I think given that Hitler and the Nazis looked to the Jim Crow South for inspiration on how to conduct racial discrimination and genocide correctly, it’s safe to say not only was the US fascist before it became trendy… ‘fascism’ was and is just a manifestation what the US/European colonialism-capitalism-imperialism has always been.
And United States look to Hitler how to segregate and track unvaccinated Americans during Covid. They also use the same propaganda on NBC that Joseph Gobboels used against the unvaxxed
Once you understand, the similarities between Covid and Nazi germany. The rabbit hole is endless. For example, the vaccine mandates were very similar to how Hitler came to power in 1933 and figured out who’s going to be loyal to him.
And this is how I know I’m correct because RUclips is a little bitch and they keep censoring my comments. And anybody who is against freedom speech I have zero respect for so stop censoring my comments RUclips.
So I said this before, and I got taken down twice, but the similarities between the pandemic of 2020 and Nazi Germany are very similar. 1933 and the VAX mandates and how Hitler figured out who’s gonna be loyal to him or extremely similar
I’m German, when I tell people around me that the denazification of Germany was not effective, they argue against it although many haven’t thought about it at all. And then Germany is policing pro Palestinian discourse in the name of fighting antisemitism, literal insanity. All this to agree with your point that fascism is repeatedly ‘rebranding’ itself
I'm with you. In my opinion, Germany was never properly denazified and they never properly apologized for what they did, because the Red Scare was seen as a bigger threat by the West (mainly the US). But now it is very clear that fascism never really left. And you can see it slowly rising throughout western Europe. The future is bleak...
Once Jewish people received their white citizenship papers, Germany became anti-antisemitic ostensibly because they were the architects of the genocide. You couldn't care less about the genocide of Namibians. They were black.
It's fucked up because the German state, meaning the elected officials who make policy, are so paranoid about being perceived as antisemitic that they're literally being Nazis about protesting against Israel. Seeing German Jews arrested by German cops for protesting against genocide was fucking insane. How do they not see it?! 😮
“Prudence indeed…hath shewn that men are more willing to suffer where evils are sufferable, than to right themselves the wrongs that have been committed by abolishing the forms to which they have become accustomed.” The declaration if independence usa
Why would it make certain people uncomfortable? Right wing alternative media has been saying this for years. People like Alex Jones, David Icke The problem is is that fascism now has been bastardized in liberal colleges to just include right wing government to say Donald Trump is fascist is correct but during his first president presidency, he really wasn’t that fascist until Operatin WS which was fascist as fuck. During his next presidency, you’re gonna see a wall being built. Not out of construction material but a digital wall. Because Trump is a big tech puppet And you’re going to see digital IDs being handed out to everybody just like the vaccine passport Bootlickers thought it was to use a QR code while going into a restaurant when unvaccinated people couldn’t. Just wait till they implement digital currency where you have to be a bootlicker to use the system
@@PrinceShakurRUclips you have a very good video but I would complain to RUclips because I’ve put several comments towards your video and they’re being censored
And I think you need to rectify that fascism is not just right wing. It can be left wing as well. It’s not steadfast to any side of the polity call spectrum
And I think you need to rectify that fascism is not just right wing. It can be left wing as well. It’s not steadfast to any side of the policall spectrum
I was homeless for ten years and the states charged me well over 6000$ for crimes of poverty ie not having car insurance, camping but its called trespassing, and liscensce suspension when i never even knew i had court.
You make a good point. I always told ppl the lower class has it worse than the middle class. And it's true when you are poor you could end up paying more to live
Not could it's pretty much a guarantee. If your sick and miss work you need a doctors note but if if your insurance isn't great that can easily end up costing as much as you would make in that shift. Public transport is garbage in most places in the us so in some areas especially rural you are almost required to have a vehicle in order to get to any jobs that make any kind of decent money and often you won't be able to afford repairs as they are needed. Since that is the case often you end up putting off repairs until things like tax season where you might have some disposable money but the damage done while operating the vehicle under that sate usually causes more damage making the repair cost even higher, If your in a financial bind and need a loan chances are a bank won't loan you the money so you're stuck with title loans and payday loans who's interest rates are obscene. You can't afford insurance or car registration that's a fine. Heck most of the fines that the states and cities use for funding are dependant on people not being able to afford something in the first place. Vagrancy is another fine, not able to pay that fine you go to jail that you have to pay for your stay there. can't afford that back to jail you go. pretty much any way they can tax poverty it is probably being done in the us.
@@battlecat3792 Another example is the boots economic theory, it's when the wealthier people have the privilege to access high quality items which don't break, such as boots whereas poorer people have to choose between those items and getting food, leading to increased expenses as they also need to pay for the things that adapt it that they wouldn't have if they had the luxury to buy the more expensive item.
It’s actually sick how much they tax poor people. If I tell you, I can’t pay some thing and you actively are reaching out to me telling me I have to pay something. I’m confused.
