I think one big reason the gangs are so prevalent in FL is the fact that in the late 70's early 80's, FL was the main route of most of the drugs, or at least the coke that came up from South America. My cousin, who lived in Bartow, says the Polk County was the first stopping point for smugglers driving north, namely, Lake Wales. Back in the 80's there was a lot of meth too, according to him, especially in Alturas, just east of Bartow.
Real good stuff. This is where you shine. There could have been more detail, but that would for sure get you taken down. RUclips is a business, and advertisers do not want to be associated with gangs.
I live in Manatee county, right next to Bradenton. I def agree it has the worst homeless problem. Driving around Bradenton and seeing all the homeless with signs or sleeping out in the open, it’s really sad. I keep wishing someone could come up with housing or communities where they’d have a place to call home. Even if it’s tiny. They have possessions they have to travel with each day to keep from losing the little they’ve accumulated 😢
I stayed in Bradenton when I was a troubled teen with my Grandparents. It was literally like an episode of cops where one side of the tracks was beautiful and safe and the other a ugly ghetto

Very seasonal, over saturation of people doing exactly what you want to do means there’s already more pizza places open than customers walking in. Its fun place to snowbird and a depressing year round site. Safe, yes. Most areas. Dunedin is nice.
Clearwater would be a good place to live and start a business depending on you want to do. It’s not a depressing place. There are a lot of snowbirds but if you find a good house in the regular neighborhoods you probably won’t notice much of that seasonal influx. One of the things that is really good about Clearwater is that it is an incorporated city. Like any larger city there are good areas and bad areas.

As someone who lives in Jacksonville, you're spot on. But with that said, you just have to know what areas to avoid, like what Jose said. If you don't go to the bad parts of town, then you can be relevantly safe in Jacksonville. I've lived in Jacksonville for most of life and never been a victim of crime, except for when my parent's VCR and my Sega Genesis got stolen back in the 90s.
with the work i do, i end up in bad areas too often
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS true, but I do like the fact that you get the good and parts of an area and you don't give a sugarcoated opinion of a place.
I work Jax a few months a year. Stay east of the St Johns river & downtown & you avoid 90% of problems. Jax beach, Atlantic Beach, ponte vedra are all a world away from the west side of Jax, but only a few minutes drive away.
@@wayneanderson8034 as someone who lives in Jacksonville year round, you're spot on
@@wayneanderson8034 I generally agree, but Jax beach is less safe than the other beaches. There are pockets of higher crime areas in Arlington and south side too…
I lived in FLORI-DAH for the past 71 years and seen it grow, As I grew up in South Miami and Lauderdale from the 50's to 70's , it was nice back then . Every city has its problems , even the smaller towns , there is always the Hood area .
Very informative. Thank you.
Excellent report. Thank you!
It would be nice if you did a video on the top 10 best cities to live in with the best schools for a family.
Hernando county
I would argue that Jacksonville is more dangerous than Miami
Miami still more dangerous more drug dealing
Thanks to Donna Deagan..she NEEDS TO GO!!!!🎯💯
I live in Palm Beach County and we have two cities on this list. He’s on point!
Most dominant i believe here in Fla are Zoes, LK, Bloods and GD. But you got to consider the mexican cartels are here as well.
Naw not GD FL is LDN aka MLDz.
The problem is poverty. Florida is over priced and over valued. It truly sucks.
Cheaper than other states
@@toniesedrick691 then please, don't move here. If you are here already, bye-bye!
@@kaykartz9167 Good riddance .
Living in Florida, you’re paying for the location, the warm weather and the ocean (paradise, obviously only pertains in some areas after watching this video), explains why housing is high.
The midwest housing prices are ridiculous. They are trying to keep up with CA and Florida and it shouldn’t be like that.
How about Liberty City, Overtown, Opalaka, and Little Haity? There is no shortage of bad areas in south Florida.
That's all in miami also most of south florida is really not that bad
@@ArtSmosh1274Opa Locka is its own incorporated city. It actually has separate crime statistics- inclusive of the infamous Triangle.
Arcadia?? Fort pierce is way worse than that, it should have been at least number 10
When he said Arcadia I had to look at the title again 😂😂😂 ain’t nothing out there but livestock and money.
@@CamdenMade Orange trees and cattle. New Publix shopping center too! Old down town is a MUST see for tourists.
I live in arcadia bro it ain't bad. You showed one hood.... and some old houses beat up by Ian. Idk about gangs...poverty? Yes in areas. Biggest problem here is illegals.
I was surprised Loose county wasn't mentioned at all. Ft Peirce get down
@@CamdenMadeLakeland over Arcadia. Winter haven is worse.

