Your videos are awesome! Would you be able to make one on deck stairs side facias the various options for them with their pros and cons? I have to build some stairs for my deck, and I want to use deck boards for the side skirting and facias. If I were to use classic stringers framing, I wouldn't be able to bring the side skirting all the way down to the ground (i.e. from the side, you'd be able to see under the stairs). Is there a solution for that? Would box framing the stairs solve the issue? Or is there a better solution?

The powerstack 1.7 amp with charger is $87. But the dewalt 5amp XR battery with charger is $99. Gonna still go for the 5 amp because price almost same.i would imagine, there's probably a huge power difference between the 1.7 amp and 5amp for (almost)about the same price $87.vs $99
The power stack is stronger I have both and it last longer and way less weight
2 question:
- Was the old style battery new, or used? I just got a replacement battery, same model, and the new one is noticeably stronger.
- Can you compare the battery temperatures after ripping a few feet with the saw? My battery usually dies because it is overheated. Then after cooling it down, it goes some more, and then depletes.
It would be nice to see some such heavy duty comparison where you drive it until dies, wait how quickly it cools down, using it again as soon as it cools down, etc…
Both batteries were brand new.

The different types of Li batteries offer different characteristics. It’s why you see different batteries in cars and phones. A car battery has less power per volume, but has more recharge cycles. Some types have greater power delivery. So manufacturers use what best fits the usage expected. There is no “best” Li battery. The Powerstack batteries have a high peak power output, but they will run out of power more quickly, because the amp hour rating gives the total amount of power the battery contains.
I can screw off a 12 foot sheet in about 30 seconds with just the regular 20v xr

Cool vid thanks for the content dewalt paddle bits are average at best diablo are best. I'm sorry just facts dewalt will do the job like every other paddle bit out there but they dont hold a candle to diablo. especially the nail biter ones they have. So to say they are some of the best I dont quite agree with opinions tho.

At this point the 4AH compact, 5AH XR and 6AH XR are more than sufficient. Need more? Flexvolt. These PowerStack batteries are way over-priced. Maybe in the future when the AHs go up they might be worthwhile. Anyone who pays the normal retail price for batteries is throwing money away. Almost always a bargain or two available. I value a brand new 5AH at $50. My favorite recent purchase was twin pack 4AH compact with 6AH XR at Home Depot for $100. Bigger cells in these than in the 5AH.
Not overpriced. The pouch batteries are more expensive. But it does have noticeably higher performance. Go to the Torque Test Channel.

lipo explode and dangerous why would they use old technology? they do look better but why isn't the ev manufacturers using this also?
They’re ok if you wanna run like 2 screws into something or make one cut with your saw but other than that they don’t last for shit!!!! Waste of money in my honest opinion, I frame houses for a living and yeah the size and weight are great run time really sucks!!!!!!