Something I MUST add, is not only how the US is fascist to all, but how disability is treated. During natural disasters especially, disabled people are often not saved and are left to die. Disabled people are second class citizens, forced into poverty, and often not allowed in jobs or schools. And disability justice is a key part of anti fascism, as long as one group is oppressed, there is a cracked open door ready to open and spread that oppression to others.
I started crying when I saw your tears towards the end of your video. What a sick society we live in, where we bear witness to crimes against humanity on a daily basis and are expected to go along with our day like everything is fine. I hate it here. Thank you for the work you do. Your voice is very much needed as an oasis of sanity and humanity in our cruel reality. ❤
We are expected to go cote for 2 evils in return, getting rewarded with total disdain. In fact, they don't think they should work for your vote, no primary, no real debate. We need to be brave enough to pick someone else
As a non American, who is South of your border Kamala talking about having the most lethal military was super scary, because it's happening at the same time Venezuela was just threatening invasion to another country, their elections were crazy and unresolved, half of my country is on fire to the point that if it rains in my state we will have black rain because of the ash, and we have 60% of the Amazon, to non Americans seems like a lose - lose situation because regardless of who wins the policy is the same.
Please find out what Elon Musk has been trying to do in the Amazon since Bolsanaro was in power. He also tried to use his satellites to influence the election in Venezuela! Musk has given millions to Trump's election campaign and he is pro Israel!
As a US American I am so fucking sorry! I truly belief the US is one of, if not, the most evil societies on earth. You don’t deserve any of that, nobody does ever. It definitely feels like no choice in our “elections” here and I can only imagine how upsetting and scary it is to be more directly affected by US gov actions and military. I promise there are people trying to undo and rebuild the US, me included, trying to make new political parties, and new societal goals based on humanity, intersectionality, nature, and generational survival. People ready to build mutual aid and revolt without the lives of the most marginalized as the cost. Please, stay alive. We need more stories like yours to be loud, to be heard, and to call out the US empire.
@@PrinceShakurRUclips I do think it's more of a complex argument than just saying it's irresponsible to meme about things as serious as politics. Like yes, we all need to check ourselves and not get carried away. And we should always remember a politician is a politician, you aren't supposed to like them. But gen z truly does communicate ideas and start movements through internet culture and things like memes. For instance as ridiculous as it was, I don't think the 'coconut memes' we saw about Harris were all that problematic. I think the majority of the people making those edits were well aware of Harris' issues as a politician, but were using the medium to communicate how badly they wanted a different democratic candidate. Imo there's a generational turnover happening right now. And gen z legitimately communicate serious ideas using memes. It's also interesting to consider how social media affects the age at which gen z has been exposed to politics. My reading of the situation is you're seeing things like the 'memeification' of politics because younger, perhaps less refined?, voices are being heard more.
If this reaches anyone, please donate food and clothes and bus passes to the most homeless dense areas in your city. The last of the COVID era protections are coming to an end Sept 30 and they will lose hundreds of shelter beds, no more homeless hotel vouchers, slower permanent supportive housing vouchers, less clothing, bus passes, work programs, and clinical medical services for those who have none. I work in social services for the homeless and it’s getting worse. Phoenix is having hundreds of heat deaths in spite of heat respite shelters (no beds but seats in ac.) please volunteer, donate season appropriate clothing, give food and water, give bus passes. Please help these people in your city. The state is squeezing the faucet of resources down. 🙏
Def will be trying to do more, I have to figure out what people in my area need, but something needs to be done, especially with harsh winter coming up.
If anyone cares, I'd like to provide a personal anecdote. In 2012, I was a freshman at college. I was new to drinking, obviously, and all my friends had left me behind. I was sprawled in a pile of my own vomit. Hundreds of students walked past and didn't do anything. Prince is the one who stopped and called an ambulance for me. If anyone is qualified to point out fascism in the U.S., it's him. He is not a bystander. He's a good person. I could have died if it weren't for him. Democracy could die if it weren't for people like him sounding the alarm [edit- if if was ever alive in amerikkka to begin with]. Thank you, Prince. I was always too ashamed to say thank you to your face, but I will thank you until the day God takes me from this earth.
Also- thank you for taking photos of me that one time. You showed me what I COULD look like to a black lens, vs a white lens. It was amazing and it changed my entire perspective on myself as a human. Thank you for being you, Prince. I'm not the only person you've touched so much just by being yourself, I'm just a very vocal one. lol.
@@PrinceShakurRUclips 😊😊💓 you too! I remember finding you on insta a while ago and just quietly admiring how much you've done!! You're a great writer :)
As someone who crossed the border as a child "illegally" and is now a US citizen, I always tell people: It's easy to say America is not fascist when you're not the target. The system isn't broken, the fascist system is working perfectly for all the right people. If it's not working for you then that tells you where you stand in the system, but the propaganda is too strong and most people believe the lie that we can change the system from within.
