Just to add, you can also do this in the catacombs where 2 necromancer crystals are. The exp you get is slightly better per 4 minutes + no loading time (the time you travel from end to end in goblin cave)
Well they aren't Maxed Archetypes per say. You need to get your relationship levels up to 3 with select characters to unlock the next class (Example: Mage's next class is Wizard in game, which will boast more powerful spells, but to do so you need to reach Rank 3 Gallica and the furthest you rank in the Demo you can reach with her is Rank 2). So the game hard caps your classes upgrades in the Prolouge at 20 in'till the story progresses. You can however just power level your characters main levels.
You're better off doing this starting Imps forest and after getting the 4th party member. You will have the merchant by then. It's also a place where you can start farming mp restore items. One quick round around the map is 3k+ Mag and 25k gold. No floors to run between, you have 4 characters to give you the hero's leaf of light and on a faster pace.
I went into this dungeon at lvl 9, set the difficulty to story teller. I battled the goblins but if you dont take damage you get bonus xp, that multiplies if you keep battling and not getting hit. So I went from 9 to lvl 20 in 45 minutes and maxed out my archetypes. You don't get anywhere near as much XP etc when you start being able to one shot them outside of battle
The trick is to oneshot the lv 9 goblins to recover MP, those with arms and the mage on are lv 16 so just do a squad battle and try to kill them all in 2 turns while they are stunned, the bonus exp is very good. That said it’s a really long grind 😅
Thank you for this. I was able to go from level 11 to 15 within 2 hours or so. Plan to get to level 20 before the game is released so much more grinding to do.
Thanks, and this helps considering I'm grinding on this same dungeon. I was here for hours last night. And your right this takes alot of time, I'm 16 hours in the demo and still haven't maxed out the mage archtype yet. Hes almost at mastery
Instead of the short back and forth to Plateau. I'll start at the beginning of the dungeon and when I get to Akedamia I go in just reset. Then make my way back to the beginning. And leave out so it resets bith ways. Found a solid route there and back wiping out all enemies boyh ways. Takes roughly 7 mins or so and will fill the exp bar for Archetypes around 3/4 quarts of the way up. The most exp comes from the goblin mages and then the archers. So wipe all of them out, even the one in a small room out to the side. The mage in the off path room by the treasure chest is worth the extra exp. But this has been working great. Almost got all my mains archtypes maxed in roughly a few hours.
Same I just leveled to 18 just to beat guptaurus but the farm there was a pain because I was running from the cat to the entrance and when I died I lost the experience i gained along the way. This method is insanely better.
You won't steam roll the game per say. But maxing at least 1 class each in your main party and reaching level 17 is a good start before you burn yourself out doing anything past that.
3 farming spots so far for me early game 1. goblin dungeon 2. catacombs (2 crystals DO NOT DESTROY Them, they infinitely spawn skeletons) 3. Desert ( so far my favorite maxed out few archetypes farming here for a few hours ). im still early game so im sure theres more a little late in the game
Grand cathedral is better for grinding. Just like the goblins, youd be getting 3 A EXP each defeated skeleton, and they infinitely spawn. The cathedral requires far less traveling back and forth, except to ocassionally save your progress by a conveniently nearby room and restore the crystal's health if it's been accidentally depleted a bit. I broke it down elsewhere, but I'll repost it here for more specifics: "Doing this with infinite spawning skeletons at the Cathedral, you'll net 3 A EXP with each enemy defeat. It takes approximately 12 - 15 minutes to gain just about 1000 A EXP. You may be abke to slightly optimize that a bit, possivly even getting it down to 11 or even 10 minutes, but its unlikely with the slight length of time it takes for them to respawn, so I'd say 12 minutes to be on the safe end. If you did this optimally, you'll want to use three level 20 archetypes, one for each party member, when grinding for the fruits. Let's just say for the ease of it that your other archetypes are all level 1 with no experience put into them yet. Next, you'll need thirteen fruits to fully level each archetype from level 1. With that in mind, it will take five runs (60 - 75 minutes) to fully level an archetype, utilizing 13 fruits plus 2 held left over. The next two archetypes will take four runs (48 - 60 minutes) plus one fruit left over from the first run for each archetype. So, to level up three archetypes, you're looking at 2.6 - 3.25 hours. After leveling all archetypes available to you at this point, you could spend an additional 6.6 - 8.25 hours grinding for x99 fruits. Of course, this is after the grind getting your initial archetypes for each character up to level 20. You'll also net around 4,500 MAG and 8,600 MONEY each 12 - 15 minute run. I don't remember the EXP gain numbers at the moment. Note that on the third day (and maybe the second), the MAG exchange rate is X3. You can rake in a huge amount of money early on and purchase several higher end pieces of equipment and items available to you at this point. Which, I'd do before heading off the face Guptauros on the third day. Edit: you'll get 2 EXP per enemy defeated. in a 12 - 15 minute run, you'll net 668 EXP. You'll also have quite a few muddled swords or whatever to appraise and sell for profit." In total, you could be looking at 20 to 30 some-odd-hours to max out every archetype, plus your game time beforehand.
