  • First off, sorry for the clumsy footage entering the complex. My GoPro mount broke as I was setting it up so I had to improvise.
For our annual Christmas visit to Silver Dollar City, I decided to do something a little different this year and rented a cabin at a nearby resort. We had a great time over our 3 days. StoneBridge's location is perfect for easy access to Silver Dollar City, and the complex is very well kept. We rented through Branson Vacation Rentals, a local property management company that I'd recommend based on this experience - www.bransonvacationcabins.com/

The HDMI cable, programming code for door, labels on all light switches, etc. gives me the impression that the management company has a very good idea what lodgers need when they stay in a hotel which I really appreciate.

After your Christmas stay in this rental what was your conclusion?
Branson is probably one of the nicest family friendly vacation areas in the country.

I agree with the pillows and bathroom sink. With how sloppy the pillows were placed, it did kind of look gross. But that place looked pretty good aside from those minor hiccups.

I'm gonna assume this home was built in 2004 by the looks of it.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this place went with the cheapest possible air conditioning unit they could possibly find, so it’s basically simple to operate at the cost of reliability so that’s probably why it would fail if the thermostat was set lower than 70 degrees.

I'd disagree. The problem is probably related to the extended run time in the summer causing freeze up and not an actual failure.
