I haven't watch the whole video, but already got a question: why paintinh the armor in grey knights steel if then you are going to layer on top Iron hands steel? Does the result look like a more grey silver but with a bit of a blue hue due to the undercoat of grey knights steel?
I think he was trying to make the grey knights steel and undertone but blue under the iron hands steel but went too far. Think it would work fine if iron hands steel was put on alot more thinly like in his other video.
I had the same thought. It looked great with the Grey Knights Steel with the contrast paint over it. I think I'll skip the iron hands steel and just do a dry brush of Grey Knights Steel to knock back the contrast paint, then edge highlight with Stormhost Silver.
This is awesome! Watched every minute. Really appreciate the pace you make these videos. One thing I would have loved to seen is some grimy oil on the mechanical parts, to separate them from the rest of the silver/grey. Would have also been nice to see some battle damage added to the armour sections but I understand that would have been very time consuming. Regardless a great paint job & very inspiring!
thanks for the help, but after painting several I've realised you don't need temple guard, stormhost silver, corax white, fyreslayer flesh, white scar, evil sunz scarlett, dawnstone, canoptek alloy, screaming skull, fire dragon bright
I tried to repeat this painting, and the iron hands steel paint after painting hides everything underneath, except for the recesses, where there are still blue. so why then paint the flat spots in grey knights steel? Maybe I dont understand something? Please help)
Hey! Big fan of your painting skills and tutorials. Can you please consider doing Nighthaunt painting tutorials? There many of us ghost players here :) Best!
Soo amazing, can't wait to paint my patrol box! Are you planning on making a terminator video also, or are they too similar to the regular grey knights marines when it comes to the paintscheme?
Thanks!

Thank you so much looks incredible! A model this glorious will of course be my grandmaster!

The patience you must have to do all this (with all that silver) using a brush is quite amazing lol
You're the best! Thank you so much for making this!
