The quality on these LMC ones ain't good. The seams are splitting after 2 years, and the color has faded from the sun. I'd say just pay your local upholstery shop.

Use a wet towel and a hot iron to shrink out the wrinkles. Lay down the wet towel on the wrinkles and put the hot iron on the towel and steam out the wrinkles. It shrinks it right up tight. That's how we used to do it, when needed, at Jay's Auto Upholstery Shop in Pomona, CA.

These seats need about an inch off each side and likely front to back, then it would actually tighten up, steam all you want it will help light wrinkles but not loose upholstery, they copied a stretched pattern without compensating, he was prepared for a good fit with the garbage bags but well you see what happened.

I always put new seat vinyl in the sun, usually sitting on my black car roof absorbing lots of heat, and loosening the vinyl. The plastic does work great on the tighter skins on seat backs. Also, after hog ringing the skins on your new seats, I let the completed set sit out in the hot sun for an hour or so, so that vinyl can relax and take a set to its new shape and form. It prevents tearing of the vinyl

i'm currently installing the LMC seat covers on my square body bench seat and i will say the covers are of good quality and the replacement seat pad LMC sells is great quality too. however, the Hog ring pliers (and hog rings) that they include in the kit are TRASH. there is a reason Kevin is not using them in this video and using a higher quality set of hog ring pliers. i struggled through the seat back cover install with the hog rings because of the crummy pliers and cheap hog rings and i have a better set of pliers and better hog rings on the way for when i do the seat bottom.
ALSO to note a factory bench seat will have plastic trim pieces on the seat bottom where the seat belts come through to protect the seat cover, and the replacement seat cover is not designed for that. instead they have a pleather patch sown over were the seat belts come through with a little flap, which took a fair bit of trimming on the seat cover to get the factory plastic pieces to fit correctly
ALSO if any of your small springs on the seat bottom are broken LMC DOES NOT sell those springs or the wire if any of those are broken (no clue why) you can find the small springs on Ebay and you can replace any broken wires with mechanics wire

I've been doing upholstery for years and every single install kit I've got has came out with wrinkles since they are made through a single pattern . Of course I've never turned one in with wrinkles. Just have to use a steamer and or a light layer of dacron or that 1 inch foam. Very few have been super tight and for that matter I would recommend using a large trash bag, cut down the sides to cover the whole bun and itll be the easiest slip on (dont recommend for those doing heaters).

No center console, no flip out arm rest, with a head rest, that is OEM looking for all years of 88 to 98 for chevys? I'm ripping my hair out just trying to find a complete unit. I have both a '79 Lil Red and a '79 D-150, both have the black bucket seats. No one has replacement foam. No one make a repop glove box lid. No one make door panels. My D-150 has a finish out interior cab w/head liner and all trimmed out. No one makes that stuff. Replacement mirrors of the Lil Red. Sure for Chevy's and Fords but screw the Mopars.

If the seat foam is the "heart" of the upholstery where do you buy it since it is not offered by LMC. It is a little miss leading.
