Hi there. A bit late to comment. However I saw your Vlog last night. Inverness is a beautiful place, never heard of this place before, thanks for letting us know about it ,the beautiful buildings and garden where u had lunch. Nice background music. Hope your Scorland series to be a great as all other videos.❤
Very nice video of the city! I visited Inverness with my parents on holiday 20 years ago as part of a tour of the Highlands. I still miss this city and can't wait to come back.
I lived in Inverness with my parents for a few years. Had to leave for work, unfortunately, but I absolutely loved my time there. Once i retire, that's where I'm moving to, if I live to that age 🙈.

Is there enough to see and do in Inverness for a couple of days ? Over the past year and half, my wife and have had several short city breaks which have included London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, York and Liverpool, with three more repeat trips already planned for this year. I am trying to think of somewhere new to visit, for late in the year, or even early 2025, hence this question. I’m thinking about a 2 day trip to Inverness, then 2 in Aberdeen. Both have direct trains from Newcastle on LNER, a company we rate highly. Although my wife likes the shops, we both enjoy seeing new places of interest, such as museums, cathedrals etc.
It's a smaller town, so not too much to do or see, but a nice launching point for more Highland adventures. A good stopover town in my opinion if you are heading north.
@@thetravelingzam Inverness is a city (one of only 7 in Scotland) and not a town. Also it has to offer more than people see when they arrive (and no, I don’t even life in Inverness - roughly 40 miles away from Inverness). It still depends on your interests and activities you are planning to do.
I loved your video. It really made me want to go to Inverness. I will go in August this year. Thank you so much.
Enjoy! It was a great little city

I was always made to believe that Stirling was the gate way to the Highlands. I was born there in the central belt. 🏴🇦🇺
Inverness is gorgeous and you've managed to capture many great shots! Lovely video thanks!

With all the possible activities you can spend up to four days in Inverness and explore it and its surroundings.

Would the gateway cities to the Highlands rather be Stirling in the West and Perth in the East ?
Maybe. But I flew in here so for me it was the gateway and I heard others refer to it as such.
Inverness is not the gateway to the highlands …..it’s way up in the the highlands
For me I flew in there so it was my gateway lol
NOT the most northern city in Scotland. 😂.
If not, which one is?
