, so you can react to the entire movie without worrying about copyright. And they are also available for free on RUclips.
lol the super stressful scenes at the end? I saw this opening weekend. Imagine being in a theatre with 800 other people collectively stressing like that. The audience cheer when he made it was awesome.

BTTF took the 80's by storm when released. It's hard to overstate. Far more time has passed since the movie was released until today 1985 to 2023 or 38 years than the 30 years that Marty went back in time. The move itself is an 80's time capsule now.

You’re reacting to something they call “THE trilogy” … but you have to watch all three parts to have the full effect. These movies wrap up like no others I’ve seen. I’ll let you watch part 2, because I don’t want to spoil anything right now, then I’ll show you something very cute, something that shows why this is probably the best trilogy ever (remember, it is THE trilogy) and why people love it so much (hopefully you allow RUclips links in the comments). As for how huge this was, I think it is right next to Star Wars, maybe even sharing the first place.

George makes me think of the Kenny Rogers' song "Coward of the County". Everybody thought of Tommy, the main character in the song, as a wimp and a coward just because he never stood up for himself, but when his girlfriend, Becky, was assaulted by those three brothers, they found out just how much of a coward Tommy really was. It was the same with George. Everybody thought he was someone they could push around, but when Lorraine was in trouble, that's what forced him to say "Enough is enough!"
This was the GOAT movie trilogy until TLotR movies were made. They held their place for 25 years. If you call it action/comedy it still holds it.

Class of 85 here. Yes teachers and other adults would grab you, give you a swat with a paddle, etc,,, if you needed it. That's why most of the people i went to school with are very kind to each other (and others) and what's strange - in my Facebook i have some of my teachers on it. We talk all the time and have a great relationship almost 40 years later!
My daughter is the same way with a few of her teachers. She used to babysit for 1 of them.

@@TheHappyCryersReact they kept us all in line. No one pulled anything on anyone. Even the bus stops were off limits. If they did try anything and we seen a teacher walking with that big ol paddle - we would all hold our breath to see who they'd call out into the hallway. Then we would feel bad for them because they would have to come back and sit in those hard chairs.
Oh i can tell you some strange stories from back then that would never be allowed today.

@TheHappyCryersReact you're very welcome ♥️ too many people don't understand how times were back then. We listened to authority or they would drive us straight to our parents and they would all get on our butts! Lol (i have a lot of friends that it happened to)
Another thing that's surprising to people is a lot of our students (a lot of them in sports) drove tricks to school with gun racks - and they were loaded. If a policeman drive by and seen them - they would come back and talk to the students about where they would go hunting, the weapon itself, all sorts of things. Couldn't do that now if anyone tried.
I miss the 80s. Everyone was so relaxed and things were just so much different. Today's horrible when i think back to those times. Wished more was recorded so today's generation could maybe learn from it.

I have seen this movie and various reactors to it probably 100 times. I have to say I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed watching this with you two. I honestly thought the constant pausing and discussing would bother me, but it was far from it. I'm surprised, but I really enjoyed that. You've found yourself a new sub because I can't WAIT to see what others you'll do.
As for Marty's father in the beginning seemingly annoyed by his wife's story, I took it as embarrassment. Don't forget, she said about him being up in the tree, "what was it, George, birdwatching?" yet remember, he was actually peeping on her getting dressed.
You know what? We honestly love this comment!! We’re SO happy that even though you had reservations in the beginning, you still gave us a chance and then ended up enjoying it! We want to give our viewers more than just a few facial expressions for a reaction. We’re wanting to experience this movie with you and the discussions enriches the movie more (at least to us)! Fun fact: the guy with the megaphone that said "your just to darn loud" in the singer of Huey Louis And The News. The band that sings "The Power Of Love" theme song from the movie.
The DeLorean taking off and flying into the future at the end seems like an intentional set-up for a planned sequel, but it actually wasn't. There was no plan for a Part 2 at the time, it was only meant to be a fun gag to end the movie with. Scriptwriter Bob Gale says that if they actually had a sequel in mind from the start, he would not have included Jennifer getting into the DeLorean with Doc and Marty at the end of this movie. Her presence became a major hurdle when Gale sat down to write the script for the next one, and you'll notice when you watch Part 2 that the story kinda has to find ways to work around her presence.