@@Legendaryyy77 I did it day 2, since Guptauros could be a bit difficult! So, I was a bit inefficient. @@Legendaryyy77 I can't if I go back my demos is over if I remember correctly 47k or something and other one is 20k sorry I don't remember but around those prices
@@Legendaryyy77 The one that does consecutive actions is 49,000 and the guarding one is 27,500.
It doesn't give you extra press turn. It just uses what you have 2 Double on that character
@@buddylord3276 still pretty good
You can do it after enter caracombs?
Yes
It's pronounced Ar-ka- types!!!
What's a good Luck stat to rest at while doing all this farming?
Honestly whatever is fine lmao
It’s ur strength that mainly matters
@@Legendaryyy77 Even when you're using the Mage archetype? 🤔
@@Voitan yes
Again ofc your magic is importsnt but it’s ultimately your level that determine if you one shot Gobs
I always focus on strength becuz I use warrior for combat
Not mage
Mage is only good for outer world
What level do you need to be to kill enemies in the overworld and not need to go to squad mode?
@@GJimenex20 19-21
Where did you get that Sword for Strohl?
Defeat the dragon in the mines
If your party member is mage does their MP also fill?
Yes
We only need the MC's Archetype to be Mage, then the party's Mp gets rejuvenated irrespective of what archetype they are
only the demo is out how do we have a max guide already
or did i miss something
mage infinite MP is stupid
@@Legendaryyy77 ok i thought somehow people cracked the demo into full game like it was with disgeaa 5. noted.
Wait for High Mage
As long as user is buffed, recover MP at start of turn
@@ahmedfalahy9337 game really shouldnt give me infinite mp exploits i will have fun when the game actually comes out
What level are you?
I don't like these kind of things, I like to progress in a game naturally. Everytime I do these farming grinding stuff, takes the excitement of the game. To a point being overleveled makes the game boring and repetitive.
I mean yeah your choice ofc lmao
What ? You did all this in the Demo???
Lots of free time and shitton of grinding
@@revoxlive average SMT fan
U not got 6 arch tho
Brawler is catacombs yeah
This is only day 2
@@Legendaryyy77 i went to necro half ov dungoen acuired brawler went bk then went catacombs to farm n lvl 6 archs
How do you swap Archetypes while on the field.
open your command prompt
and go to equipment
Nice! I dont understand how farm hero leafs (the item he used to lvl an archtype), may u explain me? Thanks.
Over level a archetype
After you master a archetype
You can keep using that archetype and leveling it up to get a hero leaf
@@Legendaryyy77 , so i can spam mage, farm hero leaf, and use hero leaf for level up other archetypes? Nice, thanks.
What's the point of grinding just stick it on story mode and be overpowered from the start
Bc bragging rights and some people find being a high level fun
surprisingly doesn't have Merchant Archetype
@@HyouVizer you can’t get this from the demo
@@Legendaryyy77 you can get it when you turn in the horn on day 3, but it skips time to night so you can't run dungeon with it. however, i think you can still use your hero items to level it up at night.
@khmergodhobbies can confirm. Doing a bench sitting during Day 1, then cooking at the inn at night, will net you rank 2 wisdom from that sidequest on day 2 without taking up time.
@@JameboHayabusa correct, but after hitting night, you can't do the cathedral dungeon until game releases. it's crazy that one turn in costs part of the day
