WTF, RUclips? Got a comment censored just because I joked that I want to marry the meatflake chef's ex-partner who made him cry & then send him videos of us eating veggie burgers together yet how many times do meatflake post "I'm watching this eating a steak" ???
Hi David u still working on that European film? Or is it done??
naw did you delete one of my replies
Another trend I’m hoping to see vanish is the “I tried going vegan for a week and I almost died” videos.
Since vegans aren't feeding their brains the same proteins and fats that built our large wram blooded brains over hundreds of thousands of years my quastion is how long will vegans last befvore they start draggibng their knuckels and carrying clubs again ?
True
Right? Like what did you eat, rocks?
The 'why I'm no longer vegan' people 😡
These people need to look up what veganism means, and get some BASIC nutritional knowledge, you can't hold an ethical belief for a week 🤦🏻♂️
I was vegan for a week then one day I was watching a David Ramms video on my phone, stepped into traffic, and got hit by a bus. Veganism almost killed me!
How about people stating as an absolute fact that you cannot be healthy on a vegan diet even when talking to a group of healthy vegans?
Are they blind?
Especially when most of those doing so are morbidly obese, have heart conditions, diabetes etc. I encountered one troll on YT recently claiming to be an ex-vegan (as they all do) ranting on about how the carnivore diet saved him ... wait for it ... by losing 200lbs. He was claiming to have "lost 200lbs", & there was still another 200lbs of him left. If most vegans lost 200lbs, they wouldn't exist any more.
Yes, they are childish and triggered. Imagine someone showing up to a dog adoption festival and standing there abusing their dog.
funniest is John Mountain saying you know when you've got a vegan in your restaurant because they'll tell you they're vegan - I mean WTF?!!
that guy has *way* more issues than an irrational dislike of vegans. Genuinely a bit concerned for his mental health
Um yeah, of course! So that maybe they don't get meat or you know, cross contamination?!
@@hannahmitchell87 Aka little man syndrome
The reason a vegan tells a waiter/chef that they are vegan (and I only say it one time) is assuming they truly understand what veganism is and the food prepared is meat and dairy free. Most of the time I find the waiter/waitresses have to have an explanation and then they have to consult the cook/chef anyway. Just a side note: Yes, I eat in restaurants that are not vegan, but only have an option or two. In my little town there is only one vegan restaurant and one vegan bakery. 😢
“I lost my partner because of this. Thanks vegans.” That has to be the most pathetic garbage I’ve ever heard. No one can ruin your marriage but you, buddy.
Also, David where did you get your hat?? I love it 🔥
Probably threw one too many of his tantrums at home. Classic narc behaviour
Can't have been much of a relationship if some bad reviews was enough to end it.
Maybe his partner was secretly considering going vegan...now wouldn't that be ironic! 😂
The best part was the chef blaming the vegans for his partner leaving. LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Classic narc blaming anyone but himself
The “eat meat in front of the vegan” cracks me up. We see it all the time anyway.
It really reveals the lack of reason and evidence to support their position.
Really? That is the best you could do?
Yes indeed unfortunately, as my family and friends are non vegan. One exception is my son. We support each other in our journey of veganism. ❤
Soyboy or Dairy Fairy. The trolling is horrific on That Vegan Teachers channel. She unfortunately started on Tik Tok and all the trolls followed her to You Tube.
This was a great video. Thanks.
That woman is a terrible garbage human.
That vegan teacher has said some disgusting things, for example, saying if Kall me Kris was vegan, she wouldn't have been a victim of SA. Agreeing with Deep Vegan for saying 911 was a good thing. She's far from innocent same with Tash Peterson.
Dairy Fairy. I like that.
Best Eating-Meat Retort Award goes to Mel for "And you're eating cow pus."

