I remember playing this game and stuck for hours trying to find a way to the batcave. can you imagine how funny it to see batman trying to remember where is the batcave? hahaha
Hi everyone! Thanks for watching. I'll be uploading many more game movies again starting this week. Keep an eye out for game movies for the Mass Effect Trilogy, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, and, of course, Grand Theft Auto V.
all 3 games were the best, hands down, no arguments, not because of graphics, not because of gameplay, or what critics say, anybody that grew up being fan while growing up in the 90s is gonna play these games and agree, no hesitation
This game and Arkham City in my opinion, are the finest performances for Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as Batman and the Joker. Conroy has Batman being dark, brooding, cold, calculating, and badass as hell, but still human. Meanwhile, Hamill has the Joker being the perfect combination of the clown and the killer, being flamboyant and outrageous with a twisted joke to everything he does, but still very, very, VERY insane and even more so deadly. It's just two absolutely perfect performances by two fantastic voice actors as the greatest superhero of all time (Conroy as Batman) and greatest supervillain (Hamill as the Joker) of all time.
Anyone else thinks that it's time for Batman, with all his super high tech arsenal, to have something for detecting Scarecrow's hallucinogenic gases before they affect him, and use his breathing mask whenever he is in the danger zone? Batman was a ridiculously easy target for Scarecrow's common trick throughout this game. It was so disappointing to watch him fall for it every time.
I think it was in the animated movie where they go to the parallel earth and Bats fights Owlman, he tries to use knockout gas on him and a breather automatically covers up the exposed part of his cowl.
Jon Fishsticks Thanks for your input, Jon. Looks like whoever wrote the script for this game, either forgot about that or chose to ignore it. While that gave us a number of cool scenes (where Batman hallucinates), it made Batman look like a loser.
See the guest list? Catwoman Two-Face Mad Hatter Clayface Killer Croc Penguin Ventriloquist Luke Oliver (the one armed inmate from 1:08:32) and also the contest winner to have his name and face star in the game!
I can't wait to get this for Christmas, along with the other 2 batman games. Do you guys have any suggestions about good DC and Marvel games I should play for the ps3? Thanks a bunch!
You'll love the Batman Arkham games! They're awesome. I'd recommend X-Men Origins: Wolverine the game, Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions, and Injustice: Gods Among Us. There are more but I can't think of them at the moment. Those are the ones that came to mind first, though. Great games!
Hey, I get u had to cut some of the gameplay out to make it two hours, but u should of played the 60's Batman theme and do the original transitions where the Bat symbol would come up and spin as u cut to the next scene, that would've been awesome and hilarious.
When Batman first experienced Scarecrow's Fear Gas back at the morgue [33:11-39:00]he was "just" able to overcome it because he has the mental fortitude of a Grand Master Ninja, but from then onwards he had to take down countless Thugs, fight Bane and entertain Joker's schemes which nonetheless took its toll on him. This stress along with increased exposure to the Fear Gas actually caused Batman's Will to be considerably depleted which is why at [52:40-56:00] the Fear Gas manages to momentarily breach Bruce Wayne's mental fortress(which is Batman by the way)leaving him alone to deal with the Gas,and since the Fear Gas makes him turn 8 years old again in the context of that one night where it all began, its obvious that Bruce Wayne's ultimate fear is Helplessness. The whole segment is from the perspective of an 8 year old Bruce Wayne's Nightmare, and that is abundant due to how incompatible his tone of voice is with his Father's;according to Thomas Wayne's dialogue,Bruce insisted on them seeing The Mark Of Zorro again,Thomas Wayne says this in a very warm and affectionate tone, and yet Bruce responds to it with a vehement plea as if his Father just scolded him. This is likely because the dialogue actually happened but not in the way its conveyed in Bruce's mind. Most likely,Bruce nagged his Mother to go see a Movie he already saw because he was spoilt little Rich-Kid,his Mother persuaded his Father to bring them and Thomas was rightfully irritated by Martha pampering the Boy,thus reprimanding him afterwards, but Martha defended Bruce because she was likely a little overbearing. All this is so,because this hallucination is in the form of a Dream. And in a Dream everything is "Ultimate","Symbolic" and "Subjunctive".In The Dark Knight Returns,a old and weary Bruce Wayne states how he has seen his parents die countless times in his dreams,I believe this Scarecrow segment to be such an instance. But because Dreams are wishes, the segment serves as a kind of Subconscious Projection-Bruce's Unconscious Mind is clouding and altering key things in the Dream to give him a little respite. So regardless of what actually happened,Bruce ultimately perceives his Father as warm, nurturing and protective and his Mother as coddling whereas Bruce's dialogue "I'm sorry Daddy",probably never happened and is actually a projection of what he always wanted to say to his Father;a vulnerable, solemn, innocent "I am so sorry Daddy".But the most incontrovertible evidence for the argument that this segment is completely in the perspective of an 8 year old Bruce wayne is how Joe Chill is conveyed...an absolute monster with a scary voice. If this was Batman's POV then Chill would have been registered with utter Bloodlust. If you listen carefully when Joe Chill fires his gun,you can hear swarming Bats within the cacophony of each bullet's discharge. This gives the impression that the Bats escaped furtively from the Murderer's gun barrel to form a sanctum of Darkness up ahead to resist the harsh world that was forced upon Bruce.Chill had no Idea that the two shots he fired gave birth to a creature that would grow up to be the scourge of Criminals. The distraught and despondent 8 year old Boy leaves the bodies of the two people who were his world, who made him feel safe and bliss, wandering down the alley to enter the haven of Darkness that the Bats created for him,and emerged from the other side as The Batman.
Lol every time I see the cutscenes from the last Scarecrow fight I think about the time about five years ago when I was watching a friend play this in his dorm. When he got to the part where the intercom goes "Did anyone catch the game last night?" and the game "glitches" and goes to a cutscene similar to the opening, he thought his Xbox messed up and corrupted his game file so he got pissed and threw his controller through the wall because he thought it was making him start over at the beginning. Some thoughts about the video itself, I thought the music from the Dark Knight Rises was unnecessary and also thought that the subtitles could've been done away with.
love that music on the beginning from the dark knight rises. i loved playing this game. characters are portrayed at their best by their actors, story is awesome and beautifully executed. one of my favorite games ever and i think this should be made into a movie. you have done great job editing this into a movie and thanks for the upload.

