Does the Blue m340i with the M Performance Exhaust have any other Upgrades like a downpipe or also an opf delete, or is it really just the back box. The different is hughe 🔥
@@GrzegorzPc sorry, I made a mistake in my previous answer. It’s NOT legal in EU. However, Im not sure that an OPF delete can be detected in emission control, at least for now
That’s the thing - as soon as different video content gets out there other than just top speeds, there will be more criticism. But hey more content! ;)
For all who say it's illegal in the EU, do the Politie stop and arrest drivers with an OPF delete for crimes against filters? Do the cars get confiscated and crushed for being illegal? Could owner go to prison? Asking for a friend.
@@barthendriks8581In Germany: Police stops you because car is too loud. It can get confiscated and TÜV will look for illegal mods like gpf delete. If they find illegal parts you have to go back to stock and show them again. Also you will be fined hard and you have to pay all costs (towing, inspection, parking @tüv)
@@Verknechter Yeah, true. I have worked in Germany for a few years and had many conversations and laughs about cars with my Eastern neighbours 😉 They always thought that we Dutchies would bend the rules (we just call it being pragmatic), I always joked that crossing a zebra-crossing at a slight angle is already considered HIGHLY illegal in Germany 😉 In NL your car cannot be too loud (I think 95 decibels is the max, so if your car is too loud you can get into issues with the police). Regarding the OPF delete: As long as you don’t give full throttle or keep the car under 4000rpm the car sounds almost stock. If you do that the Polizei would have no reason to stop you when visiting Germany 😉
@@barthendriks8581 I live in Germany so I always have to worry about that. 😅 Wish we were more pragmatic sometimes here, it really sucks. It’s like car guys are being automatically criminal. But a least we can buy a Ranger Raptor here for reasonable price without rear seat delete. 😜 So when the police stops you in NL your car is only allowed 95db? How do they measure that? At certain rpm?
This is illegal in EU. You should tell your viewers that you're illegally modfying vehicles and selling parts that will fail MOTs in any country inside EU, where I presume most of your fans and buyers of parts are.
@@SuperEman500 GPF delete is illegal no matter the shop that does it. It will not pass the emission test. Just for everybody criticizing me, I love tuned cars and I think all of the restrictions are ridiculous. It is just unprofessional from such a big car channel like AutoTopNL to not put up a warning that taking off the gas particulate filter will make the car road illegal. Many people don't know this. But at least they put the "do not try this" sign on every Autobahn run video they do, a warning for something that is perfectly legal, yet they advocate illegal modding of vehicles and illegal parts without notifying their viewers.
You do realize that any accident with this car and no insurance will back you up, right? So...aside from turning this thing into a noisy cringy car, what does that achieve exactly ?
@AutoTopNL Shame on you. After years of good videos, you now started to use illegal tuning on your car. You shouldn’t forget about your impact on your viewers. For some of us you are an idol - well, not anymore 👎🏽
AutoTopNL.shop for all your BMW upgrade parts 🏎️

I would also reccomend an xHP transmission tune, it's easy to do it yourself and it really changes the driving experience.

Illegal or not, its the customers choice. The price/part quality seems very good. Wish you guys had 330i parts as well 😢
Great video Martin, love the mods.
Thank you for your kind comment 😄
Nice difference,it really suits the car!
Kom je in Nederland door de APK met OPF delete?
Volgens een comment van autotopnl zijn ze er door heen gekomen.
@CasparPietersen maar ik zie een Belgisch kenteken. Belgische keuring heeft andere regels?
Yes! Zojuist met m’n eigen m340 erdoor gekomen
@@AutoTopnl okay. Mag ik weten waar? Bij mij ging het niet lukken.
Do a full tour of your facility next that would be great

Ik las ergens dat je met de MHD app en een random OBD adapter deze check kunt doen zonder MHD flash licentie.

No in EU

I think it’ll be hard for the police to ‘filter’ out the ones that did an OPF-delete 😉
