hello aunty, I tried making this pickle but something went wrong. Actually when I left the lemons mixed with salt in the jar they became mouldy after 3 days. I had taken care that the lemons and the jar are really dry. Is it necessary to use an airtight jar for this purpose? Kindly help.

I will make this today....nimbu is already softened..started it 20 days back...I hope it works for small quantities..don't risk with huge quantities. Mein 1 jam ki small bottle me daalungi so jaldi nipat jayega....
