Great to finally see some a7x content... we've been starved of it for months now. Still waiting for the stage album full playthrough though.
If new charts are uploaded, I will definitely play them!
I think with that main riff you're meant to keep the one note droning through it rather than having a rest between each chord. Definitely changes the feel of the riff in a big way.
I think Avenged has been weird since the Self Titled Album, after City of Evil they dipped their fingers in weirdness, then did one of their heavist album and one of their like more straight forward album, and now they are full on just weird prog dads AND I LOVE IT.

This is one of the songs that I actually recommend sitting down and listening to mainly because of Papa Gates Ending Solo, And like you said very jammy and is very Tasteful, the licks in it are super good too. it’s honestly one of my favorite solos because it serves the song well.

Man if the tablature community had 10% of the dedicated tab writers as Rocksmith has charters maybe I could actually find a usable tab for a relevant song and actually learn it! I love the gaming community AND the metal community. It’s no wonder when the two meet we work magic!