So you illegally broke into a fascist state? Yeah, that makes zero sense. I know you desperately want to be a victim because it’s trendy, but you’re not. You’re just a lazy loser who doesn’t want to take accountability for themselves. You’re also a criminal.
This channel has been a breath of fresh air and intellectual clarity amid the banality, un-truth, and horror we are living. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart
Thanks for talking about the unhoused. People don't think about how local governments are in some ways more fascist. The land court, building committee, town manager etc., everything is all but open about the fact that they DO NOT WANT LOWER CLASS PEOPLE IN TOWN. In fact, I'd say this is the main purpose of these local institutions. Rich places use lawfare to exclude middle class people, middle class places exclude working class people, etc. Tiny houses are a great solution to the housing shortage, but they are positively and specifically OUTLAWED in the vast majority of towns and cities! Actually, I'm not sure it's fascist, because it's all about greed, in the former of home values (not that most people plan to sell, but they've been encouraged to put all their wealth into their home, and think only about market prices)
Right?! It’s all roadblocked. Anything productive, beneficial. I would say it’s super fascist. And yes for greed! They for sure make MoRE money with homeless remaining homeless, and recidivism when they may happen to get off the streets.
I worked for the parks department of my very blue collar town taking phone calls. I got a call once from a guy reporting a homeless man’s tent saying “i thought id let yall know so you can remove him”. I didn’t report the call. I’m sure as hell not going to be the reason a man with nothing left gets metaphorically kicked in the ass again.
Man, I also cried when you talked about how we all deserve so much better. It's so sad watching all these folks not only accept but champion the toilet water we're being asked to drink when we know a better world is so eminently possible.
It’s the tragedy of the current society we live in. We’re still made to eat shit just so that we don’t have to eat the even worse even more putrid shit.
Literally. I want the solar punk world ideas I keep seeing. Disability access, equity, nature and technological blends in a safe way, more community and time with loved ones. Etc.
As a Muslim American who is FLABBERGASTED by how quick people switched over to support kamala when her candidacy was announced, I am truly grateful for this video. We deserve better and it’s sad that it needs explanation
I’m black and Muslim and I grew up with a lot of Palestinians and so it’s so weird to me when people don’t understand the solidarity that I have with Palestinians is something that I have been doing my whole life and no one can change that.
I'm voting for Kamala but that doesn't mean I don't want 200% pressure when it comes to Palestine, whether that's in the form of demonstrations, protests, political pressure, etc. The Kamala presidency will provide a way for people to make demands and the same can not be said about trump. We are not voting for a saviour, we are voting for the ground on which we will continue to fight the next four years b
First they came for the Palestinians, then they came for the Syrians, after that they came for the Lebanese, then they came for you. Wake up America, first Amendment matters.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the book “The Secure and the Dispossessed - how the military and corporations are shaping a climate-changed world”. I’ve found it really interesting esp in considering how so many young organizers cite hurricane Katrina, dapl, cop city as formative moments
That’s exactly what the climate change agenda is all about. fascism. It’s big corporations controlling the state to gain more and more control. More control of our food, more control of our transportation, more police state, track, and trace, carbon taxes. And here’s the thing the Science is certainly not settled. I know one thing I ain’t giving up fucking steak or my car.
I think the US has always been fascist. We didn't even fight the war against Nazi's to save the Jews, we only did it because we where attacked. Before that, we where just selling guns to the highest bidder so we could get richer. We benifited from the fighting, and didn't step in until it affected us. We have our own history of slavery, genocide, concentration camps, and war crimes. We just aren't tought these things in school. We need to make our country better, because it wasn't great in the first place. We have already won to be able to vote, we have won laws to protect against discrimination. Celebrate our successes, and continue forward. Because we have a lot more to do.
That’s just how movements go tho. They gain momentum. I think we are at a very critical point. We need to be as organized as we can be in these tumultuous times. 💚
Omg. When Lucretia said “we’re in an abusive relationship with the American government” my eyes almost left my head. I’ve been saying that exact thing for a while now and I was doing research to try to see if it’s already been dug into by organizers or radical mental health professionals and I can’t find anything.
THIS! SAME! The US gov is literally an abuser of us all. I bet post Us empire this will be in MANY psychology books for therapists dealing with Us PTSD.
Have you read any of Franz Fanon’s work? He wrote a lot about the psychological effects of colonialism. I feel as if some contemporary work that cites him could have what you’re looking for. You might be able to find something on Google Scholar by searching for articles in psychology or philosophy that reference both Fanon and the U.S.