@@lizwillis215 They just changed their channel name to Mel & Steve.
The interesting development, now days, is the turn around on the line,
“How do you know someone’s a vegan?…they’ll tell you”.
Nowadays it’s more the case of,
“How do you know someone is a carnist?…they’ll tell you”
I don’t know any vegans who are driven to advertise how they choose to live.
How do you know someone is vegan. They decline meat and dairy then you make a big deal wondering why. Then everytime they say they ate a burger or Hotdog you question if it's even really meat.
@@shawns4354Why would a vegan eat a burger or a hot dog? Unless I'm assuming it's made from plants, in which case, why would you need to question if it's meat, then?
This comment is very confusing.
Thats defenitely untrue, im clinical dietician and the amount of patronizing vegan-"patients" too focused on how awesome they're beacuse of their dietary choice to focus on their problem is way too big. You might not notice beacuse thats the envirnoment you've chosen and you're a part of. Crazy vegan parents are the reason kids cant have parties in kindergarten (unless everyone agrees to make fully vegan party, no chocolate or bbq/sasuage campfire) and i've even had a psycho vegan mom who literally hit my daughter cause she shared her ham sandwich with her vegan son.
Sure most vegans are cool, normal people but the amount of radical dietary-wise people among vegans is defenitely higher than any other group. Kinda understandable if they come from place of caring for animals buuuut still, they're very often quite loud and obnoxious about it. From meateaters i've never seen anything beyond mean jokes.
@Redhotquagmire Right, because they're trying to call out that you're not really eating "meat". I assume it's to be annoying
This one is purely said to try shut vegans up by embarrassing us about this. And it works on a lot of vegans who stay silent,
I've been following you for a while, and I really enjoy watching your videos. Its great to have reasonable and adequate person like you in the community. Thanks.
that vegan teacher's activism relies on people making videos about her though.
she plays the controversial fool while getting the message accross and promoting other channels where they can learn more about animal rights. i think the guys that bring her up are also more likely to get defensive and attack vegans, her taking the mockery means we probably get less of it ourselves.
i admit she goes too far at times, like wishing alex o'connor should be hacked or how she lashed out when you said you wanted to focus on other stuff besides veganism as well, but overall she really deserves more recognition, especially for how brave she truly is for going through with it all despite the death threats, doxxing and other crap she had to endure. she's not that effective at making people go vegan immediately, but she's proven to make a lot of people curious about animal rights and thus has indirectly made a LOT of vegans.
An interesting paradigm, for me having been vegan for almost a decade, and also happening to be a larger man at 6'2 205 lbs, is I get a lot of questions and respect for my choice from other men. However then I turn to the internet where people can create more outlandish personalities or act out of anonymity, and I see so much hate and disrespect for Vegans. Whats interesting is people only tend to act this way when they have some form of anonymity, and typixally if they are in a social setting where they are known and their identity is known, they act more cordial, respextful and caring... so aside from internet anonymity and glorified personalities, I think the vast majority of people strongly agree with Veganism even if they are not Vegan
This! Thank you.
You're bang on, I've noticed that in only six months as a vegan. When people find out, they're usually pretty resoectful (not always). I anticipate being judged but it's mostly people wanting to know more or saying 'that must be really difficult' - either way it's a chance to bust some myths and hopefully plant some seeds.
Online, however... totally different story. Plants feel pain, lions though, you're virtue signalling, picture of a steak, etc.
It's easy to hide behind a keyboard.
Couldn’t agree more
@@theirlivesnotours online aren't the carnists responding to animal rights activism videos? It's one thing for them to say "I respect your decision to be vegan" in life but they also expect you to respect THEIR decision to continue eating animal flesh. They are ONLY okay with yoy so long as you remain a "pick me good vegan" and don't challenge them. It's the animal rights activism that most carmists hate, online or in real life.