Great job on your information and report, God Bless Your Great Success 😇❤️🌹. Absolutely Amen 🙏
This native Floridian approves the completely accurate video!! Born in Hollywood raised in Fort Lauderdale Davie sunrise … oh yea Very sad. Very sad.
I wasn't born in Florida but I've been raised for over 37 years here and yes indeed the change has been severe
We left 'Lauderdale in 87' due to overcrowding and our area of Sunrise becoming overrun with a lower-class of renters. So happy to be in Volusia Co. now. There is moderate gang activity in D.B. and Deltona however.
@@fredwalton8592I’ve lived in Daytona Beach area since 79 and I totally agree 🤙🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻
NO ONE in politics talking about how to solve this problem. Except one person and they want to lock him up instead. We're f*ked.
Thank you! 👍
Im from Lauderdale and i live here currently bruh it goes down every day fr . Shit been a warzone last 4 years
Really I moved from Oakland, CA to Fort Lauderdale it feels kinda like the suburbs lol
@@hamburger3009 u must live under a rock or maybe just to far away from the hood in the suburbs of course it's a different reality but in the hood people getting shot everyday fasho
I mean it has gotten worse in ft. Lauderdale but I'm from Miami in the 90's I moved to Lauderdale and it was much safer here 😂
I’m from the Dale too bruh, I know crime and violence been outta hand but I ain’t think we had the worst gang problem in the state, Yak got the Z’s up
I from Memphis loved on through Broward they got they little pockets but coming from the M this shit more laid back
I appreciate your content about Florida thanks man .
Miami Garden for those of us that live here is Carol City. The name was changed to get people to move in. By changing the name the crime rate started from zero.
Thank you for the video and exposing the ignorance of the state at the highest level. People are just sleeping and disconnected from the light of us.
I lived in Lakeland for 18 years there is one area that has a problem but it's not bad.
Good job!! Thanks for truthful informatiin!! Thank you for being brave.
I love the Tampa Bay area of Florida, especially Pinellas County. Nice beaches, parks, and entertainment.
I just wanted to let you know you did an amazing job on this video I watched lots of your videos but you did a standout job on this one

Hey brother. 1'st time watching
Been in Florida 45yrs! I'm ready to say good bye to this state
Aint much left
😊Thank you for this valuable information. I must say you have done a great job dealing with the sensitivity of the area.
Thanks for the info.Great to know what’s going on.👍
Real good stuff. This is where you shine. There could have been more detail, but that would for sure get you taken down. RUclips is a business, and advertisers do not want to be associated with gangs.
I also don’t want gangs bothering me so.. details are limited 😊
Drugs and addiction its sad life
Thank you for posting this video. I haven't been to South Florida for years. A lot has changed. 😮
BS!! For the better now that some are gone back to commie states!!
High five for posting this. You are the MAN!
I stayed in Bradenton when I was a troubled teen with my Grandparents.
It was literally like an episode of cops where one side of the tracks was beautiful and safe and the other a ugly ghetto
I'm curious about the censorship. I'm assuming it was YT who took down some of you vids? With all the garbage on YT and other platforms why they would take down videos similar to this one is beyond me.
I'm a Florida resident and found this video informative and enlightening. It was about 50/50,info I was aware of /not aware. Thanks for your time and effort producing it and hopefully YT doesn't do anything stupid and leaves it up
THE PROBLEM IS INCOMPETENT JUDGES
Important information, thank you~
Is Clearwater FL a good place to open a business and live a safe life?
It’s beautiful in Clearwater got one of if not the best beach in America
The beach is a literal money machine. I've worked in the food/produce industry as well as event planning.
Tons of opportunities. Seasonal bartenders I know can make 2k in a week during the "season"
I’m looking at Clearwater that’s where my family from I never been there myself but looking to connect with them
Well presented, And well stated. Thank you.
West Palm Beach I stayed there during one Spring Training.
Cross the wrong bridge and they are running down the street barefoot with AKs shooting.
Riviera beach is beautiful but dangerous
Djdon the master of music
I’m from the south Bronx and moved to Lakeland and it’s Paradise compared to NYC, definitely doesn’t belong on this list
i was JUST in lakeland tonight, literally jsut got back. clearly there are gangs, drive around at 2 AM around wabash and see. Polk County homicide rate is 3X higher than NYC if you didnt know. incomes are 1/5... keep thinking its sweet
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Try traveling in NYC by the MTA .. the city is becoming a Third World City.. The lawlessness due to the no bail reform, the police make the arrests and the courts let the criminals walk..The shop lifting, the robberies at local stores.. With no way for the owners to claim.. Stand Your Ground… I will never go back.. I lived there for over 50yrs.. There’s no law and order compare to Florida..
Thanks for the informative information. Stay Alert. Stay Awake not Woke!
Have visited Ft. Lauderdale many times since the 1970’s and up until recently. I’ve never understood it’s appeal. Aside from being a major flood zone it has always just looked kinda’ dumpy!
The area around US 1 & east is some of the richest on Earth, that's the appeal of Fort Lauderdale. It's one of a few destinations on Earth for the mega yachts, bringing in millions of $ in support. If you want to buy a new Lambo, McLaren, Ferrari, Bentley new or used the dealers are all on US 1 close together. Aside from that area,Ft Lauderdale is a dump few want to even drive thru. It's sketchy & lawless thruout west of & around 95.
Well done video & info. Thx for putting it out. Not surprised by many of the cities u mentioned.