So glad I found your channel! This really reminds me of something I wrote in philosophy of war class this past summer about the Noam Chomsky quote where he basically states that every president post WWII could credibly be tried for war crimes by the ICC. Chomsky isn’t stating that every president post WWII is coincidentally a “bad person” fundamentally, but that the actions of every US president post World War II must be in line with holding the US’s hegemonic power over the rest of the world. It’s not that each one of them is supremely evil but that the power and expectations of the US president when it comes to foreign relations must be to prop up the country in order to maintain its position on the global stage. I think that this idea is key to understanding our two party system and understanding that neither party is “progressive” they both cater to imperialist ambition and, post WWII, MUST continue this pattern as it is the status quo. You explained this really well. Awesome video
Three dimensions of fascism historically that get overlooked: how an ostensibly anti liberal ideology mobilized the symbols of the authoritarian liberal state, from napoleon onwards. 2) the historical liberal to fascist pipeline (ie, influential liberal or even socialist bourgeois and statesmen that made a literal fascist turn, from mussolini to trump and musk), 3) that liberalism from its inception in the late 18th and 19th centuries was almost always an elitist, authoritarian school of political thought and praxis, and until the arrival of Bismarck, almost unilaterally opposed to the democratization of society, whether through opposition to granting suffrage to the poor and colonized, or to the labor movements which sought to democratize the economy
You forgot the main course of fascism. And that is the merger of corporations and the state to make laws and rules together with an authoritarian twist. Not listening to the people. so think Covid rules with the Democrats merging with big Pharma
In fact, you don’t even mention anything but corporations merging with the state. You can’t start off fascism without that. And your point of view about fascism is that its right wing fascism has elements of every political ideology across the spectrum. I think you need to broaden your horizons and taking more information to fully understand what fascism is. You have some points but it’s not complete and doesn’t cover all the bases of what fascism is and really could be
@@cpersiani4466no it doesn’t. Fascism doesn’t have political views from all over the spectrum. Fascism is strictly right wing. The most well known example of a fascist state is Nazi Germany which is a capitalist country. Also you’re insane if you think that covid rules are authoritarian.
@@Arabmarxistt and of course, the Covid rules were authoritarian you have no credibility. Put it this way if I was ever in front of you and you told me to wear a mask I would laugh right in your face and you would do nothing about it.
I know that it’s not popular to say, but there’s a correlation between this country’s extreme discomfort with sex and relationships and relative comfort with violence that plays out in the policies that outcomes that we see both at home and abroad. I see the direct derivation from slave masters and the manor in which they exercised power and control over people in many of these laws and customs. You largely see the inverse in Western European countries where people are pretty much the opposite, and they have much lower levels of violence.
Definitely, it all goes back to settler colonialism. The early euro settlers had very stiflling ideas around gender and sex, and it was one of the reasons for animosity with natives whom often but not always had very different fluid and open experiences with sexuality and gender norms. Ofc the euro settlers also brought chattel slavery, rampant militaristism which brought near total genocide and annihilation of native peoples and their worlds, industrial economy etc
You don't know how many people I have gotten into arguments with because I called the United States a fascist nation, or the Democratic party's actions as fascistic. I use terms like 'systemic fascism', and I point out how the US government on a global scale is overtly fascist, especially outside the imperial core nations. Inside the US imperial core, the fascism is covert, ingrained in our systems. Fascism is not stagnant, it has evolved. These frames of critical thought isn't new for Black radicals like you and I. We are just rediscovering, and organizing these thoughts..which have already been pointed out by our own. Keep up the good work, it's crucial that we educate many people and shift their perspectives on what fascism is and what it looks like in various forms.
There is a papers published by Cambridge University Press in 2014 titled "Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens" - This goes into some incredible breakdowns regarding income, the levers of power, and politics. An incredibly abridged summary of the paper's findings. 1.) The influence of ordinary Americans registers at a “non-significant, near-zero level.” 2.) Laws are universally passed to entrench the power of those who can buy laws (Plutocracy/Oligarchy.) 3.) Policy preferences of business and the rich absolutely DO NOT reflect the views of common citizens. 4.) When laws are written in the way they commonly are in the US, the rich win, everyone else living here loses. The worst part is - every last one of those problems also applies wholesale to the UK.
Manifest destiny, and its evolution and development as a colonial ideology in Canada and Australia directly influenced the fascist colonisation of Ethiopia and Libya where the Nazis did training camps on how to enact the Holocaust. This ideology didn't pause in the US and just stay at it.
Thank you for your analysis, words, and embodiment of those words. I find so much realistic hope oddly enough in your videos just simply because you are coming from a place of creation and showing what coming from a place of creation and love looks like.
To US comrades and people on the left, in general. You don't have a left-wing and a right-wing party that you can choose. You have a right-wing party and an alt-right party. We need to end capitalism, and that won't happen in any elections. But continue voting as a palliative for the current situation. Venceremos (we will win).
Thank you SO. MUCH. I've known this for a while, but it can be hard to articulate and I'm too sensitive to suicidal ideation to do my own research 😂 Looking forward to listening closely and taking notes 👍🏾💕
Nah, it's time to stop believing that voting for the "lesser evil" is enough to make serious change in this country. They called Biden the "lesser evil" in 2020, look where that got us. I hope this is the last year everyone just votes blue and calls crisis averted.