Ah, you just killed me with "Gluten protein is some of the worst for building muscle." Anything to add to help me cry less? 2 days ago I bought 40 lb of gluten flower for the next year of seitan.
Don't stress too much, I've gained a ton of strength and muscle including seitan in my diet, I'm sure it's still useful just not as useful as soy protein
Simple answer - eat both
in a nutshell,' we're not forcing our views on you, because we're right'. Wow, that's arrogant. I hope 2024 becomes the year of everyone not assuming their opinion is the only correct one, or at least the only opinion worth listening to
Most omnivores share vegan ethics. It's just that vegans align their actions with their morals.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one who caught that. The moral superiority complex has been building, probably because they haven't made in major headway. It's like people have free will, to choose to live and eat how they see fit.
We are right, and we aren't forcing our views on you.
How would that even be possible?
Capturing meat eaters and then brain washing them?
A shame your opinions only centre on you you you. What about the choice of the animals??? So damn entitled!
@123thesophster I believe that if animals are treated well during their life, and slaughtered in a humane fashion, then that is fine. If you want to campaign to abolish intensive farming practices, to improve the general treatment of animals, then I will stand with you. Shouting at people, who do not, upon 'education' from a millenial who has watched a few youtube videos, completely change their diet, is not a good way of influencing people. I respect that you may disagree with my original point. I do not hold it against you that you hold those views, I just happen not to share them

"Gluten and peanuts proteins are the two worst proteins to build muscle" Why are they the worst to build muscle? Is it because of the lack of some amino acids (that is actually not a real problem in a well balanced plant-based diet)? Or there's something else?
I've combined vegan and olitarian diets to bump up the fat ratio slightly.
One I need to not hear anymore is
"Well I actually have a health condition where and I actually cannot process any other food froup except meat.....no I eon't tell you what the condition is called."

The transformative impact inherent in the adoption of a plant-based lifestyle transcends transient taste preferences. Individuals who have yet to explore this paradigm inadvertently prioritize immediate flavour satisfaction to the detriment of broader considerations, including personal well-being, environmental sustainability, and the enduring legacy for future generations. The decision to embrace a plant-based approach underscores a purposeful alignment of values with the interconnected well-being of individuals, the environment, and animal welfare.
For those persisting in the consumption of meat, dairy, and eggs, there appears to be a perceived indifference, perhaps stemming from a lack of awareness that persists until the inevitable consequences become undeniable. It is advisable for individuals to proactively educate themselves on the implications of their dietary choices before reaching a point of irrevocable consequence. Rather than outright dismissing with juvenile mockery and disdainful disregard, they should consider engaging in a more thoughtful and constructive response.

It’s weird. Eating cow testicles for example provides one with testosterone but is called gay. But consumption of dairy products regardless of giving estrogen hormone is not called gay despite providing a hormone that would increase female hormone in males.
Genuine question- which study suggested gluten and peanut-based proteins are bad for building muscle?
Not bad necessarily just nowhere near as good as other options, it’s based on their PCDCAAS scores

As long as people don't see the reality
I say one thing: I will eat meat, dairy, eggs in front of anyone. Agriculture cannot exists without animal production. Vegan enlightment is just realisation of fact that meat, dairy and eggs don't grow on trees. So don't tell what not to do so in 2024.
Nice pointed out.
Thanks for letting me know peanuts and gluten aren’t that effective for building muscle…that way, when debating I can concede that fact and still argue other plants are indeed effective at muscle building
To be clear it's not like someone should avoid peanuts or gluten, for example a noodle dish with soy beans, seitan and peanuts would still be a decent meal for protein
It's just if you're choosing a protein powder for example and you're banking on that for a lot of extra protein for building muscle specifically, soy would probably be your no 1 option, also pea is a great option

Just watch a video on someone eating meat or something related to veganism and you will 100% see the vegan teacher being mentioned in the comment section more than a couple of times. This trend needs to stop. It is getting old.
I think if SOME vegans didn't behave the way they do, anti-veganism wouldn't exist. When was the last time you heard or saw anti-pescatarianism for example?. Personally I've found a lot of arguments from vegans valid and thought provoking. The problem is that sometimes SOME vegans come across as quite fascistic. It's impossible to reason or empathize with that approach. Yes some folk will even resort to trolling (which granted is equally as bad).
That's not the case anti vegan act the way they di cause they secretly feel guilty. I should know i have to be a very passive vegan in my family, no matter how kind and non judgemental you act. You will get shit.
You're conflating veganism with plant based diet. Regardless of how vegans behave, there will always be antis because it's a moral issue and not a diet.
Hey David, you ever tried meat in your younger age, before you became a vegan?
He was raised vegetarian.
I don't know that many vegans/vegetarians but I have to say that the ones I have met are light years different than the typical ones on social media. I don't think I've ever had one that tried to push their agenda on me or go into some weird rant on veganism. On social media that agenda pushing/ranting is pretty much the default. I lump them in with the organic/non-GMO cult. If you meet them in real life they are usually much more down to earth.
So being against animal abuse is an agenda to you? 😂
@@RedAISkye Yep. everyone has an agenda.
@@gregorygreene1940 It's a moral issue not mere agenda.

