The Incredible Ferrari Collection of Pro Golfer Ian Poulter!

- Опубликовано: 3 окт 2019
- Ian Poulter made his success as a professional golfer, opening up the possibility to follow his passion for cars and in particular for Ferrari. With huge thanks to Ian, join us now for a very special opportunity to take a guided tour around his Car Museum to enjoy some of these incredible cars.
In the way I dream of one day displaying my car collection, Ian has built up a venue to showcase the cars along with matching memorabilia. While maintaining some mystique around the entire collection together, let's head around to explore the likes of the Ferrari LaFerrari and LaFerrari Aperta, Enzo, 288 GTO, Ford GT and some of his unique specifications for the F12tdf and Speciale A via Ferrari Tailor Made.
I would like to extend a huge thanks to Ian for his hospitality and invitation to share a collection that is normally totally private. It's certainly very much appreciated and enjoyed from my side, and I hope also for those viewing. You can follow him at / ianjamespoulter
Thanks for watching, Tim

This is a dream car collection and garage! A huge thanks to Ian Poulter for the opportunity to visit his car museum and be taken for a tour around some of the cars. instagram.com/ianjamespoulter
Man like lan poulter he’s a big Arsenal fan as well
The Taylor Made is strong with this one! Impressive collection
Shmee150
This is absolutely a beautiful collection!
I’ve never been a fan of the TDF... but that matte blue has definitely changed my mind! 👍🏾👌🏾
288 GTO!!! I just wet myself! 🤦♂️
Cars like this in a museum is killing me...and the "horses" in the engines. This terrible!!! These guys are not car lovers but investors. No admiration from me. Buhhhh
"It was my dad's favourite car. So I bought one and let him drive it occasionally" 😂😂😂
Sounds like a real nice guy.
id buy him 2 ifi was rich too
Yeah.. almost 900 miles. That's about how much I drove my 911 last week.
LOL i was expecting him to say he bought it for his Dad!
Yep, exactly what I thought. Surely he should of BOUGHT it for his Dad. What an arse !
@Smitty Rock and weird how he got a Ford GT cause I heard they wanted to allocate them especially to people who would be driving them. He isn't driving it at all like wth.
He also has a 911 GT2RS, it was his Mum’s favourite car so he occasionally lets her look at it
Truly awesome comment!!! I laughed out loud reading it!!!! Baahahahahahahahaahahaaaaaaa...
Lmfao!
😂
hahahah
😂
1:57 Shmee said “tailor made”. Ian heard “TaylorMade” lol.
C P once a golfer always a golfer. He is a Titleist man right?
Not the brightest guy
denmark39 yeah he is, lol
Ah, you caught that too ha.
@@denmark39 yeah.
I've owned 3 exotics so far. I'm proud that I averaged 1,500 miles a month in each one. Life is short, put the smiles to the miles! I can't imagine letting them just sit there. SMH
Totally agree, why have such great cars and let them sit undriven
Everybody is entitled to do whatever they want with their own property, you choose to drive your cars he chooses to collect them, both are fine idk why you have to bash on the dude for not driving them, he can do whatever he pleases.
Because he can!!! If you have an issue with it go buy the same exact cars and drive them every day if you want.
@@ANDRE_675 EXACTLY FINALLY SOMEONE THAT HAS A BRAIN
@@ANDRE_675 cars can also be collectibles asewell as driven, why do people have a problem with that
Seems like he enjoys owning cars more than driving them. We all enjoy our toys in different ways I guess.
When you have 20 cars I guess the thrill you and I would get from from driving them is significantly reduced for them
Yeah....Jay Leno bought his McLaren F1 for $800,000 and people told him he was crazy. Now it's worth $15-$20 MILLION. Some of these cars can be a terrific investment. There's nothing wrong with that!
@@jacejohnson7113 can you imagine living like that? I wouldn't. Why bother driving the boring e class every day just to keep the mileage low on the exotics. Money is useless, in 30 odd years time this guy will be in the ground.
quinnjim he drives the hell out of his cars, i live near him and he constantly drives his LaF and ford gt
Again the same not driving these cars is a crime BS. Its his cars for f*** sake. So stop posting your opinions and enjoy the collection.
A collection inspired by his financial investment advisor.
hahahahah
He’s not losing a penny in this collection lol
Nothing wrong with that
@@Tan-qm3yq his garage is bigger than my house lmfao
@anyo1994 ohhhh look here, an internet tough guy 🤣🤣
Magnificent collection and ultimate dream garage! Love how Ian has customized them all. However PLEASE drive them more!
I just love when a new car collection is released to the world LIKE THIS!
Oliver G.M Frs there’s probably better ones that we’ll never see
Imagine playing a sport and being able to purchase all these cars. That's beyond a dream.
Yeah. Poulter has about $40million in career on course earnings not including endorsements. Plenty to afford these cars if he's invested the money well into other places. Poulter has been more successful than average on the PGA Tour, but no one would consider him a "great." Then you look at what guys can make in the NBA and other sports and it's even crazier. Although there is a ton of a money in golf if you can win a lot, it's just very hard to do.
