The book about the Galar mural’s destruction is the book Sonia was writing during SWSH, and the red history book is the Scarlet Book Arven owns, which is of course the Violet book in Violet
Kinda knew all of these. But here's one for ya! Did you know, if you circle the very crest of the great crater without falling into the loading zone, you can find magnezone and garchomp flying around? They seem a little broken in their pathing, and watching garchomp glide through the air is a bit off-putting, but they're up there. In violet, at least. I haven't checked scarlet.
They're also in Scarlet. I didn't notice until I was about to fight the Pokemon League and I saw a Garchomp shadow overhead
Was fun looking at them. Sucks I was never able to catch Magnezone
Ironically, it was both of those Pokemon i found by accident while stuck in a roadblock in the story as only my starter was any good and the rest of my team was filler mons for using revives.
I decided to climb up the crater on a whim, and managed to find both of them rather quickly, and those two showed up with a perfect nature. Brought them all the way to endgame and have fully comp trained them out of gratitude.

And I caught both. I had to find a got spot for magnezone so I could start a battle but in the end I caught one.
My favorite secret was the murals, it's really nice to see that the old games were being represented here in such display.

My favorite secret is the symbol on the ground in the cave where Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon spawn in Area Zero. If you climb up to the top of the cliff you can see the symbol on the ground in it's entirety, it is one of 4 symbols on the Scarlet/Violet Book. I believe this cave will have more importance in a future DLC that flushes out Area Zero a bit more.

Honestly I just love how much freedom we have in this game. It’s such a cool open world. As similar as it feels to sword and shield to me, I can definitely see where they made improvements

My favorite easter egg is the Let's Go mechanic not attacking shinies and also If you save the game and comeback the shiny Will still be there so this is Very cool, what also is Nice is that in co-op more If you find a shiny the other person can catch It.
I think the Oras secret base items are the most interesting easter egg to me. Of all the decorations to pick to appear those were certainly weird choices lol
didnt even bother that much with secret bases in ORAS, so definitely suprising easter egg

Well, all of those items are considered "Art Pieces", so it makes sense for them to appear in Artazon of all places.
I loved the murals from the first Easter egg since my first pokemon game as a kid was Pokemon Red on the original Gameboy. Most of my friends at the time had game boy advances, but I still had the original, and I loved playing it so much. It was a huge part of my childhood, so it was really exciting to see those murals.
Honestly I really loved the Easter egg where I got to see all the old classic icons they used from the original Pokémon yellow, blue, and red. It really brought a lot of memories back of staying up late and trying to hide my gameboy at night so my parents wouldn’t find it, and also scrambling around to find some kinda light source to see the picture 🤣
I smiled so hard when I discovered the pixel art sprites
Man, I remember those chunky light clip on things to solve that. Which was great, but a glowing duvet really broke that covert gaming...

The Nacli line is by farm my favorite. Not only because of the naming convention, but Salt Cure is a very good move that can help negate 2 of the pokemons weaknesses
That and water and steel are two of the best defensive typings, having a counter to them both is great.
I loved the gen 1 sprit models being in the game. Such a nostalgic blast from a fairly overlooked and forgotten part of the series’s early outings
There is a steel terraforming level 75 Dragonite at the edge of the map. Really useful against the fairy types it's actually sick
there is also a fighting level 60 raichu off the coast of porto marinada
I really enjoy the old sprit Easter egg. It just brings back memories of playing Pokemon Yellow on my Ds. Those were the good days.
The Dragonair that is fully prepped for the final challenge "era" of the game is definitely my favorite because it feels like Nintendo put it there just because one of their staff just really liked Dragonair and wanted everyone to use it
there's also a lvl 75 terra lucario somwhere in a cave :)