Hi David, you seem to want to have a rational debate about veganism and I've been looking for it for quite some time. As a person who comes from developing country where most people are vegan not by choice but because it's cheaper to be vegan, it presents nutritional problems for us. So,nthe protein options that mainstream vegans propagate in western media might me an affordable choice for you. But for majority of farmers growing chickpeas and protein rich lentils group the cost is paid in terms of intensive farming that requires a lot of nitrogen and at the end of the day, they can't afford the things they have grown because it fetches a much higher price in the western market. This encourages pesticides but it also degrades the quality of soil pretty quickly. I'm sure there are organic ways of farming vegan food source but it is highly expensive for small land holding farmers. So the message that come across from the vegan movement to these poor farmers is that we really don't care about you but we do care very much for the animals! This is the reality from a third world country. However, as a person educated in the US, I do understand the point you are trying to make. Running a society is about trade offs in my view. Although your society may have reached a point where you can debate what works for your society, the impact it has on farmers in the developing world cannot be ignored. I have long wished that veganism really considered the cost they are imposing on so called soy farmers and protein rich ingredients to support veganism comes at a very high 'climate cost' to the farming happening in developing countries since these farmers are simply responding to market response of 'price'. The more you demand these kind of food products without looking at the supply chain issues of where your food is coming from - the more we exacerbate the problem. My two cents on the debate if there is one to be had! I could be wrong and my reality is definitely different from yours!
I’m sorry - but are you aware that half (at least) of soy and corn and other grains are grown to feed animals in the industrial agriculture sector? And what exactly are the nutrition problems you speak of? And not being able to afford the crops farmers in the third world grow because they fetch a higher price in the market is a problem of capitalism, not the fault of the 1-3% of the people in global north who are vegans. I’m not sure what the point is you’re trying to make here.
You're a little confused here. Crops such as peas and beans are unique plants that can establish a nitrogen fertilizer factory in their roots, they are actually used to put nitrogen into the soil that gain crops take out. Have a look into the Fukuoka-inspire 'no till' natural farming movement in India led by people like Raju Titus a farmer in Madhya Pradesh. It's also referred to as "Zero Budget Farming" (ZBNF) with nearly 600,000 farmers currently engaged.
Veganism has been against the use of pesticides since before their use was widespread, since the 1950s at least.
I'm going to be kind to use & not rip into your claims re market consumption as they are hypothetical & on very weak grounds however, even if we were to accept them, it's an easy fix that comes down to politics & economics. It's what trade barriers etc are for. Ditto, so is the problem of farmers' labour being undervalued within the capitalist, free market system.
While not a core vegan issue at this time, nor in the West where human rights are well established, vegan principles of non-oppression & non-exploitation ALSO apply to humans. India has its own, unique problems relating to land ownership & caste in this area which are for Indians to sort out. You can't blame veganism for them.
Less than 7% of soy grown is consumed by humans, & most of that is consumed by non-vegan Asians so it's a complete non-issue for vegans. We're responsible for less than 0.5% of the world's consumption. Here, you appear to be being suckered into the meat industry's propaganda that somehow "vegan = team plant" while they are "team meat". Veganism & plant agriculture is not synonymous.
Strictly speaking, a lot of plant agriculture is not vegan yet & certainly not carried out by vegans, so you're highlighting potential problem being caused by our enemies, who we are trying to transform, not by us.
Most of the "supply" issues you are talking about are created by the voracious demand for animal feed to supply the West with an excess of meat, diary and eggs; not by vegan consumption.
I hope this is a useful starter for your research.
See alsol Rythu Sadhikara Samstha and the NATIONAL MISSION ON NATURAL FARMING MANAGEMENT AND KNOWLEDGE PORTAL.
@@jonahwhale9047 Thank you for pointing out the resources for doing more research! I'm worried about soil quality and its effect on poor farmers in the long run. I'll reach out if I have any further questions.
@@Rpta111 Thanks. It reads like you've been influenced by some idiot thinking from the carnivores crowd in the USA. The USA has its own specific cultural & agricultural problems. That's why its best to look to Asia where people have been farming the same land for 5,000 years & ask how, rather than taking only 50 or 100 years to destroy it, as the Americans did.
The use of large, heavy equipment in an attempt to reduce economic costs of mor labor intensive & the desire to maximise short terms profits (which the US is all about), does destroy the land without any doubt. Whereas the land that Fukuoka lived on (who brought back Natural Farming techniques), had supported life for 2,000 years, & still is.
It's wrong to conflate vast fields & monocropping, or the US corporations forcing F1 GMO crops & pesticides onto poor farmers in India, with veganism.
Just because it's relates to a plant, doesn't mean it's vegan.
In India there are other factors that are causing the problem, e.g. the remnants of caste & landownership issues. The problem is with land, it's more with landless farmers being forced off fertile lands & onto unsuitable marginal lands, so the wealth can grow cash crops etc. The under valuation of labor is another.
Veganism is a principle that will evolve & apply to such scenarios, both social, economic, & agricultural. It wouldn't be vegan if it was exploiting & oppression humans, as the carnist system does today. It values farm workers almost as lowly as it does cattle, treating them like chattel too.
Anti-vegan? No, we are just anti-boundary crossing. Imagine being so rude as to tell other people what to eat and act suprised at being told to get lost. Guess why the kind of plant eaters who mind their own business and leave the rest of us alone don't get "anti"-ed? Take a wild guess why oh why?