I was thinking of moving to Malibu California. Thanks for the information.
FL needs a Governor who doesn't want to make life difficult for the taxpayers and stup!dly control the good ppl with ridiculous rules and laws that mean absolutely NOTHING! They need a gov who wants to do something about the poverty and the violence and the streets
Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens not surprised you didn't mentioned these 2 mostly Cuban American cities they've had gang problems since 1990s and just as bad as anywhere in South Florida!
Only a handful of gangs. Very low homicide rate
I live in Hialeah gangs are virtually non existent
Raised in Carol City, florida, graduated from n. Miami. Have family in all areas, hollywood, davie, Ft. Lauderdale, weston, Hialeah, and i can go on. It pays to be vigilant and be smart about your comings and goings.....As inflation continues...so will the activity.
One thing is absolutely true...cross a bridge or a street and it's amazing what you see!
Maranatha 🙏
Miami used to have a really bad street gang problem in the 80s and 90s. Even in the early and mid 00s we had gang problems in the public school system in Dade and it got to a point where the inner city schools had to implement uniforms because of the gang colors. I don't know if it still does. A lot of urban Miami has been driven out the last 25 years.
Its al moved a little north now
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGSYup. Broward county has absorbed a lot of Miami's criminal element the last 3 decades or so.
South Florida in general has more neighborhood based drug or fraud crews than gangs. It’s just not our culture here
I'm from Miami and I agree
@@thedirtybubble9613yep basically, I stayed in carol city in eagle landing apts off 191st and 27th, took my ass to Port Saint Lucie and ain’t look back since, it’s been 3 years, ain’t nobody posted up at no Wawa, cumberland farms or 7-Eleven when I get off work, I’m talking middle of nights after 1 am
Born and raised in Ft. Lauderale for 35 years, I've never seen any gang related activity here or have I ever seen it hit the news. As far as South Florida goes, I would definitely stay away from Miami. People die in Miami everyday due to street violence
There may be gangs in Florida but citizens are permitted to protect themselves. Foreign persons who come to Florida from other countries and become violent, should be sent back to their home country.
Gas prices 2,49 in Rivera was it?

How’s Delray Beach area? It’s sandwiched amongst the areas you mentioned. TFS
Its a great area along the water but there are definitely gangs west of the divide. Some rappers came up outta there showing some crazy street scenes so, theres another world out there too.
I shared your video with some people and was asked where do you get your source from. Thank you.
South Florida in general is gangland and crimeville USA it’s a fact these days
This is very informative. Most people are not even aware of this. Having said that this problem is no where near what it is in California. Los Angeles alone is the gang capital of the world. The world not just the country. That is just the tip of the iceburg for Ca. Gangs throughout the central valley, Oakland and well just all over the dang place. I spend a lot of time in Tampa and the Tampa area and honestly I have not seen any evidence whatever of this. Over all a great video and again very informative. Keep up the good work.
You do know when you said pompano u were showing deerfield hoods right?
Keep reporting. What you're doing is helpful.
Thanks. But I think Florida still good compared to other places; our police don’t play, here.
heck when we first moved to lakeland there was 150 known gang memembers when moved from there in 2008 there was around 580 probly double now. the number one thing supporting the influx is the missions there they pay for bus fair from all over the country for felons to lakeland
