    The lore behind Sinjoh (in the manga at least) is that it’s a pocket dimension Arceus made for his most loyal human followers. They dedicated that temple to Arceus so he could return when humanity is ready for him (which Gold proves by the end of HGSS).
    Also in the manga, Mew is theorized to be from Faraway Island in Hoenn. The reason why it’s so hard to find is because it’s also in a pocket dimension and only opens to the public once a month. It’s just a theory though and not actually confirmed.

      Well you know it holds up if you ignore the time Lance like fucking poke-nuked whole population centers and did some pretty awful shit with the Elite Four, or Mewtwo's giant spoon weapon and the fact that he's genetically linked to Blaine because he used his DNA to help create Mewtwo and well I could go on.

    I have a feeling Sinjoh is actually just ancient/unsettled Johto. Johto just having become its modern/official name BEFORE the events of PLA. That being how you could have references for both.

    • @lianaverwood9810
      @lianaverwood9810 Год назад +10

      Personally, I think the name *'Sinjoh'* comes from the fact that Sinnoh was originally *part of the Land Mass that had Johto (and Kanto) on it,* thus 'Sinjoh' would be the name *of the Continent.*
      Remember, Sinnoh is the resting place of *Regigigas,* the Pokémon that supposedly _pulled the Continents_ into their current positions. If Sinnoh were pulled apart from Sinjoh and broke off, the area between the two would've probably been torn apart - *hence the 'Ruins' of Sinjoh!*
      The fact you can only reach these ruins *via Arceus* means wherever they are is likely _on an island_ that survived this calamity *through Arceus' power,* somewhere *between Sinnoh and the Kanto/Johto Mainland...*

    • @jamiemckell34
      @jamiemckell34 Год назад +1

      No, I think Sinjoh is what the ancients used to call Arceus.. as in an alternative name.
      That's why they are called Sinjoh ruins, they are an old temple of Arceus.
      They are stating in the old tale that this is the land of Arceus.
      Perhaps that's how Sinnoh gets its name eventually, and also Johto is named after it too due to the ruins of alph

    • @lianaverwood9810
      @lianaverwood9810 Год назад +1

      @@jamiemckell34 I doubt *Game Freak* were thinking that far ahead at the time. _Pokémon Legends: Arceus_ shows that the descendants of the Ancients know that the *"Almighty Sinnoh"* that the current Natives revere (despite mistakenly attributing this faith to _Dialga and Palkia)_ is actually referring to the entity known as *Arceus - not 'Sinjoh'.*
      And as I said, the *Sinjoh Ruins Event* was created way back in _Heart Gold and Soul Silver,_ during the Generation that *introduced the Sinnoh Region* - so it's much more likely that _Game Freak_ were trying to create the link between *the Unown in the Ruins of Alph in Johto* and *the Alpha Pokémon Arceus residing in the Sinnoh Region,* by having the Event happen in a location that is somewhere between the two Continents, thus being named _the 'Sin-Joh' Ruins..._
      This naming convention has appeared in the past as precedent, too - the Tunnel being made in the Hoenn Region was named for the fact _it would connect Rustboro City with Verdanturf Town_ - the *Rusturf (Rust-Turf) Tunnel.*
      So while I can believe that *Game Freak* may have been hinting at _the Sinnoh and Johto Regions being physically connected_ at one point, I doubt they'd have come up with the Idea of *Arceus being referred to as "Sinjoh"* when they made this Event...

    So what we have so far:
    - a very hot region where garchomp comes from.
    - A region that would act as a link between jhoto and sinnoh.
    - the region of holon that is only mentioned in the tcg.
    - a possible region based on guyana (or in South America if they want to simplify)
    where mew material was found.
    - a possible indian based region where gumshoos and copperajah hails from.
    and as an extra a possible region based on china where the legendary quartet came from and who were brought to paldea...that's a lot.
    Although if we are realistic probably the next region is based on another European country (hopefully it's Italy)

