    Awesome to see vlogs again! Good job on having specific things to work on going into a practice session. Keep it up!

    I agree, you get a B+. To learn what tilt, speed, and control is to pin action, is just one of the things needed for success in the PBA. That's why I got my first legal 300 at 72 yrs old. I now have 6. You over powered the down swing a few times, but noticed it and made the correct move on the next swing. That small loft you were doing corrected down lane ball motion and went through the pins nicely. In competition, don't watch everyone, I always confused myself trying to figure out how some guy got the pins to fall on the same hit I was doing. It's a round ball hitting round pins 60 ft away. What can go wrong? Good luck MG, you're on a good path.

    Looking good. That roll out shot always reminds me of Bob Spaulding. Gotta love Digital Underground coming in during the 6th minute followed by 69 Boyz. Around here, it's like, country and or western music during open play. Don't think I've ever heard a house make periodic "Do not cross the foul line" announcements. Good luck at the regional.

    Recording my own practice sessions and making sure small helpful adjustments were being developed turned me into a powerful 2 handed bowler

    Focus point 3 is the main one. I don't care how high your backswing is, as long as you keep it square at the line and not twist and dip that shoulder so low. You're doing good here. Keep it up...........and love your videos!

      One more thing while watching the video, those 2 shots starting at 10:17 were the best of the night. You were more square at the line and hand position was great. Notice when you throw a good one, your ball doesn't roll out at the pins, it keeps driving. Another key is to wait on the ball........get set at the line and let the swing come through effortlessly. With a free swing you can do almost anything to the ball. Good luck in the regional!!

      Thanks johnjohns! Yeah towards the end I started letting my fingers get around it a little more and you can definitely see it flip up harder

    Just a suggestion, but while practicing, you should slow down the time in between shots, so as to replicate tournament or league play. It's easy to repeat shot after shot, the time in between mimics bowling for score... Just my opinion! Love the key points you're working on though! Good luck in the regional

    • @220vlogs
      @220vlogs  Месяц назад +1

      Good suggestion for the future but I usually only get ~30 min of practice time and right now I need to get more reps in to dial in the muscle memory

    Looks like your A game is when the swing is head high and you're more inside. When your swing is shoulder high and you were slightly more right on the approach your ball motion wasn't so great.

    Typical comment section pro advice... but I wish you’d concentrate on that slide foot. Your hips are way left on the bad shots and your slide foot shows it. When you throw a good shot your slide foot is straighter until the torque of your downswing is negated. As in your swing is pulling your hips in. Every good shot your foot is straighter... Watch that slide foot is all I’m sayin. Love the content Mike. Your main channel editing is always on point. Stay clean out there!
    Shout out to Luniz - I got 5 on it at 9:35. Lol

    • @220vlogs
      @220vlogs  Месяц назад +1

      I’m not even sure what I’d need to focus on to straighten it out, I feel like it’s stimming from somewhere in my approach and not just in the slide itself lol

    Look I’m not your coach, the trick or goal will be controlling your emotions and adrenaline once you start your tournament. And also when the lanes become challenging and you start trying to score more. Love your content man.

    i dont know if im imagining it or not. but everytime you say you have a good shot vs. when you dont. i think your timing is different. everything else looks almost exactly the same. its where the ball is in the swing compared to when you take your step. then again i could be wrong. its just something i think about when i throw the ball.

    • @220vlogs
      @220vlogs  Месяц назад +1

      Probably right. Some shots my swing is a lil higher which would make sense that my timing would be a lil off too.. just gotta lock in 🔒
