Rusty I have learned so much from you! I’m just getting started in the business. I plan on focusing on jewelry. I am a dinged up, crippled up, 71-year-old lady. You will find -I promise -that your generosity and kindness to all of us who watch you on your journey through life will reap rich rewards.
Thanks for the kind words Cousin!
It must take you forever to get thru all the billions of small pieces you’ve continuously collected there. Do you have a whole staff of folks hidden in the background there to help you out so you can carry on with some kinda daily life? I’d like to see some things you say you sell for thousands of dollars all the time vs these small $15-$20 pieces. Thanks
Well cousin Rusty I’ve learned something new today. I always thought they were calling those vases swan vases because they had the long necks, swung glass lol. Who knew. Now here one for you, Givenchy…Jee-von-SHEE is how it’s commonly pronounced.
Those little mirrors in the gold frames make wonderful little display trays for shiny curios😊Makes them shine more with the reflection.Awesome👍👏👏👏applauds your pronunciation👍😊❤
Hello Cuz.....always look forward to watching your videos and continually learning new things with you! Thank you!
Excellent video rusty thank you ps one day if possible I would love to have you on my channel to talk about the life of a reseller ❤ so glad I found your channel
Let’s make a plan. You can email us at slickwebmedia@gmail.com.
I suggest knocking the bulk of the wax out of things like the planter with a table knife or similar, then pour boiling water to melt out the rest!
That orrefors vase is made by a swedish artist Sven Palqvist a really important artist it is a mid century modern piece worth hundreds, nice find.
If you pot hot water in the yellow pot with wax in it and let melt it and then wipe it out it seems to be easier to remove and no worries about scratching it!
The glass with embossed cross would sell great Easter month. Easter Lilly’s or daffodils in it 👍🏾
Slag glass shade I can see on a pole lamp stand. Maybe wrought iron….or small base on nightstand or end table near a reading chair
Cousin Hubs and I make stained glass. That is indeed Tiffany style. The white residue is wax that maybe has gotten some moisture underneath. With a soft cloth you should be able to buff off. Then grab you some carnauba car wax and buff it out. It will really shine.
Rusty, I enjoy your videos. Your content is some of the best on RUclips. Could you take us on a tour of your warehouse sometime? I would enjoy learning more about your business. Thanks, Steve.
Rusty I have my jewelry collection in those trays as well. For storage and protection I’ve placed kitchen drawer liners. Comes in a roll, cut to size from most dollar stores. Keeps everything from sliding all over the place
You must be in a great area to find all of this
Sometimes a denture tablet will remove stains on porcelain.
Good Morning Rusty, this is Chris re the silver trinket box. Thank you very much for the wonderful information you included in your video. I'm going to source a 'scratch kit' and try it out and see if I have a real 'treasure' or not. I do a bit of dabbling in the buying and selling of second hand things but it is usually if I buy something online and don't want it, I sell it on at a profit. You have inspired me to maybe take my dabbling to the next level. Kind regards, you are an inspiration!
Rusty I love learning and watching your videos! you can freeze the planter with the wax and will come out easily next day..got that tip from Tiffany of Thrifting Vegas
Love the Orrefors piece. Scandinavian, MCM at a guess, highly collectable but u might have to wait for the right buyer. High quality lead crystal & if you can tie the sig to one of their well-known artisans worth more. Please don't price too low! :)
Hello mr.rusty! Love all the info!! Can't get enough!! I learn something new every video! Squeeze the family for us! Great job!!
8:00 I would 100% call that ashtray Hollywood Regency.
1:44 I would very much like to see a video on making up jewelry lots. Do you have such a video?
Howdy, Cousin! I would market that pedestal ashtray as Hollywood Regency.
The 3 ring loops on the gold bracelet is for charms
You have great finds! Thanks Cousin!
They say to get leftover wax out put the item in the freezer over night and the wax should pop out the next day. Good luck.
Thank you for another great video. Please let the "Lead" Detective know that he is doing a superb job, and deserves a HUGE raise. Hearing that someone wanted to sell a guitar made me drop whale blubber all over my spinach salad...to be continued.
Popeye is that you ?
Spinach and pipe ? 😋
@@thetreasurehuntingboomer Olive Oyl😘
@@thetreasurehuntingboomer Ok I now know that there is a Popeye postcard
'Ji-von-chi' = Givenchy😊
Thanks!
Great to hear you
I think your great, iam learning.
Thank you Rusty
👏👏❤️ Thank you for sharing details
I'd love to see a few videos of you just going through, identifying, explaining, sorting etc. all that jewelry
coming soon....
Hi cousin. Thanks for the good information!
I had a fast question why were miniature spoon pins or brooches in sterling so popular?
Lots of vintage orphans would be in demand for crafters.
My greatgrandmother smoked a corn cob pipe in Missouri Ozarks.
DO NOT use those twisty light bulbs. When they burn out they blow up and can start fires. Look up the difference in swung and pulled vases. The Lamp shade is actually a Frank Lloyd Wright style.
Rusty, you don't need to "carve" out the wax, just soak it in hot water for about ten minutes, and it should come loose. Additional hot water might be needed to remove the residue.
I actually do the opposite: put it in the fridge or freezer so it gets as hard as possible, and it'll pop right out with little to no residue left.
@@mspitstoptoyou that works, too!
I also put in the freezer.
Hey 👋😊 cousin
Hey Cuz!!!🥰👍

I want the Gold Bracelet Please???
LOVE What sold!!!!
Love your videos! Keep doing what you do and being you!!
Love the blue vase! Wonder if ever made in Vaseline glass or uranium ware?
Love learning from you Cuz thank you 👍
What else can you steal from bins?
My stainless steel is magnetic.
Wish I lived in big town but not, lol!