The most incredible thing to me is that he has all this and has not even won a Major golf tournament!
Kenny Duff still has $26 million in winnings
@@gcgjhvhjhj I have been a golfer for a long time so remember first place prizes of 50 grand, 26 million without winning anything of note is crazy just in winnings no doubt the same again off the course
Not winning a major doesn’t mean he didn’t win anything of note LOL. There are 4 majors every year, many more important tournaments that are not majors, and he’s won many of those. So no he is not “mediocre” at the sport, he has been for 20 years one of the best players in the sport, many greats haven’t won any majors in their careers.
He will make more just in the rising values of these cars than most people make in their life. He’s picked such iconic cars that he won’t lose a penny on any of them. Takes money to make money.
He has won 15 golf tournaments and has multiple sponsors. Prize money and sponsorship money from that would be worth millions.
The Enzo will always be my favourite Ferrari, just absolutely amazing to look at!
it is the best looking, most racey design feel, car they made...I love the hard edges and angles, very different from typical ferrari feel of flowy lines the new ones have and the classics
Damn that’s a nice collection especially for a golfer
BASITH PH he’s worth $60m good golfers are loaded
It's an incredible collection and so fantastic that Ian has turned his golfing success into one of his other passions with cars and in particular Ferrari. I can't thank him enough for the opportunity to visit and be able to share these cars with you all.
Shmee150 his golf club collection is very impressive too!!
Have you seen some of their jets? Lol
Cornwall1888 if you play enough golf to get that good you’re used to being around money and expensive cars well before getting famous.
We are only here once, so if I was him I would drive them all with all of his money the value of them is immaterial.
some ppl think about their children's future and they want to pass it over to the next generation maybe? I mean if I was him I would drive the hell out of the cars
You don't know that till you get to that level. All those people that say they will drive the hell out of it can probably never begin to understand the sacrifice and commitment of how hard you had to work to get to a stage where you can buy these things. And unless they miraculously won the lottery, they would probably think differently about these things if they worked all their life to get there.
I’d say it’s time he lacks as he probably always playing or training
Yeah but your not him are you
@@venom5809 I never said that its his job dude, but if I was a parent I would make sure my kids have a backup
Absolutely beautiful collection, Ian.
As a genuine American fan who has been marveled by your clutch golf and entertained by your personality on and off the course throughout your career and being someone who closely follows racing and supercars, I could not be happier for you.
These fabulous motorcars are certainly in good hands. Now I just need to see what Darren has in his garage. Cheers!
props to Ian for letting you and us see this amazing collection! Really well-spoken as well
I would be more impressed if all the cars had 30,000 miles on them.
understand what you mean, but the 30000 miles he has probably on the golfcourse in those years...
DasHauss when you put it that way I do regain the respect for him. He earned them, we didn’t, who are we to judge...
Hard to get your golf clubs, your case in those things, golf tournaments lay out drivers and courtesy cars so it is not hard to understand why so few miles
Kenny Duff they get big Mercs and stuff like that for courtesy cars
Me too mate.
I've always liked Ian. I love his passion during the Ryder Cups and always cheer him on in the majors. However, this is next level. He's now the GOAT. Absolutely phenomenal spec on the 458 and the gator touch on the Laf is amazing.
Ian Poulter....The type of guy to start a water fight, but then tell everyone he is not allowed to get wet.
Drive your cars, you have an opportunity that many of us do not have.
ahahahah
Absolutely spot on comment
Love Ian Poulter's passion on the golf course especially during the Ryder cup, its nice to see he has a passion for nice cars too 👍. Love the 288 GTO my favourite Ferrari
I love your videos. I have a lot of respect for your car knowledge, your enthusiasm for cars and your calm, relaxed manner in narration and also when driving.
I love the picture of Michael and it makes me always sad nothing to hear from him.
This is by far the best video you have done, im a golfer and from England the postmans collection is something else, this is a video I wasnt expecting but it is brilliant 2👍👍👍
Love how Ian rolls. If I had his cash it would be all Ferrari’s for me. Love the wall with Enzo and the prancing horse. That’s respect.
That was a very special treat. Thank you, Ian!
This guy is a true Ferrari aficionado.
4:05 Would have been cool if he gave it to his dad from the start.
I sure his FATHER would put a lot of M I L E S on it..
yeah but he’s probably a bit of a tight wad so no chance
@@71MWhite at least he owns the cars, so I guess it's not your problem what he does with them
yep
Great video Tim, one of your best. He seems like a great guy as well.
When Ian pointed and said that was Schumacher's suit and boots I got chills, so amazing. Thanks for Sharing Mate.
Oh wow. That LaF and Aperta. Those specs and then to have that relationship with Ferrari and the tailor made program. Insanity.
"I let my Dad drive the Testarossa, its only got 800 miles on it" ... So you let him drive it alot then ?! .. top guy
Yeah, his dad drove it home from the dealer, as Ian drove his newer Ferrari home behind him
The kind of collection that will be sold on auction by RM Sotheby... His cars have such a unique specs! That's crazy.
