level eater is banned because it can not once per turn revive itself just by reducing the level of a lvl5 higher monster. Wasn't that broken when it came out in the synchro era, but then the link nation attacked
4:14 the point of it would be to increase the damage dealt by a light monster such as the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Just completely ignore Honest's first effect.
10:51 level eater is so broken because first of all it is not once per turn second of all it's effect is that it targets a level 5 or higher monster decrease it's level by 1 and it can be special summoned again from the grave which is good for synchro summoning