Honestly love the first about the murals based on the og sprites. I felt very nostalgic seeing those again
So the best secret is the alternate routes that you can take to get to "blocked" places.
Honestly though, the most obscure I think is the large guy who is the cameo in every version. I'm guessing he's one of the original developers, or a friend of one... Either way, it's cool they put things from many other previous games into this one, while not making this game a straight re-hash of the last 8 generations.
I like the alternate route secret. The beach shortcut and cave shortcut remind me of the shortcuts in the Mario Kart 64 courses.
I see your level 54 Dragonair and I raise you a level 65 Water tera type Garchomp that knows Liquidation. Found in a huge mountain cave in West Province Area 2, you can glide in there from a watch tower. This beast absolutely mauls pretty much the entire Elite Four on its own. And I went in with a level 69 (nice) Hydreigon to back it up. Also found a level 65 Tsareena in the high level mountain path area.
There is also a lvl 75 Lucario deep in a hidden cave, which is Ice Tera Type with Ice Punch/CloseCombat/MeteorMash
i went to elite four with kind of underleved pokemon but the garchomp really saved me
Honestly, I find the secret route to Alfornada (#16.) hilarious, and it has, ever since I've seen it, been my favourite skip.
Only because as pokemon fans, when we find out we can't get past the cave without an upgrade, we think "huh, let me wait 5 more hours to get an upgrade for Miraidon to jump this". But literally all we had to do was the one thing pokemon fans are near never allowed to do. and that is to just walk around the obstacle.
Also, at 4:48, when Miraidon is trying to jump up that corner, there is a small lip on the wall that has collision, and you can jump right off it and on to the platform. Though, to do that you need Miraidon's dash and glide. The dash will give him a running start to gain momentum, then once making a full regular jump, and activating the glide, ride the incline for height. Then it's just a matter of spamming B to jump and glide off the lip and onto the edge. Congratulations! Now you and you level 25 pokemon can die to a level 43 gabite in hopes for some sinistea fragments to get rid of your Charcadet for a Ceruledge.
Saw the route from the cliff and got the psychic badge as my second gym badge (after the bug badge). I had to dodge most of the pokemon and trainers in the cave because my team was 10 levels under leveled
I didn't even know about the normal way to get there, I only knew about the back path lol also you might be able to backwards jump up that wall
I hadn't realized that the Tera Pokémon around the world were set spawns, that's very cool!
I think my favorite on the list is probably #19, always love hearing what Pokémon are based on, and I'd never heard of that fairy tale before.

you can also sequence break in the other direction too, even before reaching Los Platos for your second battle with Nemona. There's a cliff that overlooks South Area One from South Area Five, populated by lv 22-ish pokemon. If you wait for a pokemon to spawn at the top of the hill, you can battle-teleport up to the top of the cliff and head through South Area Three towards Artazon.
I did this, and didn't come back to face Nemona until 10 hour later... RIP to Nemona's lv8 Quaxly. My pokemon were all ~lv40 by that point.
There is a Lv75 Tera Steel Dragonite and is easy to access after you get the climbing or flying ability.

My favourite Easter egg is the different rotor cases because it adds more personality choices to the game and shows that game freak wants to reward the player for playing other games! 😃

The murals of the old sprites is my favourite. When I saw it for the first time I got hit by a huge nostalgia hit! Still makes me smile. :)
I won't lie, the Nacli line has grown on me SO much, and I quite liked it when I first saw it! I love the little fact that its name is the chemical compound for salt, that's just such a cool naming convention for the entire line. :D

My favourite secret is the murals of the old sprites because Pokémon has always had some of the most beautiful sprite-work and it’s nice to see it preserved in a way.
it's actually nostalgic to see the old sprites in a "fairly modern" game like scarlet
You gotta love the old art piece on the wall.. it just hits the right spot for nostalgia
I loved the Gen one references. I started with red and blue. Makes me feel a bit old but it does come with some pride for how far pokemon has come.
So if you go all the way west, there's a spot where you can find 3 static wild Dragonites alongside a bunch of Noibats and Noivern. And there is also a lvl 75 Tera Steel Dragonite.
My favourite has to be the gen 1 sprites being on the wall, great little EE for long time fans
Secret number 16 was incredibly cool. I wish they'll do that more often in the next games. Oh, and do something about level progression.
"The Power of Science is amazing" maybe he is a time-traveller and is saying that it is amazing, that's why he keeps getting to every gen in the game idk.

fun fact bout the 7th gym leader, i got there by accident by looking for that winding path, was looking for finizin and stumbled on it lol,still good to know, also you can climb some cliffs by jumping backwards into them so i think you can get up that ledge, hope this helps

