In this case the Eagle was actually to cover up some defects in the hood paintwork so they wouldn't have to redo the whole panel

They always just have to put a dumb decal on the vehicles, I mean they do a good job but why can’t it just be one solid colour

i dont know if they showed it but they werent going to put the eagle on the hood. the reason they did was to cover a paint imperfection/error because they did not want to redo the paint job (according to the show for whatever thats worth

Nice truck!!!! My old man had a 69 when i was a kid.... 3 on the tree with a 6 cylinder.... but these Canadian winters were far too much for it....
My father had a 69 long box with a factory 307 engine with a automatic .i always love that era of trucks so i bought a 1970 gmc shortbox built a 383 stoker with a muncie 4 speed 373 posi rearend i still have it stored away

1973 and later just wasnt the same, 50's and 60's definitely was a better time period than the 70's.

I got an 86 i- rocz28, a 72 hemi cuda a 69 c 10 stepside and a vr4 3000 gt all low miles less than 80 thousand miles and a magna muscle bike & gs650 g superbike black and crome and a 46 indian and 3 harleys so this is my favorite car show wish i worked there

Currently restoring my 69’ C-10... love these trucks. Mine is chopped.
If I may suggest use Azek or Trex for the wood in the bed. It will not weather and there are dozens of colors and real wood grain looks. You will find them at more specialized lumber yards vs Home Depot.

Counting cars I've been trying to find the episode where you restored a 1970 chevy c10 fleetside. A guy had it done for his son. It was black and I believe had white bench seat. Absolutely my dream vehicle. Someday.

My dad had a red one of these. His first car in the states. But sadly got stolen and ripped apart. Every since then my dad has not bought another project car.

My sympathies man. Had the same issue with the best car I ever owned. Just a 95 Saturn S-Series, but it was reliable, comfortable, and I loved it. Then some punks stole it and ripped it to shreds.
They got caught though, and last I heard are still doing their time in Folsom. Serves them right.
Ok we almost got it finished its looking great. Last thing to do give it a a few Ed Hardy and tap out decals and a forehead bandanna painted on the hood. Aaand perfect

I just got 2 toy cars from lowes a 1957 Chevy C1 white with red and a 1957 Bell Air sports Coupe black with gray. To bad they are not the real cars.
It would be funny if the guy bought the truck, and then just started using it for work.
Right now it's backed up to a house with 5 guys on the roof tossing shingles down into the bed