I literally get people daily on facebook (I'm old) yelling at me for "complaining with no solution" and reminding them that the US doesn't deserve to even continue and you can't just fucking discuss the end of an empire online like that.
In same boat…. I also think that with the constant surveillance of social media there is a chilling effect on speaking of strategies beyond voting for one of two right wing candidates. I got a lot of pushback in 2016 for posting on my personal FB that the US is not great and has never been great. Although more people agree openly almost 10 years later, few want to talk about how the veneer of electoral democracy is collapsing around us… and how nothing really works for the citizens of this country: infrastructure, healthcare, food, housing, education… it is all fundamentally broken (by design) at this point and there is no desire by either political party to improve any of this. Sorry for rambling. Hard agree with what you wrote.
im still on the ads but all the education ive had on the USA, it doesnt take much more than the title to make me agree with your statement. im still incredibly glad that you are making such a statement a lot of people are not willing to accept. “this election is between democracy and fascism”. uh dude, its been fascist since 1776 and before
@@mightymeatymech yeah he seems great! I'm happy to see people that are real abolitionists giving advice on action we can take. I'm surprised the algorithm took so long considering I've been interested in these subject for long 😭
While I think it’s super valid to feel unsafe talking about revolution I do think we need to find a way to guide people to local connections and revolutionary leaders. It’s my opinion that just saying it’s too dangerous to talk about contributes to fear that scares people from actually getting involved seriously in person. It is a form of self censorship I find extremely frustrating, and I think that’s also valid! These are just my thoughts and feelings about the subject, not an attack on anyone!
My girlfriend has struggled as a disabled woman to get involved in local revolutionary politics because CERTAIN organizations require dues (i understand that resources are necessary, but if it bars low or no income ppl from organizing, i find it ridiculous). We are sort of at a loss for where to go from here. I know revolutionary leftist organizing must be active somehow in our area, but it is hard to find while living a busy life.
Today I drove past a 400x300ft US flag, after listening to my mom talk about her Trump supporter friend, and while thinking of how Kamala is just another face of fascism, and my stomach sank... I really want things to change, or for leftists to all move into the same general area and do our work building a society together
UNTIL we ELECT people, who: LIVE AROUND us, WORK Real Jobs, Use Public Transport or are Farmers & Skilled Trades people or Teachers, etc…., or BEEN HOMELESS, etc….. , we GET SAME OLD B.S. !
RUclips's algorithm led me here. This discussion has confirmed what I had strongly suspected for a very long time, decades, in fact. I've been saying that the US is fascist for pretty much the same reasons you've discussed. The way the US treated Native Americans in the late 19th century greatly inspired Hitler in how he built his concentration camps. There hasn't been a true left in this country for the past 100 years. We've been moving further and further over to the extreme right for decades where Ronald Reagan looks like a radical leftist in comparison to today's standards. This is how far right the Democrats have moved. Biden has elevated the US Empire Mega-War Machine to entirely new levels in the past 3 years.
Excellent video essay, Sweet Black Prince. Liked & subscribed. It's always a breath of fresh air when I hear others describing the same thing i see. Also, thank you for the intro to Lucretia McEvil. Her analogy is brilliant. One dimension to our current world that rarely gets mentioned by anyone, even my fellow leftists, is the role scientists and engineers play in the fascism. The DoD employs nearly 300,000 scientists, engineers, technicians, and mathematicians. Over a quarter of all physical scientists in the government work for the DoD. These are the people creating the weapons and technologies supporting the overall mission of the DoD that is ultimately steering the world into death. And above these scientists, which could be perfectly well-meaning people, there is always going to be a high-ranked bureaucrat who may not even be a scientist. That is a dimension of the story I'm interested in, because I believe it has unforeseen, often unintended downwind effects on our entire society.
The Fascist State / Abuser analogy is SO GOOD! It’s such a poignant and way to answer “why does nothing ever change?” And evokes similar emotions to the overwhelming dread of living in an oppressive state. This is the first time I’ve had one of your videos pop up in my feed and it was an instant subscribe for me! I think simple rhetorical tools like the ones this video provides are so important for reaching people and de-colonizing their frameworks; please keep up the stellar work ♥️
As an Italian, I agree. Btw, both fascist Italy and the USA looked at the Roman Empire as a model. The Roman Empire in many ways started this mess. That is why people like Musk, Republicans and neofascists are OBSESSED with The Roman Empire. Musk is even friends with Meloni and building a mansion in Italy. It's a nightmare.
I fucking love the segment with Sam! You're amazing, I hope you have a channel or something. You lay things out well and concisely and I really appreciate that.
I don't think states are inherently fascist, but the US state is definitely fascist. Every liberal state is susceptible to going fascist because fascism is how rich people maintain control during economic unrest. If America had a communist revolution, the new state wouldn't be fascist unless it collapsed. You have really phenomenal energy, and I wish I had found your channel sooner.
