@@libanarab5883 There are not 45 multi-season TV dramas better than Better Call Saul. There just aren't. There is not a single bad episode or season, not a single bad character, not a single dull or skipable moment, the entire show is good to great from start to finish, and manages to stick the landing and complete the rest of the Breaking Bad story in a satisfying and coherent way, while permanently changing the way you view the character of Saul. Shows like Game of Thrones and Succession fail to even come close to this level of consistent, top tier writing and see it through, and that's impressive. It is as good as Breaking Bad, in a different way, the character arc of Jimmy and his relationship with his brother and Kim, with Howard and the other characters are some of the most nuanced and deep works of writing that has been put in a show, and that's not even including the stuff with Mike and Nacho and everyone else. The character writing in Better Call Saul surpasses Breaking Bad, and I don't really think that's debatable. Even though the first part of the show is considered a "courtroom drama" with lesser stakes (though it's really about Jimmy and his relationships and goals in life), it still is so brilliantly written and manages to be tense and interesting.
It's criminal Rhea Seehorn never won an Emmy for her performance as Kim. I know you two are just starting this journey but I am sure she'll be one of your favorite characters long before you finish.
Everyone on this show should have won an emmy and no one did. Rhea for sure though, she and Bob and Michael and Patrick all should have honestly. And Banks.
Better Call Saul is a masterpiece, just like Breaking Bad. It’s also cool how the beginning of the seasons you get to see Saul after Breaking Bad, managing a Cinnabon in Omaha while being paranoid about being seen. Great reactions, hope you’re both doing well. Take care!
I absolutely loved Breaking Bad, but I think this show officially surpassed that around season 4 of BCS. The pace of the main storyline is slower to really get going, but it's so well written that it never was boring. Plus, the character development just ended up being way more in depth.
Do you think dates just fall on calendars like that?! They orchestrated it! Though considering they are already on 2x05 and 2x06 on Patreon I'd say sooner for them
I think you two will like this more than Breaking Bad. Walt is an incredibly character but he’s always kind of been a little pompous and insufferable lol. Jimmy is a much harder character to hate imo and the way his character developed is super intriguing. Not to mention the incredible side characters in the show as well.
You're in for a ride, personally I like BCS more than breaking bad because there's more dialogue and character focus. You'll love the drama! Also no Walter to hate 😂
@@John_Locke_108Are you fr ??? At least he got redemption in the final episode..... he faced the consequences of his actions .... saul was finally gone 😢
You are in for a treat. After finishing Breaking Bad, everybody is working at the top of their game from the start and ready to push the boundaries. Amazing filmmaking.
The show does a great job of making you feel as anxious about and invested in interpersonal drama as you did about any life or death situation in Breaking Bad.
"Who is that, is that Brenda" that will be so funny once you grow with her character and have her actual name stuck inside your mind. That's like calling Saul, hey is that John

I love Better Call Saul better than Breaking Bad, and I think by your reactions to BB you will too. 1st season is on the slow side, but I really love the slower pace of the show.
OMG, I am SO excited for this. Its a slow burn, but boy does it ramp up. Vince Gilligan and gang really honed their skills and cut their teeth on BB Now they are in their prime. the only thing is... I thought you were done with elephants standing on your chest and crushing anxiety.. lol, we know, Chad back there with the whip... well, I'm glad for it, this series is AMAZING and you will really enjoy it. Chuck has only been out of work for 1 year. No way in hell that a partner at a law firm is broke after a 1 year sabbatical. I mean hell, he doesn't even have an electrical bill to pay
The standout performer of this series for me is Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler). Loved her from the first scene I saw of hers on BCS. Immediately went on her IMDB page and was shocked how relatively few roles she has had over the years. Don't know how this beautiful woman has not been cast in a thousand movies. Consider myself a proud, charter member in the legion of Rhea Seehorn admirers. Wonderful actress.
The more time that passes, the more I find myself in the camp of thinking that Better Call Saul is better than Breaking Bad. I've never seen a spinoff series that exceeded expectations like this show, so I'm excited that you two get to experience this now!
Better Call Saul (BCS) does things in reverse. The "black and white" scenes are AFTER Breaking Bad, while the ones in color are before that show. Usually flashback scenes are in black-and-white, while current or future scenes are in color. Once again, this does it in reverse. Also, when each episode airs the intro, notice that it will slowly (ever so slowly, episode by episode) get 'worse' in quality. It is supposed to be that way, like watching an old analog videotape a hundred times, each viewing the video quality gets a little worse.
Here is TX the grocery store, HEB, sells Texas Wagyu ribeyes and NY strips. I have yet to find a steal house that's better than cooking those at home. BOA, Perry's, Bob's Chophouse, Eddie V's, ALC, Flemmings, none of them are as good as me jist cooking at home.

14:47 WHAT IS SO WEIRD ABOUT THAT? I REALLY need to know! Or is it just a typical zoomer/millenial misinterpreting something benign as if it's predatory and sexual.
Chuck's disorder is called EHS (Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity). It's sort of a real thing, but not in the way you're thinking. It's essentially a mental disorder where you think that you're allergic to electromagnetism so your body fills in the pain and discomfort when you think you've been exposed to it. So the symptoms seem real to the patient and it's very hard to convince them that they're not.
The start is a lot slower than BB, but the journey is so worth it. IMO the writing and directing got even better, more nuanced and complex than BB. The first two seasons have their lengths, but from season 3 onwards it just becomes increasingly good.
