me. Best dollar I've ever spent.
I bought second hand PS special edition in gorgeous paperbook edition for couple $$$
I bought it for 700 CZK (27 €) from some random retailer shop and I still think it's the best 700 I have ever spent.
I pre ordered it for full price and haven't gone back to it since then.

@@wafflehouse5289 Lol, Sean Murray even got death threats just because of a month's delay for release. And it didn't live up to expectations which now it does. I am incredibly happy for them and thankful that they have continued supporting this game.

@@Evilwolf21 May have been some back end fixes, asset models being added in, or it could have been ground work for some of this update that they had finished by then, a little trick to lower the size of a larger update by sneaking in some of the files in with the patches.

Set graphics to default, restart game, set to low.
Worked for me, apparently there is a glitch when adjusting graphics and that was the fix. My pc is 10 years old, geforce 960....bad lol
I’d like to see an update that adds player and npc factions and allows for you to go to war. That’s my dream update.
I would love to be able to go to gek, korvax and vykeen home worlds or at least some kind of city hub on a planet would be awesome.

I think that won't happen. NMS is about explore, not war, but it would be very cool :D
My dream update is a Galaxy map that allows functional travelling. I can't understand why some QoL aren't there yet.
- 2D View with orbits for range, showing all the system's in range
- Able to plot a course over multiple systems (Manual pathing, using the same system as the auto quest pathing ).
- Option to automatically jump as far as possible, when doing a path/questline.
Just to name a few basic improvements

the most important part of this trailer is that THE TRAILER GIRL IS FINALLY BACK
I can't believe how much this game has improved since launch. Honestly one of the most remarkable stories in indie gaming.
The attitude of continuing production to this point without being defeated by the initial criticism gives courage to the creators.!
Awwww man i love that i bought this game in 2017 it really helped me through so much especially in 2018 when i was suffering through depression. I love Hello Games and they will have my money and respect in the future

Don't get me wrong, I love that they decided to stick with it for so long, but I am a little sad we haven't received any new ship parts since launch other than the alien ships

To be honest, if this game doesn’t exist I would never have any expectations for Cyberpunk 2077 to come back.
Not every game gets the chance No Mans Sky got, and not every company cares as much as Hello Games do. No Mans Sky was utterly lucky that people were playing it at all to even notice the changes. If a miracle like that happened again I’d be shocked to be entirely honest

I bought this game on release, loved it then. Just gets better and better. Possibly one of the best games ever released, and I have been gaming since the early 80s, and involved in game development for many years.

@@celphalonred1999 Look, fanboy... Cyberpunk 2077 receive recently a huge patch fixing truckloads of bugs and glitches. You would know that if you was smart enough to keep with the news. And I not even buyed Cyberpunk 2077 yet -- the Xbox One S, One X and X Series are too expensive here in Brazil. But I intend to buy it as soon as it's definitively fixed. Why? because unlike kiddies like you, I am mature enough to recognize a potentialy good game when I see it.
If no man sky came out today it would probably be the most popular game for the year.
If it was less performance demanding and they polished out the online and survival mechanics/menus to a crazy level this game could easily become the next Minecraft with it's broad appeal.
Not that it isn't already insanely popular already and already going to stay that way🤣
For me, no man's sky already has the same status as the games "Turrican", "Giana Sisters" and "The Last Ninja".
Without these games, something terrific would be missing.

I've started this game last November after years of waiting, finally I found the time to start pushed by some friends that started gaming at the same time. I put already 100 hours and would be more if it wasn't for work. I have to say, I am so proud of you guys for all of your achievements, especially after a rough start at the launch. I remembered being so fascinated by the first trailer and sad when I learned things didn't go as planned. But now, years later, I am addicted to this game and every update is an amazing news. Congrats, keep doing awesome work, and thank you for all your hard work and time you put on this game. It is truly a masterpiece.

Really love how this game has far, FAR surpassed the 2014 trailer yet still gets support. hello games is getting on tiers of rockstar here with their stuff. Hopefully CD Projekt Red does the same.
The way this team of developers acted after review bombardment on initial release is what is called HONOR.
The trait most AAA companies missing these days.
No excuses, no whiny blabbering to press, no blaming player base for being "just toxic players".
They sucked it up, landed into their working chairs and kept patching and finishing what they could not finish in time.
This studio earned my highest respect not with their words, but with their deeds.

In case anyone is wondering the song is called Pacify and it’s by the same band who created the game music.
I really like the fact that the lady Is back. It says that the game is long from being over. That we are doing things to help make the game amazing, and that the mysteries of NMS are being solved, togeather.
I never stopped loving this game, and am even writing a fic over at the ETARC forums which I hope Sean and the team find inspiring.
This video is super inspiring itself.

I remember how hyped I was years ago when I pre-ordered the limited edition of this and got a t-shirt with the NASA logo but saying No Man's Sky Adventures on it. I'm really glad I did that now seeing how brilliantly the game is turning out to be thanks to the hard work and passion from the people over at Hello Games

@@NanocDark99 It's hard to explain. It has a lot of content that gets better and better with every update. You can explore space, play with friends, shoot stuff, build a base, play it in VR, tame cute alien animals, follow an interesting story ( if you like reading) and soo much more. More content will also be added the future. No DLCs all of the updates are free.
The comunity of No Man's Sky nicest and most welcoming I've ever seen.

I don't know how they do it, but Hello Games is the model developer right now. NMS is an incredible achievement and more studios should take cues from how it's been released and maintained.
With rendezvous planets comes to possibility for certain scripted story and set piece events to be added that have been hand designed instead of just product generation, which I think would add so much to the game in the way of making it feel like an actually world/galaxy where things happen and actual aliens live in/have lived in while still maintaining the spirit of the endless and procedural galaxy of NMS as the it would inspire you to go out exploring with more of a purpose into the rest of the galaxy which would still be designed procedurally
I don't know if they are planning on taking advantage of this in the particular way that im bringing up, but I think it would be an amazing thing if they did
As great as all the procedural stuff is and having these unqiue indivdual experiences, it would add so much to sometimes also have these specific community experiences that we can all witness and be part of together at the same time on the same planet
Like maybe if there was some sort of countdown uncovered and we all knew some mad shut was going down on a specific planet at a specific time a week from now or whatever so everybody had time to travel to that planet and all be part of this big event as a community

Every single update I've ever gotten for no mans sky it seems that it's always the same and never changes when I actually start playing it.
Most updates in past year have been incredible dude specially the update they did few months back it added more planet types and stars I ended up with multiple stars in my system and and new moon and animals

@@NevTheDeranged Yeah but a proper playlist would be nice. Listening to two songs on repeat gets old pretty quick, these are the only ones I know that fit the vibe. I don't feel like the original sound track of No Man's Sky sounds as hopeful and blissful as the track in this trailer for instance.
