I can only repeat myself, and say the same things as with previous videos! Exceptional quality, actually useful information and extra tips that makes life easier, brilliant narration, nice chilled background music, and thanks god NO BS!! So happy that you guys are making these videos, thank you for all the work you put into it! Brilliant idea with the zip tie handle on the inflator hose, will definitely use that!!!
Fantastic video as usual and the breakaway boltsnap is a damn great idea!! I have already rigged it up and will try it in action over the weekend. Thanks for all your hard work!
Just a delight. Many may have the professional competency to teach it - but they lack the understanding how to *show* it properly on video! Angles, pacing, focus on the relevant pieces, correct naming ... just everything as precise as it possibly can be. Deserved compliment for all the effort!
the side mount series has been very helpful ! please keep up the great work ! may I suggest a video on cylinders (and rigging) , and how Florida vs Mexico style differ ?
I can never get the ziptie + o-ring properly secured as they keep on sliding away. However, just like how you use lines to tie the boltsnap to your torch, I use lines + o-ring. So far, this works well. I never seen the dual ziptie on the inflator hose though and I will give this one a run. Thank you 😃 So many opinions on 90 vs 70 degree swivels. I have opted for the 70 degree. What's your opinion on this and if possible, your opinion on "omni" swivels too. Thank you.
Very useful, appreciate it, be assembling my sidemount soon, one question however, can we use both 5th port for Spg and also any preferred material for hoses if we decide to stow spg into the band ?
@52hz52hz Hi, the 5th ports are LP ports, so they're not suitable for SPGs. If you're inexperienced, I recommend sticking with this exact setup and assembling your regulators identically. Make changes only when you have gained enough experience and can justify the need. Your instructor will likely advise the same.
We intentionally take a different approach because using only one wrench helps prevent overtightening, which could and will otherwise damage the O-ring and cause leaks. You can effectively use one wrench without any problems.
Suggestion: instead of silicone grease use proper O2-compatible lubricant like Tribolube. It is not too expensive and will probably be safer when using Nitrox.
@xineissm This is a common misconception. An O2 compatible lubricant is only working if it's not contaminated. Using this in a non-sterile environment with tools that were not o2 cleaned, it's totally pointless. If you are using non recreationl' mixes so anything higher than 40% your equipment has to be o2 cleaned, but that includes your regulator and cylinder as well as all o-rings.
🚀 Reinforce your understanding. 🚀

Top notch video as always. I know you said the sidemount series didn't get as much traction as you wanted, but I really appreciate you making them.
@@PIERCINGSbyCODY Thanks! Yup, we keep on plugging away ;)
I never thought about using a o-ring AND a zip tie to attach my bolt snap to my rig. Thank you for showing a different way of doing something.

I said the same thing, I love these video's.

@MetallicReg Thanks and glad you liked it!

Another banger video! Im pretty sure i got that o-ring break away tip from one of your previous videos.
Awesome! Thank you!
❤❤❤
Another excellent and informative video.
What type of grease should be used for the O ring lubricant?

Great video, but you should really use two wrenches when you are tightening the nut onto the second stage and SPG.
We intentionally take a different approach because using only one wrench helps prevent overtightening, which could and will otherwise damage the O-ring and cause leaks. You can effectively use one wrench without any problems.
@@flowstatedivers It is easier to overtightening (doing damage) with one wrench than two. Especially on the second stage.
