You find the best people, and the best vehicles. I am amazed at the detailing in this C10. Love how the owner throws the truck around like it’s no big deal.
Me and my dad had a 67 half ton chevy, it was powder baby blue and we used this truck for going around and picking up aluminum cans every Saturday and Sunday morning. For years we did this, then we was talking one day about getting into drag racing and I said let's use ole blue ! My dad was a gear head and he paused for a second and looked at me and said, (You know that little 283 and muncie 3 speed on the floor ain't gonna get ole blue down the track fast enough. We both looked at each other and laughed. Good tymes ! Miss you pop.
AS impressive as that truck is with all the work that's gone into it........I find that the ride quality is remarkable and something most guys don't ever quite get right. This guy's got it right along with the hook-up.....impressive!
Really high quality build. I love the subtle front spoiler. Owner is obviously very knowledgeable and is definitely a cool guy not afraid to lean on his truck. Really well done!!
This is absolutely one of the best c10 I have ever seen, I have a 72 stepside myself and this has really inspired me. I am in the process of building mine at the present time. Thanks so much you guys. Love the show.
What a great build.......I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfect stance, great wheel/tire combo, evil sounding engine and really dig the two tone paint. Nice, clean and simple........doesn’t get much better.
Ya know you got a good channel here when I got hundreds of channels on the tv and I shut the tv off to watch this. Oh and I was into the 2nd gear grab at beginning of this. Sweet truck.
The part that he mentions that, the brand, chevy, took so much time to get the product (calipers) right to work is enough reason to use;dam right. Those calipers work as much as brembo, willwood or other brand...
Shawn, this is quite possibly the nicest C10 on the net. Projects like this always evolve. As do all of the vehicles on AutotopiaLA. New vid sometime soon perhaps?
NOW that's how you build a truck for the street ,I love the pro touring set up . And the 6 speed is awesome, this truck is so cool and just plain wicked
What the truck?!? Jeeez, wild thing this... Sounds wicked, goes like da bomb, any gear you just hit it and it slams you hey... Chris did a perfect job setting this up, understated, solid build. Veeery nice 👍🏻
AutotopiaLA haha damn right he can! Got sideways as soon as he turned the ignition. Also, you guys definitely kept me goin through lockdown while all these car meets are nonexistent. Hope all is well; and keep killin it with the content!
When automotive engineers put their time & effort into a car build you know it's going to be something special. This truck is remarkable from top to bottom. This man is a master of his craft! He put the 10 in C10!
@@chrischandler5914 The man himself! You're very welcome. I find myself looking at this video atleast two or three times a month. If AutotopiaLA had a yearly award show, this C10 takes the crown every time.
Chris is the kind of guy that figures out the 2 extremes to everything and balances them out as close to center as possible while maintaining the cool factor and prestigeness of a custom build. Hardcore on one side, composed and smooth on the other. If 2 parts go in 1 place, 1 of those parts is going to be fully radical, and the other part would be as smooth as melting butter-giving you 2 extremes working in synergy.
This is my favorite vehicle on your channel! What a magnificent, fun truck! And, as a detailer, extra kudos to Mr. Chandler for having the paint sorted before coming to your shoot. That finish is nothing short of delicious.
That's got to be the best sounding truck I have heard so far he has figured out how to make that exhaust work as well as the truck make it handle that is sharp
What a wonderful BUILD and with stick! I love the side pipes, rims, front spoiler lip. Last but not least the majestic interior. I imagined myself cruising on this nice Californian freeway at late night windows open listening to the music of the engine flowing through out of these side pipes. You can have a million dollar, but if you don’t have taste and passion, it will turn to a miserable build. My deepest respect for the builder. Thank you Shawn for your precious videos and people.
A very well engineered machine indeed. I like how it can let the rears loose for some fun but when you want to get serious, it hooks up at just the right time. I love that it has a lot of small details and could fool some into thinking it's stock. I really admire this approach and I respect how much he's thought about everything. Nothing but admiration for such attention to the engineering here. Two big thumbs up from me.
This C10 is one awesome eye catching powerhouse, that LS3 is screaming and I love the sound of that cam! The Corvette brakes used on this truck are an excellent touch and work well! Thanks!
What a badass truck!! I didn't realize all that was going on under the truck with the frame and suspension! I get it now knowing that Chris is an engineer and used that knowledge to make things even better in terms of handling. Great job Chris on the build! Awesome ride!!👍👍

This is beautiful. Truly. Love it. Beast.
Literally as clean as a hot wheels car. Unbelievable awesome truck.
Great comment
I bet the price is also unbelievable. There’s a lot of people out there that can afford it unfortunately I’m not one of them 😔
💯
I love how this C10 is done. No air bags. Guy engineered the F out of it. Drives it like he stole it. And omg that chop sounds sooooo good.
You find the best people, and the best vehicles. I am amazed at the detailing in this C10. Love how the owner throws the truck around like it’s no big deal.
Hi Brown how are you
I've seen AND built many C10's over the last 25yrs or so and honestly this is one of the cleanest and nicest in a long time.
Thank you
Beautiful truck. "Understated" is a perfect description.
I love how excited you got by his driving skills. That's me all day. Anybody can build a fast truck. Not everybody can drive one.

Just reading the comments - they all want one !!!! Me Too !!!!!! Nothing left to say except its Black n White !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a killer build and really cool, smart guy
Im with this guy on using factory parts as much as possible every one does the norm and calls out a list of catalog parts makers these days.
Agreed, pretty smart guys at the OE level.

Look Like a simple old C10, But under the beautiful body Ther is a Racing Car. I Love it!
Unreal. So clean and perfect in every way
Yeah, he built such a great C10!
Woooo that exhaust tone 😍👌🔥🔥 Two-toned Tasmanian devil right there
