You're welcome there is no part number for the actuator it's just a metal gear that they improve on you can order on eBay or Amazon for that pacific car BMW e66 parking brake actuator
Sorry for the late response I actually got it off of eBay updated parking brake actuator If you go on eBay and look up that part you'll see a whole select few of them
I did this repair and lost power after reassembled. Cann you tell me what to look for to check power? I didn’t disconnect the battery before doing this repair? Fuse? Relay? I’m not sure.
Mine has a refrigerator in da back of park brake actuator . I can't pull the module vertically, so am gonna have to unhook da brake cables in the module which I can't do that . Can u tell me how to disconnect the brake cables
Sorry for the late reply there's only two ways you can disconnect the parking brake cables one is from the parking brake module but you'r saying the refrigerator is in the way you might have to remove it to get to the module the other way is to remove the wheels brake calipers and rotors release the spring from the brake shoes you should be able to remove the parking brake cable from there but if your parking brake is engaged you'r going to have to remove the refrigerator
I apologize for the late reply I am a very busy man I never removed the parking brake cables I just replaced the actuator gear but if you remove the actuator gear it should free up the cable take a pair of grip pliers pull on the cables and there's some clamps that you can slide them out from and the whole module will be free
Once you replace the actuator shaft you go in the vehicle and you hold the parking brake down for 10 seconds and then release if not unplug the battery touch the negative and positive cable together it will drain all the power modules out of the car and it should reset if that don't work you will need some type of software or OBD2 scanner to reset it