I have no issues with vegans, just let me eat my meat in peace 🙂

@@bugsthompson Only if they don't eat meat.

It’s good that there are people combating the micronutritionally adequate diet. South Hampton university just posted an article titled "Pregnant women are missing vital nutrients needed for them and their babies - and situation could worsen with plant-based foods". And they don’t even list all of the micronutrients you are missing.
Can you site that source?
@@sydneyfury Google the quoted text? You can’t post links in here.
@@Divinefapper So I found the article you mentioned, I actually read a few different versions and from what I gathered, it’s saying that women on modern diets are still lacking the appropriate nutrients for fetal development (the candidates of the study were NOT plant based). The statement of “it’ll get worse as plant based diets increase” is just an assumption, but not necessarily a bad one, tbh. If it’s noted that people are lacking those essential nutrients on omnivorous diets and that the world is shifting towards plant based, it’s important to recognize this and take action through fortifying foods and adding more nutrients at the source of growing plant based foods. That was actually mentioned in the study, which was about supplementation in general. “We are going to have to get our heads around fortifying foods in a more substantial way,” he said. “And we’re also going to have to get our heads around growing plant-based foods with higher levels of these micronutrients.” So from what I got out of this study, is that animal based foods aren’t cutting it in regards to getting those vital nutrients either. Coming from someone who had 2 babies on a plant based diet, I am privileged and lucky enough to have taken prenatal vitamins (as recommended by my OBGYN) and had no issues with my children. Post birth, I stopped taking my prenatal and continued to breastfeed
on a WFPB diet, my children have had no issues in terms of inadequate nutrient intake or any developmental issues. However I understand my privilege, and some women can’t afford prenatal vitamins , which is why this study is great because it recognizes we need to do more with our food in terms of making sure they have enough nutrients and vitamins for our mothers and little ones.
Best wishes
@@sydneyfury Good answer but I wonder about the "privileged" disclaimer. I checked on Amazon India and one can buy 60 days worth of multi-vit/mins from 80 to 100 rupees. That's about $1.20 for two months, or 2c per day. Is that really beyond anyone's purchasing power, even in India? Accepted those are the cheapest but even double or triple that is it still impossible? Big shout out to universal, socialized healthcare keep costs down and serving all of the population. It would save & benefit the nation multi-millions to just provide all women with a years worth of non-profit dietary supplementation.
You’re right about dairy making men have chippy tits! Men with tits are always fat dairy fairies!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏 #govegan 🌱💚
How do you know someone is vegan. They decline meat and dairy then you make a big deal wondering why. Then everytime they say they ate a burger or Hotdog you question if it's even really meat.
Forcing views. Like when I talk about recycling or offering someone a ride instead of letting them drive drunk
David, you are one of my favorite activists. I love how quickly you respond to their bull with answers that make sense. Most recently, about how they are rebelling against the wrong people when they should be rebelling against the industry that lied to them. Cowardly.
Great work, as always!
It goes both ways Vegans are no better than other people. You are not the chosen ones.
Awesome video as alway's, meatflakes are basically well annoying.
I am so fucking pissed at this carnist reactionary bullshit

