Day trip from Inverness to the North Coast, Scotland, 4K

A road trip North from Inverness to the North coast of Scotland. Stopping at Dunrobin Castle, then off the main road at Helmsdale to Kinbrace and North from there through The Flow Country. Heading East at the North coast and stopping at Fresgoe harbour and Sandside Bay. Past Dounreay and on to Dunnet Head, the most Northly point on the island of Great Britain. Continuing East and stopping at the Castle of Mey, former retreat of the Queen Mother. Then on to a brief stop at John O'Groats and heading back south. Before reaching Wick we stop at the old harbour at Keiss. From Wick back down the main coastal road via the Berriedale Braes and Helmsdale. Round trip distance approximately 250 miles (402km)
