I did four tours in total for operation slipper (Australian military), the poms were always gentleman and conducted themselves professionally and with precision, the yanks were cowboys in camo, no OPSEC and I felt they used to reverse all of the hard work and rapport building and pissed off the locals (teased the kids as well), yanks used to go out in their humvees without a sapper in front and get blown to pieces
@@ConstantineJoseph l think it's because the USA has more resources, man power and money, they also have almost overwhelming public support at home for their armed forces, so the US military can get away with alot more in regards to their discipline, how much collateral damage they can inflict on the local populations and how much casualties they are prepared to take in operations. UK and Aussie forces have to be more cautious about how they go about their business because the public and politicians here wont tolerate what the Americans will, so generally they have smaller numbers of very well trained soldiers.
