    They upgraded this problem...

  • @notreal5299

    They supply the 1/4, and 3/8 adapters. But they will sell the 1/2 adapter separately for another $10. But the 1/2 adapter doesn't come with the clip to put it on the rail with the other ones, although there is room on the rail.

    I like the profile but the adapters coming out is a dealbreaker for me. If there was a positive lock on the adapters would buy for sure. Inside sockets - meh.

      That’s my worry too..smh

    Why Milwaukee chose to only put one groove on the socket and bit adapters is a mystery. All the sockets have 2 grooves to be able to use it on both sides of the ratchet. Why the retaining ring in the ratchet mechanism isn't centered is also a mystery. I might be adding the second groove to keep them in place better.

    Thanks for this video man, I was thinking about buying this. But my one question was how easily do the sockets pop out of the drive head and you've showed that the sockets pop out quite easily.

      I am looking at buying one, would you get both meteric and imperial sockets ?

  • @SuperAsian78
    @SuperAsian78 7 месяцев назад +2

    I would probably get one and loctite the 3/8 adapter in place for the smaller head and longer reach.

      the impacting mechanism would instantly bust the loctite

    I like the idea of the insider as you only need one tool to cover both 1/4 and 3/8. There is a simple solution to keep the adaptors from pulling out. Drill and tap the centers of the adaptors. Insert the adaptor in the tool. Put a fender washer on top and thread a screw to hold the adaptor positively in place.

    How does this compare to snap on long neck ratchet brushless

  • @seriousmechanicing
    @seriousmechanicing 11 месяцев назад

    Looks cool, the overall form is more like the Snap On long electric ratchet which I prefer. Oh yeah and get a job! 😂

    How about a comparison between the right angle impact and the insider, I don't think I've seen a video yet comparing the two. I know one is an impact and one is a ratchet but with breaking suspension or brake bolts loose in tight spots, what would you prefer. mahalo

  • @chrxx4327

    yeah... no thanks. I'll be sticking with my 3/8 and 1/4 high speed ratchet. Speed > power imo with a powered ratchet. I can always used it like a regular ratchet when I need to. The pass throu sockets I'll never use. I have a normal passthru ratchet socket set that collects dust. Dropping out the 3/8 or 1/4 anvil all the time sounds like a pain in the ass. The only cool thing this does is allow you to switch direction's front or back for extra clearance. Not worth the 350 bucks milwaukee is asking for.

      I loosen it back it out like three or four threads then I use my middle finger more leverage for the next bit here. Then with a rubber glove on load up on it then flick it downwards and watch it spin right off. Then I put it on by hand after then tighten it to what the manufacturer wants. No need for power tools needed.
