Hey , you are missing Quincy, FL. By far one of the most devastatingly poor towns I’ve seen. 43.6% Poverty . Roughly 8k people. Worse than any slum i’ve seen and i’ve lived in Collier, Broward, Hillsborough and now Leon. Commenting because towns like Quincy that are north (towards state line) between big bend & panhandle are always overlooked. Just a suggestion to look into the area. That being said, Great video keep it up🙏🏼

Interesting video! POVERTY is in all cities across Florida. But some are worse than others as your video points out which was well researched! Florida is a cesspool of poverty because it is getting ever-increasingly overpopulated. The more populated, the higher the poverty, drug addiction and homeless. I noticed panhandlers have increased a great deal over the years. Maybe 10 years ago it was rare you seen a panhandler and in the Winter. Now they are everywhere and year around. The traffic is also a disaster. I live in Florida but never heard of the cities you mentioned. Thank God.

In some cities panhandlers are part of a drug ring. 1 panhandler always at the intersection of Penn and Crosstown 62 Crosstown 62 in Richfield Minnesota was spotted when we were down on I-4 in Florida he even recognized us and waved... oh my gosh they get out of Minnesota for the winter. One of our neighbors in the apartment building regularly brings in $60,000 a year panhandling in the Minneapolis area

Greetings from the UK, Southern Life -
I'm English, and Jewish. Some years ago I went to Poland to try to establish the actual fate of members of my mother's extended family, who were wiped out by the Nazis and their surrogates. What you spoke of in Top 10 Most Racist Places In USA - practised racism, honed over many generations - is exactly what I encountered - amongst SOME Poles - once they knew I was "a Jew". And behind at least some of that was a SELF-loathing, resentment, projected guilt - all that! Even younger, educated, apparently reasonable, progressive people might suddenly say something so bitter - as if reproaching the missing Jews of Poland, for silently "reproaching" them! And by extension, me. It was eerie. I left two days earlier than I'd intended. These legacies can feel overwhelming. If I go again, I'll be fore-warned, and less naive/open.
A PS: I spent 3 weeks in New Orleans in 1998 - and I was so struck by the anger I saw, heard, felt, among young Black men in certain areas in particular - that was an education.
    Thank you for your work.

A sad but true video. And I could add Liberty City and Over Town in the Miami area. I moved to North Florida 13 years ago. But things are getting worse here too. Hurricane Michael destroyed 1000 buildings in Bay County. And now rent has doubled everywhere. So don't come here unless you got money.

Proverty is happening all over Florida. We have all these rich people moving in on us causing our taxes to go sky high and then they turn around and sell their house and move.
Let's not forget those Karen's and Ken's that doesn't help matters none. They move here to Florida, thinking that they are going to change things for the best....but it doesn't work out. They have to realize is that the locals, are the ones who are going to keep your business running, especially during the off season.
Let's also don't forget if the place where the out of towners, moved to doesn't have the drug, of their choice...they will have it shipped in and get others hooked on it as well.

Immokalee is Seminole for My Home. We're monopolized by land owners and the rich in Naples. Our county refuses to call us a city, yet we're harassed by cops at stop signs looking into people's cars to see if they're wearing seat belts. They don't do that in rich neighborhoods or in the city. We are a family community no matter what the struggle. When a person dies in our town, community ALWAYS helps out. From coin jars at the corner store, selling lunch plates to donating some of your rent money to bury a local. We still celebrate our loved ones who have passed at the cemetery near the ballpark. The plots are adorned with the latest holiday decorations family have put together. At night it lights up like a Christmas lighted neighborhood. We have several known Ex NFL players who are dedicated to helping the youth. We have highly educated people who live and work here. Most have grown up working in the fields so they know education is a way out.
