I tackled 2014 mitz outlander rear struts today, it is a pain in ass job, you need a good torch/ flashlight / worklight to see those stud nuts. In my case today, the nuts are colored pink but blocked off from view because of wirings/ harnesses around and in front of it.. hope you can spot them without dismantling the plastic trims. Goodluck.
Just did one today. Piece of shit set up, managed to locate the stud nuts 14 ml. nuts without ripping all the plastics. 3 hours , done. The nuts have red marquee paint. Wriggly extension works taking them out. You need a stick magnet to orient the nuts to the studs when re installing. Boys ! We dont have all day. Chop chop !😅😅
@@jessiecorcoran929 2 nuts , just beside that metal bracket. Hard to cypher without good work light. I hate taking out those plastic trims. I was about to say " fuck this job" until I viewed the nuts. 14 ml.
I mean 2 nuts each of strut. Make sure you mark the outside face of the strut before completely removing. You need to know which side is which. These videos probably took them the whole day to do that job, 😀 . I only got 3 hours to do full service , wheel alignment , 3 wiper replacement and rear strut replacement on my card. No fuckin around.😀🇦🇺😡
Thanks for making the video, i am tackling this Wednesday, any tips on removing the interior panels/3rd row?
