Let say the Minister of Education's term is up, all those that want the job advertise their policy, the benefits, the costs & time required to implement that policy. We the voters then select the policy we want implemented & elect that person as the Minister of Education for the duration of the time to implement that policy with quarterly reports required on their progress. If they are failing to meet their policy targets the voters get to decide if we scrap that policy or replace the minister. Once a policy is implemented it can't be removed unless we vote it out.

You're kind of arguing that the color magenta is not purple, by arguing you are not a democracy. That is why I have been telling anyone that will listen it is past time we voted for 'Parties' & instead voted for 'Ministers'. Let say the Minister of Education's term is up, all those that want the job advertise their policy, the benefits, the costs & time required to implement that policy. We the voters then select the policy we want implemented & elect that person as the Minister of Education for the duration of the time to implement that policy with quarterly reports required on their progress. If they are failing to meet their policy targets the voters get to decide if we scrap that policy or replace the minister. Once a policy is implemented it can't be removed unless we vote it out.

American here common misconception, America is not and never has been a "Democracy" we are and always have been a Constitutional Republic the reason for this common misconception is the word democracy sounds more appealing to voters so more often than not candidates will call it such so that they can say "Were going to save our democracy" even though we actually aren't supposed to be one.
You guys really need to stop spitting out that line.
Yes, you are a republic, but your senators, representatives and president are all elected via a democratic process.
There are republics where this does not happen, such as North Korea.

You're kind of arguing that the color magenta is not purple, by arguing you are not a democracy. Technically you are correct, but there are loads of democratic processes there, many of which are the same as for other democratic countries, which are not republics.
Essentially a republic is a country where the public are represented through representatives (virtually all democracies have this), and have a president, that is chosen by some process that is not birth-right, ie not monarchy (you could almost make a case North Korea is a monarchy).

I'm American. Don the Con Trump is a serious threat. What happened on January 6, 2021 shows how low he will go. As of May 30, 2024 Trump is a convicted felon with more charges coming. Trump knows that if doesn't get back into power at the White House by any means including violence he will be going to prison. If he becomes dictator he will try to pardon himself of all of his crimes.

The law is I have to cast my vote in the state I reside. It's frustrating because my vote would mean more in the neighboring swing states of either Wisconsin or Michigan.
