Sadly I think we're sleep walking in to private health care and the U.S have a major hand in it. My elderly mother is about to start her second bout of surgery. The first was by a private firm operated by a multinational and the second much the same owned specifically by primarily U.S interests. NHS doctors working private. All billed to the NHS who "don't have the staff or facilities to do the work". I can't imagine why!!
In the US many are left dead or untreated, and or bankrupt due to our for profit healthcare system. The broken system has claimed hundred of thousands peoples lives. Our system is the prime example of what not to do.
... and that is not the fault of healthcare companies but the politicians who allow it, and the people who vote for them. The ACA has a nearly 15% higher approval rating than Obamacare. For those who don't know ... they are the same healthcare law.
Man, this guy murders a CEO and now LBC is having a discussion on the death penalty. Lets be honest, the majority of us condemn the attack but to some degree, sympathise with Luigi as he highlights a serious issue in America. The media on the otherhand, instead of recognising the issue are more interested in protexting the rich.
Recent polls in the US show as much as 40% DO NOT condemn what Mangione did. And given what people would choose to tell polls openly this number is most likely low.
The media also supports invasions under the guise of rescuing oppressed populations, but in reality, these wars are driven by the desire to seize resources. They whitewash the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, framing the violence as a noble cause while obscuring the true motivations behind the conflict.

@Anon-commenter Wrong. January 6th was a protest that got unruly. What Luigi Mangione did was an act of domestic terrorism, which makes anyone who supports him a complete monster.
Jan 6th criminal terrorists attempted an insurrection based on false information and the encouragement of bad actors. Mangione acted against REAL social injustice. These are NOT the same.
A symbol of the anger people feel towards corporations and Capitalism.
I suspect he is not alone.
Neoliberalism.
Capitalism encourages competition, not cartels.
The same capitalism that made his family wealthy?

American style healthcare for the Uk anyone? or shall we give the NHS the cash it required to operate.🤔🏴⛄️
💯
NHS should never be lost.....but it needs reforming, Labour should sort it out properly - not just throw more money at it.

Let’s have a German style healthcare system.
The powerful never willingly give anything to the plebs
You gotta take it... somehow

@Gabriel_H77 . Your list should NOT exclude the Health Care Companies. They are part of a nexus of predatory exploitation. 😮😢😮

Yeah boi !!!!!
I claim to be Superman....doesn't make it so. If the guy did it, he needs to be dealt with as the law dictates.
I just got a video recommended by the RUclips algorithm of a 10 year old TED talk warning the rich about the coming pitchforks.
Is it the one with the guy who owns a bank and totally destroys "trickle down" with a comment about buying trousers ? Legendary video
@martinhenry7362 That's the one.
I recall one of the Amazon lot warning this? Tumbrils though he said. Same thing I suppose.

I'm not in favour of violence but his not guilty plea is the same as Rittenhouse claiming defence.
He only pled guilty he hasn’t put up a formal defense.
@ciaranbrk as originally did Rittenhouse.
I mean it's not really the same if we're being honest
@BigPurpleCarrot what's the difference?

Not guilty,
Bro put his life on the line for what he believes, that’s not cowardice. You’d think the English would understand what their own words mean
So did the 9/11 attackers. What's your point? Violence is ok if you agree with it? What makes your point of view right and someone else's wrong?