    • @nickdentoom1173
      @nickdentoom1173 Год назад +2

      The next European region is most likely the Netherlands.
      Artazon is a Dutch styled town...
      Hassel is a Dutch surname. There is this: Hassel is a descendant of a long line of Dragon-type Trainers in an unnamed faraway region. He ran away from home as a youth to pursue a dream of "making music", before becoming a member of the Elite Four in the Paldea Region as well as an art instructor at the academy. Hassel is shown to be friendly, but very emotional, as he bursts into tears of joy when defeated by the player. He is an old friend of Gym Leader Brassius of Artazon. At one point, one of Hassel's relatives tries to convince him to come home, but his students' support prompts him to remain at the academy.
      There is a painting in the players house with 2 Dutch Styled windmills on it.
      BDSP has the Starry Nights painting... which is made by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh.
      Quaxly's dex entry also semi-confirms it... since Quaxly is based on the Crested Duck.
      The Crested is a breed of domestic duck. It was probably brought to Europe from the East Indies by Dutch ships.[3]: 413  It has its appearance because it is heterozygous for a genetic mutation causing a deformity of the skull.
      The Crested probably originates in the East Indies, with subsequent development in Holland.[3]: 413  Crested ducks are seen in seventeenth-century paintings such as those of Melchior d'Hondecoeter and Jan Steen.

    An Australia region for the Gible line makes a lot of sense. Its based on the Hammerhead shark and those animals roam the waters around Australia (And New Zealand).
    Netherlands region is all but confirmed as well..
    Dutch styled town in Paldea (Artazon).
    Hassel is a Dutch surname... and there is this... Hassel is a descendant of a long line of Dragon-type Trainers in an unnamed faraway region. Interesting bit of history.
    The surname Hassell was first found in Holland, where the name became noted for its many branches in the region, each house acquiring a status and influence which was envied by the princes of the region. The name was first recorded in Amsterdam, an ancient 13th century town held by the Lords of Amstel. Giesebrecht II built a castle there.
    There is also this: John Hassell (1767-1825), English watercolour landscape painter, engraver, illustrator, writer, publisher and drawing-master.
    Soo... yeah... Netherlands is probably the next European region.

    Here is my theory on each of these entries:
    I bet that Gible and Gabite and Garchomp original forms would come from a Galapagos region. They could be long lost ancestors of those swimming lizards. Galapagos is on the equator line and is a island chain of tropical islands.
    Sinjoh could be a location that is hidden by tall mountains above Sinnoh and Johto. There could of been a cave in blocking the Sinjoh Ruins from the tribe of Sinjohians. If there was ever a pokemon game about Sinjoh I would imagine it being a location stuck in the Hisui times. There would be past forms of many pokemon that would be normal to them. My theory is if this game was to have a plot, it would be about Sinnoh or Johto miners coming in and trying to change the Sinjohians way of life.
    I think the Holan region would just be a region where all TCG games are set. It would make more sense than alternate universe where Pokemon became cards and the trainers battle them for prizes by going to different battle stadiums all around the region and beating them in Pokemon TCG.
    This Guyanan Mew home-region would also make sense if combined with an equador region, smush all the North-South American countries into one for this :)
    Side-note: Far-away island? Sounds like one of the names for the tropical islands of the Galapagos region where Garchomp comes from :)
    India region: To be honest, that is 100% going to be gen 10 or 11. (I don’t know if Game-freak would want to make their milestone 10 game based on Japan)

    While Australia seems feasable for the Garchomp line, I'd also like to propose a Florida/Carribbean region(s). Besides, Sharknado partially took place in Florida, Shamu was technically a Shark, and Florida is subtropical. It also plays into the weird behaviors of the state.

      Hawaii is actually hotter than Florida on average (Hawaii 81F, Florida 82F as hottest temperatures... Hawaii 72F and Florida 61F coldest)... So if we take the average... Hawaii is hotter than Florida... as such Florida doesn't fit in.
      Because Australia is relatively close to the equator, it is quite warm. In the north, temperatures are still well above twenty degrees Celsius (68 °F) during the local winter, and only in some parts of southern Australia there is a chance of frost or snow. It is also a fairly dry country, with over half of the land area receiving less than five hundred millimeters (19.6 inch) of precipitation on an annual basis.
      So Australia is on average also hotter than Florida.
      So its probably Australia.

      My theory is a bit long, but I short up the important part.
      In the real world the Romans fought the Carthaginians that were riding Elephants.
      In the Pokémon world the were probably riding Cooperajah. During the war with the romans who were winning and using Bisharp and more importantly Falinks some soldiers and Pokémon escaped or get kidnapped or gr lost. The Pokémon came to the Germans who traded them against food or territory or peace or conquered other valleys or breeded them and gifted to other valley and the Copperajah and Falinks got to the coast. In the Vikings time the Vikings got to Galar and so the Copperajah and Falinks got there.
      And even earlier the Copperajah were exported from India to Africa. But that's another story