Goon: you lookin' for a goon? Two Face: sure, Goon: any health benefits? Two Face: no, but Joker has dental Goon: how do you know that? Two Face: you seen his smile? That shit is beautiful
The two tracks playing at the end were from Zimmer's score for the Dark Knight saga. The rest is original. The uploader sped up the credits and changed the music only at the end.
You don't have to be smarter than someone to trap them. Joker is smart enough to be able to prepare complex plans and execute them but Batman is that much smarter than he always gets out of it. The Riddler is Batman's smartest enemy and Batman is still smarter.

Love the musical additions to this. Absolutely perfect.

Alligator/crocodile shoes. Killer Croc. Get it?
Best arkham games story wise

I agree
I think the most scariest part was when you are into the Morgue. *Shudders*
Did you really just add "Deshi Basara" to the Bane fight? Epic! Loved it!!!
Batimani:

Read the description. It says it is composed of custscenes AND GAMEPLAY. The cutscenes don't tell the whole story.

That part with Bruce as a kid always gets me a little choked up...
1:26:45 thought my friends TV was broke when we played this part
got to admit, love you edit.
It's on pc plus some lag
This game proves that scarecrow can be the main villain in the arkham city sequel. Hopefully rocksteady puts him and hush as the two main villains
This comment aged poorly...

I think Scarecrow is by far the most awesome and dangerous villain. Glad to see that the easter eggs in Arkham city suggest he'll be back.
I thought my computer was fucked at 1:26:40
I thought the same thing when it started doing that !
Did anyone else notice they he skipped an entire scarecrow battle
Thanks for this awesome game movie. It was awesome. Now I am going to go beat the game. Thanks for the hints.
Joker has to be one of the best villains ever. XD He is so comical. He doesn't take it so seriously as other villains do... he has fun with his acts.
So many great characters, Poison Ivy is fascinating! Epic games ^^
love that music on the beginning from the dark knight rises. i loved playing this game. characters are portrayed at their best by their actors, story is awesome and beautifully executed. one of my favorite games ever and i think this should be made into a movie. you have done great job editing this into a movie and thanks for the upload.

48:30 The Batcave
the badass moment when batman says i ll never let you win, wow that was badass
When the joker said, "You little minx i can never stay mad at you," it was a quote similar to another what another joker said in an animated series.
Really loving the channel, will definitely check out some more. Thanks for creating great content!
17:59 that's what you came here for!
Great Edit
Get the one from Google, it's on the AppStore. If I'm correct, you can do pretty much any thing you can do on the website.
Arkham Asylum-Batman: It's me remember? Harley Quinn's Revenge- Robin:It's me remember? Batgirl/Oracle:You sound just like him.
I love how you added dark knight music
56:40 why did you cut out the scare crow scene?
Cool video. Keep up the amazing work. I will certainly be back to see more content.

This game brings back so many memories, i still remember giving the joker his make up.
I never noticed the music playing in the background at the beginning was the chant the prisoners chanted in the dark knight rises.
Batman: "No, I work better alone."
*cough* *cough* Robin
how much time did it take you to download arkham asylum on pc
I'm sure Scarecrow would be delighted to hear that people think he's creepy. His life dream to invoke fear.
1:46:50 batman signature move from the animated series :D
you did an awesoem job on this movie/game
what is the music when Batman defeats the joker? Can't find it in the soundtrack.
I just realized how much detective mode has evolved from asylum to origins.
Was it necessary to include music from The Dark Knight Rises?
I like that the person who made this video put the dark knight rises music in the beginning
You can still work alone when you have a sidekick. They can both go solo and cover their own missions.
The beginning music from The Dark Knight Rises ? Awesome ! :D
How do u open up the elevator at 33:05?
It opens for you.
Wow the voices at the start are from the dark knight rises. I know what you did there :)
Great upload love it!!
what do you mean?
same voices in Batman The dark Knight Rises.. when batman tries to make the jump at the pit :p.. they used the voices :p
flapdrol102 this came out before the dark knight rises.... waaaay before, and I noticed no changes in the dialogue
ow ok :p
Reiss Oliver The "Deshi Deshi Basara" which is Bane's theme written by Hans Zimmer for the Dark Knight Rises is clearly played over the game audio in the beginning. Doesn't matter if the game came out before the movie, you can edit the audio in any video program.
I love how on 5:11 Batman didn't flinch. #aintnevascared
Bane's voice dark night rises "idiots I'll just snap bat mans back my work here is done
No, when you solve riddles in Arkham City, you get little stories to read. Scanning the big bear of Krank Toy Co. gives you Bane's story and how he came to be in Arkham City.
I love that the Bat shadow is centered below little Bruce.
just something about the dark knight rises chant music that is so epic i love it!
