I'm guessing the supercharged ones suffer from overheating because of the extra power and heat. 702HP vs 420-500 for the 392s NA. My RAM TRX (which is supercharged) gets hot when I'm towing our heavy travel trailer on big hills for prolonged periods of time. Whereas my old Power Wagon which was the naturally aspirated 6.4 HEMI similar to the one in this car, never had any overheating issues when towing anywhere. The 392 HEMI is tuned for short burst of speed by SRT and the BGE 6.4 HEMI in RAM Power Wagon was more tuned for prolonged towing so cooling was no issue.
A lot of people forget (or don't realize) that the Charger/Challenger/300/Magnum platform is based on the old Mercedes-Benz W211 E-series platform, with a few W220 S-series suspension bits thrown in for good measure (and the engines were partly designed by M-B). The suspension of the S-series was fairly bulky, made to handle a fair amount of power while remaining stable in a straight line. It was made primarily for comfort and stability, not handling. The Chrysler LX platform is even bigger/heavier than the W211 platform it's based on, so it struggles with the extra heft, regardless of what spring/struts or tires you put under it. There's a reason why they started offering factory fender flare options, along with wider wheel/tire combos for these cars... when a car weighs 4400 lbs, with a big lump of V8 hanging over the front, it needs all the grip it can get to make it around a tight corner. I'd be curious to see how much better a base model could possibly handle a track, like this... I never see modified V6 models, yet they SHOULD be able to handle better due to the severely reduced weight (depending on year/trim, they weigh 200-500 lbs less).
While the v6 cars are lighter they also have different suspension and handle worse. I had one for 3 years as a commuter and it was slow, sounded awful and handed poorly. Thankfully it was cheap and reliable.

I can’t see….. is the stability control on or off
I didn't realize Bron Breakker owned a Charger !
Know I get why these cars like highway chases 😂
yesss i love it brother
It's crazy how Misha can make any car fly on the ring lol not expecting that lap from that car lol
Why is it “crazy”?? It’s his job.
@@Edizzle15 The car moving that way is crazy. It's sarcasm, it's not crazy in the slightest that Misha can drive any car faster than normal
Love these cars man❤❤
nice lap would be cool to see a challenger next
At least the owner was enjoying it. I mean, if you hand those keys to Misha, you best know he will bring out everything your car has to offer.
Interesting car, but I can't believe how slow it looks in the track
Because they were meant to only go fast in straight lines with low pressure drag radials
Camaros are best for track days
I dont like those cars too much, but it wasn't slow around the track. Obviously needs tires, but Misha drove it quite fast.
@@MT-cr1tofactory tires aren’t the greatest it’s worth upgrading them makes a huge difference
Okay that's badass
6:45 M3 competition 🔥♥️
Only thing that could of made this better is if you were wearing a yacht captain hat lol
bear in mind that this car is 2tons, wow, i liked the lap
I hope they put the scatpack in more future games
this can’t be real footage
they didn’t run out of gas
How did this car do compared to a BMW M3 or M5 ? Just wondering
Mopard Junk can’t compare. A Nissan Sentra does better in the ring then that big brick 🧱 🤣
like rooster told maverick, its not the plane, its the pilot!
If you close your eyes you would think the owner would be doing other things hahaha cool lap misha, nice to see other cars then BMW
Actually, Scatpacks come with 4 piston brembos at the front. 392s are actually the better version and come with the 6 piston brembos.
6 or 4 piston Brembos still can’t stop that overweighted boat 🛥️ 😅😂🤣
@@LP-bt4jktires are what make a car stop faster. How are euro people so stupid? Smh 🤦
@@LP-bt4jkthis is like you’re 20th comment hating on chargers lol.
@@angelcelis9090 carbon fiber hood on your boat still ain’t doing sheeii on that oversized tub 🛁. Hahaha 😂
Impressive for boat! You’re an amazing driver! I love seeing what my car is capable of, Love your work! Keep up the great work! Thank you!
crazy skill holy !!
Very nice car - reminds me on a E-Class Mercedes. Enought power to be able to handle it.
@@S8ER I'm talking about a modified one...
@@TumTunedthey can’t handle any power lol the pentastar v6 is already maxed out at 300 crank/peak HP
Hence stellantis making the hurricane In-line 6 cylinder
@ Suspension can be modified easily, though.
@@S8ER I can never remember a Mercedes E class handling as bad as one of these things . 😂
im pretty sure that is roughly the same as the scatpack performance wise
2016 Dodge Charger SRT 392: 4400 lbs (1995 kg). 2025 BMW M5: 5400 lbs (2450 kg). Let that sink in.
What would you rather have, a Tesla Model 3, or this?
There were no comments on the car at the end? xD
6.4L HEMI - there is no modern V8 that sounds better
Lol you can't be serious. Go listen to the shelby gt350r and aston martin gt8 and try again.
@@dylanp9211 Lol, only 4.7 and 5,2-Liter crippled motors. go listen a 6.4 HEMI > all
@mecke1312 crippled yet both of them would lap this car....maybe twice.
@@dylanp9211 We were talking about the sound and not about racetrack performance. A tuned Golf laps the crippled Ford three times. ;)
@HEADCHEAT9400 exactly then sound. That's why dodge loses even worse losing on the track and the driving experience/sound to those "crippled motors" a tuned golf isn't beating anything but a boat of a Hemi..weighs as much as a truck 💩 power to weight ratio.