My favorite Easter egg was the Science and Technology Man. I love Science and Technology and this man traveled the entire world to just tell about how much he loves it!
Being one of the many that played the original Red, blue and yellow games. The wall sprites got me in the nostalgia. That was my favourite Easter 🥚
The third base decoration, the Paradoxical Popper is also in Artazon, it’s on the play structure by a TM.
One thing i seen is you can skip the Team Star until you're forced to complete to access the final quest of the main game (The one to access the Area Zero). So you can go without beating any of the Team Star members at all and brezee through them later without effort, since ... if you already beat it the gyms and the league then you can just wipe all the 5 with strong level pokes.
Also one curiosity i didn't know up to some days ago is you can get a regular size version of the titan pokes, with the add you can have a special badge you can add to them with the "title name". Every time you send one it will be "name of the pokemon, name of the title as titan".
They are not so much hidden around the place you fight them once you already defeat it.
Also some theorize what is at the north east of the region is literally Kalos. Because if we go by geographical location, shape and in what both regions are base of (Paldea = Spain, Kalos = France), as well the number of Kalos' pokemons (as well Galar), we can assume Paldea is next to Kalos. With the addition of Galar been at the north (again base on Galar been based in UK and this one is located at the north of Spain and France).
My favorite one was about Nacli which I could only understand after your video I have been playing for days straight and I only got to know why was It named like that after watching you thanks Man and keep doing amazing videos.
To be honest my favorite was the pewter crunchies really small yet fun thing to add into the game

Man number 18 just is the one. When I caught Nacli and saw it was the rock salt Pokémon it clicked finally. Myself and the Salt Brother are having a fun time with the latest entries in the franchise.
I think the best secrets here are the ones about sequence breaking. Helps the open world be even more open world.

Yo I'm a chemist and I'm here to tell you salt can totally be rock. Rocks are typically silicates, but there is nothing in the definition that forbids other types of minerals to not be rock.
Also: ice as in frozen water is a mineral (as in liquid water is like lava) and therefore ice could also be classified as rock.

The level 60+ Dragonite and Lucario found in the wild is a nice reward for exploring the map.

Another secret/reference I found was when I was fighting the trainers in Iono’s gym challenge. The trainers actually have the Pokestar Studios logo from Black and White 2 on their shirt.

My favorite secret in the vidya was the Flying-Tera Pikachu. That little guy has been around since the start of most people’s adventure, and by extension, their love for Pokémon as a whole!

When I started playing the game I thought to myself this version isn't made for new players. It's made for us older generations that grew up with the original games and the original Pokemon when I saw the pixel murals I felt that even more and had to stop and smile.
I love the technology dude. In fact, when I saw it I talked to him just to check if he indeed was the technology lover and it was! hahaha love the Easter eggs
Those gen 1 sprites simultaneously made me feel all warm and fuzzy and old af when I found them.
Oh 100% science guy. I played blue when it first released and remember my first run in with him and people thought I was crazy when I said he's in basically every game.
If you dont have climbing or gliding for your legendary, you can backwards jump up on certain ledges, you can climb it backwards, allowing you to get to certain areas early
The power of science guy is my favourite, great to see him get attention.

honestly I gotta say my favorite part has to be the pixel pictures of the gen one pokemon icons. That's a level of nostalgia that really just brings back such good memories of playing pokemon yellow and then seeing them transition in pokemon silver

I *REALLY* dig how the game is true open world, to the point where you can skip the linear path by the sheer fact that you're not confined to specific tiles that dictate the linear road you must take.
These Easter Eggs are so cool, I really like the little path to the cave, it’s good to see Pokémon is finally making the game a little less linear
I can't get over how Nacli is basically a mushroom from Super Mario that evolves into a Minecraft frog and then into a walking ancient temple. (I don't really know how else to describe Garganacl's appearance.)

Forget the Dragonair! There’s a level 75 steel tera-type Dragonite on the rightmost side of the map, a little south of the fighting type team star base. It got me through the entire E4 alone. Highly recommend!

It really made my day when I had seen the sprites. Didn't see them initially, I was on my way up the tower when one caught my eye and I thought to myself, that looks like a Tauros... Wait a minute lol
The murals of the Gen 1 pokemon is my favorite easter egg. It put a smile on my face the first time I rode by on my Miraidon.