How are we measuring fascism then? Is authoritarianism acceptable so long as it isn´t fascist? how would a communist revolution work when the majority of americans are middle class, and would have been executed for that under communist systems like the ussr?
@@MargaretBurmingham-qm5dx 4chan troll that just made their account 4 months ago spamming replies defending nazism and the US's imperial regime? Not surprising!

thanks a lot for this video. I had been seeing a lot of political 'commentators' referring to trump as a fascist and never providing any clear analysis of why or how. and i had never seen the same be said about Kamala, the DNC or america in general, so this video was incredibly insightful on how wide the net of facism actually captures not only america's actions (almost since its inception with the stat you pulled on the history of military operations) but a number of former colonial powers may also fall under this banner. the leg work you must have had to go through to make this video is very much appreciated.
My algorithm gave me something good for once! From a more marxist perspective, I understand that economically speaking the US is fascist. I've never really been able to conceptualize the more superstructural elements of fascism in America and I learned a lot from this video.
Sent here by Lucretia McEvil and 1000% here for this, especially as an Atlantan (RIP Tortuguita) In my mind the worst structural element is the strict hegemonic control such that we only really have two options for leadership of the country. And the military-congressional-industrial-complex candidate who supports the carceral system unquestioningly and wants to use the power of the state to influence international politics, we have to say the one who supports a few small limits is the "good" candidate and soothe our upset in their embrace when they're a major part of the structure that's devastating us. Feeling like we can only truly sell support from those who've harmed us is Fucked Up.
i'm finding this while i'm currently Reading J. Sakai's book 'Settlers: the Mythology of the White "Proletariat"' and it's waking me up to the U$ Class dynamics(as a Euro-Amerikan) and realizing that yes this Nation was founded on Slavery and Settler colonialism to a Greater extent than i had ever realized. This will be interesting to what you have to say.
Thank you for your insightful articulation & making me feel like I am not from another planet. You have confirmed my own feelings of sadness, anger & frustration with this insanity we are living under. Thank you for not drinking the Kool aid.
Fantastic video. It is highly critical that we understand this system is only allowed to persist for as long as we don’t recognize the necessary mechanisms of organization outside of electoralism. The frustration, the anguish, and the desperation are human. The hope, the determination, and the belief in a better world is human, too.
I don’t think ‘the state’ is only fascist. I think ‘the state’ is oppressive and enables and equips liberalism and fascism. As students of the peoples history, I think our experiences with the government are a hodgepodge of fascism and liberalism. The U.S. is a settler colonial state so it’ll use any dogma to reinforce our oppression.
Yes . I was totally disappointed that the Gaza activists were given zero stage time!Yes they paraded out everyone else! The opportunity to educate by simply giving voice to the diversity of views . Amplify one and all!
As if your points weren’t concise enough; a state anywhere, in and of itself, is fascistic. You cannot have an outlined body, a “strong” militaristic force, and “class” based hierarchy and not be fascist. The police will always back the state and never broader social interest. The border automatically induces a hierarchical process and standard of “becoming a citizen vs ‘natural’ citizens”. You cannot have classes where an upper group can dictate the environment of the one’s bellow it and not be fascistic. Beautiful video brother. This year has shown who’s a leftist and who’s an enforcer of the status quo.
This video hit me so hard. I am standing on this edge wondering where to go to get the country I grew up in to do the right thing and stop what they are doing.
Interestingly enough I am in class and have to talk about "Represent and Destroy" a book that talks about how racism was hidden in things like liberalism (neo liberalism, liberal multiculturalism, and racial liberalism specifically) and I feel like the book is in a ways talking about some of the things that you point out in this video. What are they the Dems going to promise so that they can keep us on the hook while just using that promise as a cover for what they actually plan on doing. In the book we the author points out that there was this thought process that racism was gone after a certain point because of the hiding mechanics of those liberalisms I mentioned. It seems like the political parties are just really good at play this poker game with us of making us all think that we are getting something we want or need only to be left wondering why we are now homeless and starving. I really hope this makes sense.
What you're saying does make sense. And I think it's all of our responsibility to synthesize individually and collectively on ways to the world forward consciously
This video single-handedly informed me of the exact context I NEEDED to hear before voting. Thank you, thank you a million times for making this. I’m curious to know now…how do we go about this election? How do we go about radicalizing the moderate youth? How does not voting for either party move us forward? I want to help, and make change in my community but everyone seems to be in compliance with either side of the spectrum. The majority of American people have lost all hope of a revolution, and revolutionaries. I know you won’t have all the answers for me, and it’s ultimately a collaborative effort, but I guess my question is if not Kamala then who? Excuse my ignorance and I hope you can understand my question. Or at least start an informed discussion about it. Keep doing you!! Thanks again from NY 🤙🏻
I bring up Tortuguita all the time. He was straight up murdered and his murder was sloppily covered up. If that happened in Russia, Americans would have never stopped talking about it it, but when it happens here people have no issue immediately moving past it.