Oh yes, vegans are so good at building bridges
We don't build bridges, we build bridgeheads.
Meat is a very good meal, why you should stop eating this?
Ooh idea! Vegans, when we get invited to a piers morgan show, and he brings out a steak, have a full table-salt shaker in your pocket, but "be sure the lid is secure", wouldnt want to spoil his corpse-munch with a salt pyramid.. (they bring in another one), be careful you don't bump into it.
i have a feeling things will get worse. but we can handle it.💚💚💚💚🌱
Yes, we are at the stage where they stopped ignoring us and now they are FIGHTING us. I do believe that it will escalate. This is the fight that we MUST win.
Nah yall are just getting louder and more anoying and with that comes media attention.
Facts are that a small 🤏 percentage of 1% of the world is vegan. (not 1% exact, but not even close to 2%)
How is 1% going to win from the other 99?
Btw feel free to factcheck it 😁
In the US the ground beef is ground up dairy cows. So it is not just dairy full of estrogen.
Right, well any type of animal flesh will have all the hormones in it, since it's flesh from an animal that has an endocrine system. People forget about that, it's not just in animals that are given hormones, it's in all animals.

Why is "Soyboy" an insult in the first place? I am proudly wearing a T-shirt with "Soyboy" largly written on it (ordered it some years ago from Humane Hancocks store) and I actually got quite a few positive comments about it.

Here's an intresting trend. Did you know the percentage of vegetarians and vegans has steadily decreased over the past 20 years.
Dairy and meat industry propaganda maybe? I mean how could we really know? Unless we conducted the study? I cant say if this is true or false but I won't just believe or not believe something because it fits perfectly within my already biased opinion
Humans are omnivores, David. I don't see that biological trend being out of date in 2024 or any other year for that matter.

As a believer in Christ Jesus, I don't feel guilty about being a non-vegan. Ultimately, the NT makes diet a personal choice.
Poor welfare standards are my only concern but they don't change my physiology.. I'm not a herbivore.
As a believer in Jesus I hope you'll make changes to be more Christlike, Jesus wouldn't fund the most unethical industry on earth, animal agriculture: ruclips.net/video/77UYzJhDn-s/видео.html
You can be perfectly healthy on a plant-based diet
@@davidramms I saw the ref'd vid. I don't think that you're in any position to speak for Jesus, even if you describe yourself a 'secular Christian'.🤔
As 'God in the flesh', Jesus was the author of Mankind's salvation, which includes all of the animal sacrifice (& consumption) within the OT. Jesus wasn't a vegan hippie.
@@Planet-Bees So you disagree that Jesus would care about being an ethically good person. Great Christian you are. If Jesus was like that, there would be no reason to take him seriously anyway.
I’m pretty sure Jesus wouldn’t be funding horrific animal mutilation and killing when he could just be healthy eating plants
But if you think he would please tell me in detail, how would Jesus kill an animal?
How can you take the Jesus character seriously as it is merely a character in a fiction book.
