Today we will make sweet and sour lemon pickle.
sun for a day. Then add spices and keep it in the sun for 4 days. After 4 days sugar has to be added and mixed and kept in sunlight for 6 days. After completion of 10 days, the pickle has to be thickened on flame. Pickle made in this way does not spoil even for 10 years.
✍️ INGREDIENTS:
Lemon-1 kg
Sugar-700 gm
Salt-4 tbsp
Black Salt-2 tbsp
Carom Seeds-2 tsp
Roasted Cumin Powder-1 tsp
Black Pepper-1 tsp (crushed)
Cardamom and Cloves Powder-1/2 tsp

How long did you leave the lemon pieces before cooking them ? Did you just leave them on the kitchen counter top or in the fridge. Also can green limes be used as yellow are not available in our area. Thank you for your wonderful recipes I can’t follow Punjabi 100 pct so sorry I have to ask you too many questions.
