In this episode we will be replacing the old, damping material with new ones inside the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8000 . Replacing the damping Material is a highly effective solution. The outdated, rotting Damping material inside the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8000 MK1 models is a major problem that will eventually cause harm to the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8000 amplifier and power supply boards.
Replacing the damping material within the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8000 will improve the speaker's isolation and sound quality. However, the most crucial thing to remember is to keep rotting Damping material away from the speaker's amplifier and power supply boards.
There is a significant chance that Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8000 will not turn on in the future and not working properly if the dampening Material has not been replaced.

Rigtig god feedback. Jeg havde ikke tænk på man også kunne skifte pakningerne langs kanterne men det vil 100% være oplagt. Jeg må lige se hvor man kan købe dem henne og helt klart inkludere i pakken :)

Has only the mk1 version this problem? Or has the mk2 the same problem?
Most of the MK 1 version has that problem. The MK 2 (Most of them are upgraded with the new Amplifier and new isolation Foam. But I will check anyway if I was you. Just take the front cover off and remove one woofer.
@@KoseTradingWhat about the insulation material in the amplifier, and the taped foam that protects the wiring near the power base? I removed those which was also rotten based on your other video. Does the replacement include that piece as well or should I just keep those exposed?
Great question. The tape can be re-used after the cleaned if you want. You can also take the cables and reposition so it's not hitting the boards. The tape is not included. @@pasleon

Also in the power base there are taped rotted foam to protect the wires near the transformer. I removed all the rot foam including tapes as per your other video, is it ok to leave them exposed?
Yes, just make sure the cables are not hitting the board og reposition the cables.@@pasleon

But u change just part of damping material.. where i can get other? i asq about material from top. for example..
