Thanks! Honestly, those door panels are the (presumably) original ones, re-wrapped with fake leather. Look good from a distance, but when you see them up close they are really rough. I will replace them some time in the future, probably order some from LMCtruck.com!

Truck missing splash guards under cab, helps it from rusting.

Do you have more information on this, like a part number or schematic that shows the part you are talking about? Thanks for watching!

Good day from canada... did you do a video on the topic of your carpet install?

Hello there! I did not (yet).. but I did pull out the old carpet that was in the truck in this video. It was all custom made, made up of lots of small pieces all glued to the bottom of the cab. After pulling it out it revealed quite a bit of rust, so I’m preparing to fix that first in the coming months. After that I will probably put in a new molded carpet set from LMC. Stay tuned for that, and thank you for watching!

Is that a custom carpet or did you order it from somewhere? Looks really nice!

It’s a custom carpet, and it did look great! Until I decided to install some sound deadening and ripped it all out.. it was made up of a lot of small pieces, all glued on the cab floor.. safe to say that’s not going to be reused, lol. I’ll probably use a molded carpet set when I patch up some rust holes and have the sound deadening installed.

@@WrenchAtHome Maybe you can help me out with a question I have? Mine is an '80 Sierra Classic with a new crate Chevy Small Block 350 / 5.7. Since this isn't the original motor, I'm having a hard time finding the correct replacement power steering pump. Any tips/ideas?

@@PeterStuartJr I have a 350 5.7 in my truck as well, and although I believe it’s not the original engine, it is an old one (1970 block). I don’t have any experience with the power steering pump as mine still works fine so I’m afraid I can’t help you there, but have you tried Rockauto.com? That’s where I get my engine parts most of the time..