Man, when I was young, I used to look at the Ferrari Enzo as one of the most bada** cars, it was something at that time
It still is and always will be
*ass
Yet you still act 14 and "censor" swear words. Either say them or don't say it at all. :)
Kronos I am not 14, and what does it got to do with you mate? Non of your business,
Kronos it’s my mind, I can do whatever I want ;)
The incredible collection of the exact same cars every other car collector has.
hahahah
Thank you for this and thanks ian. I used to watch you as a kid growing up golfing myself.
You have some lovely cars and nice to see them looked after.
Cheers
This is the type of guy that Jeremy Clarkson makes fun of when he test drives a Ferrari😅..All he does is tell his mates about them
He has one speacial collection glad you could show us shmee 😁
Amazing collection, more amazed at how nice and humble Ian is, what a smashing chap!
In my opinion one of your best private collection visits, Tim, not only because of those beautiful cars, but because the owner was there, comenting on every car, and the guy seemed so cool and relax about it. Congrats
Thanks guys, this collection is absolutely astonishing ! Keep playing some good golf and hope to see you for the next Ryder Cup Poults!
Amazing collection! The 458 Speciale Aperta is one of my favorite, I'm still not sure if the spec on that car is horribly beautiful or beautifully horrific.
not a huge fan of the white leather in the interior and the painted vents on the engine cover but the rest is just amazing
First time to the channel and not knowing much about Ian. Great video and what a pleasure hearing Ian talk about his passion and the time and thought he put into the collection and his personal specifications. A truly enjoyable video to watch for any car enthusiast. Thank you.
I like his choice of colors. He is one passionate guy. I can tell.
I like Poulter. That tricolore though - “There are just too many options” yes, yes there are.
lol
By far the best specced Ferrari f12 tdf I've ever seen! Totally blown away!
*worst specced
Seems like a giddy 12 year old girl high on sugar decided to make it.
@@Kronos0999 I agree. This is hideous, both Schmee and the golfer know it was a mistake. How many Ferrari's have had to "grow" on me? none. The GT40 is weak and will never get driven. How does anyone not put 150 miles on it the first week they own it? What a dissapointment. And Schmee as well, no love for the 275? C'mon, the 275 is perfection, glad to see this golfer has some taste, because nothing else in this collection says otherwise. That 458....YIKES!
jim zumma he has no love for anything older than the mid 2000s. A 275 GTB 4 can... Yawn... all these new RUclips’s have no clue about classic cars. It’s ridiculous.
@@Kronos0999 well. I guess the car is an acquired taste then
@@jargon2532 If you have to "acquire" a taste for a Ferrari, it hasn't been specced right.
What an awesome guy Ian is, always been a fan of his . Superb collection real pleasure to see.
Nice guy, but he’s like a record collector who never listens to music. Kind of sad.
Antoine P Yes I agree. These cars should be driven and not be siting in a personal museum. But he made the money to buy them and it gives him pleasure. Seems like a good chap and does not have a big ego like some other collectors.
dphotos Yeah, seems super down to earth.
I see a pattern, records that aren't listened to and cars that aren't driven.
He traines 7 days a week to even afford these cars. Doesnt have time to drive m all
Would be interesting to see your opinion if these cars actually belonged to you. I’m sure taking the Enzo out for a daily cruise wouldn’t be such an easy thing....
Seems like Ian is investing in these cars than driving them
How can he not own a golf...😁 first car id buy if i were a golfer.
Haha hu haaaa
😂😂😂
Lol
What a magnificent collection and so nicely displayed. Stunning!
Wow some absolutely stunning cars - thank you and to Ian too for showing them - brilliant !
Proud to be one of the Many, many golf fans Poults has blocked on Twitter.
Awesome car collection!
Lovely collection but he should drive his cars more!
He can't afford to do that, I'd suppose.
In his place, I'd have just bought one or two Ferraris and driven tf out of them not worrying about mileage.
@@Kronos0999 he has so many cars that driving them once in a while wouldn't put on too many Miles and because he has the super rare cars they will all increase in value
@@Kronos0999 If he can't afford to drive them, that would mean he's barely making enough to buy them and can't even drive them a little, he shouldn't have bought them to begin with. Most likely his appreciation for cars stops at them being rare and cool looking, so he just holds on to them with little passion for driving.
I don't think people understand how busy of a schedule professional golfers have. Your traveling almost every week and if your not, then your practicing all day and in the gym. I'm sure he loved to drive them more if he had the time.
@@BT-ls5zk Please. No Golfer makes enough bank to buy so many multi-million dollar cars.

Congratulations Ian and continued success on tour and Schmee thank you for continuing to show other You Tube personalities how it is done. Remarkable collection and also very naughty ;)
What an amazing collection! 😍👍Didn’t realize he had some of those.
at 10 min. Tims mind is sceaming TRICOLORE, TRICOLORE!!!
That aperta is the best ive ever seen wow

The aperta is better than the laferrari for two reasons
1. It looks cooler
2. It's a convertible