1:02:20 I think another factor is this was before the gangs, like motorcycle gangs, from the 60s and 70s when they started making trouble when they gathered. It was after the gang problems that towns and cities began to implement new laws for loitering. I watch a variety of things. One is a show that follows multiple police departments around and films them live as they do their jobs (sometimes badly) and one of the quickest ways to draw the attention of police is to gather a group in an area. This was expressed in S.C. where an officer pulled up and saw like 10 people hanging out in a motel parking lot. They didn't see anything illegal, but immediately suspected they were doing/buying/selling drugs. They couldn't find any evidence of that, but dispersed them anyway with a threat of arrest for loitering, which is against the law in that city. I believe that is a pretty standard law on the books of pretty much every town, city and state nowadays.
This is a perfect movie... and... this is the best reaction! I loved your commentary. I hope you watch the other two movies to complete this perfect trilogy! 😎

We took our kids to see this movie at the theatre, and our oldest girls were teenagers. Our 15 year old had a mad crush on Michael J. Fox from the television show. This was such a fun reaction!

People don't hang out as much outside of the home because "third places" (places that aren't home or work) have been dying off for some time. There are very few places left where you can just go sit and hang out without spending an arm and a leg, especially if you're doing it every day
We weren't allowed to watch tv during family dinner time when I was a kid in the 60's and 70's unless it was a special occassion..then the tv trays came out.

And you said it, they didn't say anything, but what is spoiled if you can tell me I'd love to know. You see a hat fly off docs head, you see horses dragging the car. Nothing is spoiled.

SPOILER ALERT:
It shows clips from the 3rd film. It shows that Marty goes back to the old west. It shows scenes from when he's in the west. Those are all things they don't want to see.
The first nuclear power plant opened in 1954 in Russia, and only produced 30 megawatts, or about one-fortieth the power needed by the flux capacitor. America wouldn’t have a nuclear power plant until mid-1956, which would produce 60 MW, or 4.958 percent of the power needed to travel through time.
Fun fact: the largest coal power plant in America in 1955, the Kingston plant, went fully online on November 12, 1955, the very same night the lightning struck the clock tower. But even that power plant only produces 1.398 gigawatts, so Marty was still screwed, unless they used the lightning bolt.
1:15:15: If they had made that scene weaker, it would not have worked. Assault was not uncommon in movies from that era and it was certainly not in real life in the 1950s. No one was bothered by it in 1985. It was not controversial. Many movies, such as Once Upon a Time in America (1984) went all the way in that regard. And if what you saw here bothered you, certainly do not see A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrick. It may be an all-time classic, but you will find it VERY disturbing.
Absolute classic movie and often cited as "the perfect script". Not a second or line is wasted in this film. Everything serves the story, with so MANY setups and payoffs. The cast were perfect. Especially Tom Wilson, who played Biff the bully. In real life he is the nicest you could meet. During the filming of him "assaulting" Lorraine in the car, he would apologize to Lea Thompson every take they did. Lea was totally fine with it, telling him they were just acting.

Sadly, Tom Wilson’s portrayal of Biff was so good that viewers thought that he was like that in real life, and he got tons of hate mail for his portrayal. @@TheHappyCryersReact

A lot of reactors miss the inside joke of Huey Lewis being in the movie, but thsts just a generational thing. Same with Doc scoffing at Reagan, an actor in the 50s, would become President.

onto the music. The real irony/joke about the comment "you are just to load" was made in the movie by Huey Lewis who is the actual creator of the song. The band that he was the front mad for was "Huey Lewis and the News "
Fun Fact: the school dance organizer who said Marty was too loud. Is actually Huey Lewis, the lead singer of the News and he is the one who sings power of love in the beginning of the film.
Marty's Mom suffers from The Florence Nightingale effect it is a trope where a caregiver falls in love with their patient, even if very little communication or contact takes place outside of basic care. Feelings may fade once the patient is no longer in need of care. it is not just that she feels sorry for him because her dad hit him with the car, she would have fallen in love with anyone who her dad hits with the car, because George was pushed out of the way Marty was hit and not George, Lorraine falls in love with her patient

One of my favorite movies. Another movie reaction suggestion for you is another one of my favorites, The Final Countdown (1980) The U.S.S. Nimitz goes back to December 6th, 1941. It's filmed on the Nimitz. It's like Top Gun meets Back to the Future.
I remember in 1992 my mom had the smaller video camera that took the smaller tapes. Marty's camera takes actual vhs tapes. I used it to make stop and go claymation videos. You can't do that with these modern cell phones but I wonder if it's possible with the modern straight cameras.

"Make like a tree and get out of here." doesn't make sense because the saying actually goes "Make like a tree and leave." It's a quirk of Biff's; always getting sayings wrong. In the sequel, he also uses "That's about as funny as a screen-door on a battleship." when it's supposed to be "That's about as funny as a screen-door on a submarine."

Hey guys new sub here I loved your reaction but I would recommend watching the movie without as many pauses to receive the more appropriate experience. Your analysis is good and valid but it's usually wrapped up in the next line of the movie. When we watched in the movie theater we weren't able to pause it.... Keep up the good work guys!