Sorry but I have to vote for Jill Stein. After AOC insulted them, and watching that Breakfast Club interview, I officially switched affiliation from Democrat to Green ✅
I’m with Stein and Ware because of their stance on Palestine. They’re real people, not representing the elite. Also, out of Kamala’s mouth, “Israel has the right to defend itself.” I can’t vote for more of that at all. 💔💔💔
We all need to learn to vote any pafty but the two offered. Idt most americans really fit in either party anymore. Both are starting to lean too far .... i think we are def experiencing a party change. It happened in the past and will happen again.
@@ellanina801 Please go listen to Jill Stein talk about Russia and it's invasion of Ukraine. She has no principles, she is just a Russian plot to destroy the unity of the left.
Dude why, she had dinner with Putin and wouldn't denounce him in an interview with Medhi I believe. She is literally just a Russian shill dude, she has no idea how many people are in the house of representatives either which is laughable considering she's running for president. You are being conned and yes I hate Kamala but the alternative to Kamala is full on fascism and christo fascism at that with trump
You know I have been seeing this video on my feed for a while. And it’s funny because I was listening to an old Micheal Parenti speech several months ago and had this realization but I shoved it to the back of my mind. I couldn’t quite put it all into words and like the victim of abuse I wanted to think this time it’ll be better. But it never really does.
Covid and Nazi Germany were very similar. Same propaganda, medical experiments, segregating the unwaxed

So I said this before, and I got taken down twice, but the similarities between the pandemic of 2020 and Nazi Germany are very similar. 1933 and the VAX mandates and how Hitler figured out who’s gonna be loyal to him or extremely similar
“I speak as a victim of America's so-called democracy. You and I have never seen democracy - all we've seen is hypocrisy.” Malcolm X
Damn that H-I-T..💔
Damn, still so true. I can’t speak on the black experience, I’m not black, but I can certainly say it’s true for disabled Americans as well.
Sooooooooo true….. MALCOHN hello
LOVE Malcolm X. I wish white people didn't demonize him so much and learned from him.

truly, power concedes nothing without a demand, and demands can't be made unless we all try to accurately assess the situation for ourselves
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
It’s actually sick how much they tax poor people. If I tell you, I can’t pay some thing and you actively are reaching out to me telling me I have to pay something. I’m confused.
Something I MUST add, is not only how the US is fascist to all, but how disability is treated. During natural disasters especially, disabled people are often not saved and are left to die. Disabled people are second class citizens, forced into poverty, and often not allowed in jobs or schools. And disability justice is a key part of anti fascism, as long as one group is oppressed, there is a cracked open door ready to open and spread that oppression to others.
This is so important because it just takes one slip up or one specifically bad day for anyone to become disabled. It shouldn't be a death sentence.
I started crying when I saw your tears towards the end of your video. What a sick society we live in, where we bear witness to crimes against humanity on a daily basis and are expected to go along with our day like everything is fine. I hate it here.

Truly truly..that's legit what my video next week is about - the memeification of US politics

Actually, I'm not sure it's fascist, because it's all about greed, in the former of home values (not that most people plan to sell, but they've been encouraged to put all their wealth into their home, and think only about market prices)
yes yes yes to all of that. i want to definetely do another video down the road about housing as a human right
I think the US has always been fascist. We didn't even fight the war against Nazi's to save the Jews, we only did it because we where attacked.
Before that, we where just selling guns to the highest bidder so we could get richer. We benifited from the fighting, and didn't step in until it affected us.

Thank you for your analysis, words, and embodiment of those words. I find so much realistic hope oddly enough in your videos just simply because you are coming from a place of creation and showing what coming from a place of creation and love looks like.
You should be getting way more views
To US comrades and people on the left, in general. You don't have a left-wing and a right-wing party that you can choose. You have a right-wing party and an alt-right party. We need to end capitalism, and that won't happen in any elections. But continue voting as a palliative for the current situation.
Venceremos (we will win).
What's your solution to capitalism?
Socialism sure ain't the answer.
@@ricksgiggle8852 what a good little puppet you are.
Thank you SO. MUCH. I've known this for a while, but it can be hard to articulate and I'm too sensitive to suicidal ideation to do my own research 😂 Looking forward to listening closely and taking notes 👍🏾💕
We might not have any good candidates but we still have to vote for the better of two. Drumpf is really bad.
Sure, but voting won’t be enough
Nah, it's time to stop believing that voting for the "lesser evil" is enough to make serious change in this country. They called Biden the "lesser evil" in 2020, look where that got us. I hope this is the last year everyone just votes blue and calls crisis averted.
I don't have to do anything I'm voting green
RUclips gifted me with this vid
this title and this first few minutes is an instant subscription for me ❤
thank you for watching and caring!
Happened on this video as I'm finishing the book Democracy Incorporated. If you like this video like I did, I'd recommend that book
I literally get people daily on facebook (I'm old) yelling at me for "complaining with no solution" and reminding them that the US doesn't deserve to even continue and you can't just fucking discuss the end of an empire online like that.
Yeah, exactly. And if they want solutions so bad, tell them to make some up and spread it. Instead of making you do all the labour.
“this election is between democracy and fascism”. uh dude, its been fascist since 1776 and before
It's only 5 minutes in and I just found your channel but already I find you inspiring
he is a good person, all the way through and through. I'm glad his channel found you through the algorithim!
I know revolutionary leftist organizing must be active somehow in our area, but it is hard to find while living a busy life.
you're so articulate, thank you for putting everything in manageable and understandable bites for everyone watching.
With gratitude
You're so welcome!
Innovating fascism …and its multiple faces. It’s important to realize how fascism changes in historical times and places.
EXACTLY!
This video had me in tears. My ancestors died for me to have choices and all we’ve gotten is continued violence. Whew
The fascists did win ww2.
Greenwood district, Tulsa Oklahoma never forget.
I think simple rhetorical tools like the ones this video provides are so important for reaching people and de-colonizing their frameworks; please keep up the stellar work ♥️
Thank you, this will be a video i come back to to watch multiple times.
Mousollini defined fascism, and yes the US state constitutes a Fascist State.
No it doesn’t 😂
As an Italian, I agree. Btw, both fascist Italy and the USA looked at the Roman Empire as a model. The Roman Empire in many ways started this mess. That is why people like Musk, Republicans and neofascists are OBSESSED with The Roman Empire. Musk is even friends with Meloni and building a mansion in Italy. It's a nightmare.
Sorry, it's Mussolini btw.
Excellent video! Like, terribly sad + scary, but overall so inspiring/validating. So glad to have found your channel!
I fucking love the segment with Sam! You're amazing, I hope you have a channel or something. You lay things out well and concisely and I really appreciate that.
they are a dear comrade! glad you enjoyed what they said. just let them know someone appreciate their words
Two of my favorite creators in one video ❤️ keep up the good work and rest when y’all need to^^
Thank you! Will do!
I am not American. But I live here. In the US, the term "democrat" has a different meaning. It's a clever trick, and amazing how the vast majority of people don't see it or understand it. And if you try to explain that to them, they might hurt you.
As an elder, I’m so proud of your research skills Prince and the truth you’re sharing with your peers. 👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾I pray it it leads to further exodus from the 2Party trap & building a new one where all of you can thrive.
Why the hell has YT not shown me your channel yet? Subbed immediately
thanks a lot for this video.
This has nothing to do with Fascism whatsoever though.
@@peanutbutter-t9j : I certainly do.
It's interesting how much the far left and the far right in common yet are so completely different different.
My algorithm gave me something good for once!
From a more marxist perspective, I understand that economically speaking the US is fascist.
I've never really been able to conceptualize the more superstructural elements of fascism in America and I learned a lot from this video.
You’re amazing. PLEASE don’t lose your humanity.
Sent here by Lucretia McEvil and 1000% here for this, especially as an Atlantan (RIP Tortuguita)
In my mind the worst structural element is the strict hegemonic control such that we only really have two options for leadership of the country.
Been facist from jump!! Supports facist from inception!! 100%!!

This is excellent. Thank you for putting this together. Great work 💪
❤great convo! No tokens! Let’s talk about it!
Fantastic video. It is highly critical that we understand this system is only allowed to persist for as long as we don’t recognize the necessary mechanisms of organization outside of electoralism. The frustration, the anguish, and the desperation are human. The hope, the determination, and the belief in a better world is human, too.
it’s wild how nazism lived on in the hearts of americans. and the wallets. and the science labs.. and the
I don’t think ‘the state’ is only fascist. I think ‘the state’ is oppressive and enables and equips liberalism and fascism. As students of the peoples history, I think our experiences with the government are a hodgepodge of fascism and liberalism. The U.S. is a settler colonial state so it’ll use any dogma to reinforce our oppression.
Nothing to do with Fascism.
It always was. The symbolism is everywhere.
Been in an abusive relationship, that analogy was eye-opening.
Yes . I was totally disappointed that the Gaza activists were given zero stage time!Yes they paraded out everyone else! The opportunity to educate by simply giving voice to the diversity of views . Amplify one and all!
Not me rewatching this again to glean more serotonin.

And I think it's all of our responsibility to synthesize individually and collectively on ways to the world forward consciously
initially had my doubts BUT!...........damn excellent video! BRAVO! B!👊🏾😡
appreciate you watching
Thanks again from NY 🤙🏻
fk yes! 100% . feelin it right w you my friend! from the jam at open. to the spill over at the end. 👊💚
thank you for watching
And this last year watching the genocide unfold and aided by our government full throated has made things untenable 😢 Great video ! Ty.
What you said about why we resist ✊🏿💯🏆💚
