Very good assessment. I did notice the shift... It kept giving me grand theft auto vibes also. And I think it's a very swell place or a swell place to live on the license plate... Maybe we should investigate what swell means...
That had me confused at first! Because when I saw people holding touch screen phones at the end I was like wait ?! What era is the movie supposed to be in ? Lol
I got a theory... What if "the glen" wasn't necessarily a real place but instead a test place to experiment 🧪🥼 people and then if the experiment went well they then move out to bigger real cities such as LA and Detroit. 👀 What if almost everybody there at the glen was all clones and the girl yoyo was a metaphor name (she keeps coming back) (simulation was the theme for the movie) to see how the clones reacts to real people??why? if y'all noticed the beepers, the 70s 80s 90s early 00s styles & music in the glen? They are all clones from the past. Yoyo name is a metaphor as jamie said she keeps coming back. (simulation theme). Search the word the glen and it's definition is a narrow valley in the mountains
I guess we could say simulation, since we're not talking about glitches and the matrix... And the simulation is a way to test things out before we go into it in real life. So maybe the Glen like you said is just like the testing station, where people are in there doing whatever they're doing in some sort of a loop, And then upon it being deemed successful, they branch out to a different location. Because how do we account for other people that live in the town... For instance, when John boyega was shot, other people saw him shot, And then they just moved on like that wasn't a miracle of sorts... So maybe the entire town is real and keeping people on drugs, alcohol, on that chicken and grape soda might be The Thing that keeps them blind to the clones that are operating in their locale And I noticed there weren't a whole lot of older people in the town... I can't say for sure, but the alcoholic sitting outside the liquor store, may have been the oldest person in that town. And maybe that's why he could repeat what's going on and nobody was listening to him because he's always been there, and maybe he's drunk because of all the stuff he is seeing but nobody listens to him. I just kind of feel like the alcoholic was the only person that knew what was going on really.
Just finished it and loooooved it… every aspect - the acting, cinematography, direction, the character arcs, the detail in the storytelling, the production quality, the look and feel - *everything* was on point. Feel like I have to comment in order to recommend this one
So, was Fontaine actually selling drugs or was he selling the powder they found in the underground lab. Jamie mentioned that his last batch was like powdered sugar.
This movie was just different from the vibe to the sketchiness and the plot twist everything was perfect. All the actors played there part to perfection 10/10
Best movie of 2023 hands down. Jaime fox had me crying. Then the real knowledge they were focusing on mind control and behavior modification mind blown. Triggering but so spot on, especially after what just happened to J a ime
This movie was well written, the actors were great , a good soundtrack is everything. The feel that Jamie Fox character gave the movie was brilliant. You are in modern times, with a 70s feel. Great movie.
This movie was a masterpiece and I truly believe that they running experiments in certain areas Chicago, Detroit,Los Angeles change my prospective on life
Yup. They always give us a sneak peek of the ishh that’s really going down behind closed doors. Making these types of subjects into comedy films allows it to go over everyone heads though.
This movie was so fucking trippy and I loved it. I really hope this movie gets a sequel. The amount of possibilities that the ending brought is enough to justify it. ❤
Watching this movie I had emotions of laughter and get wrenching feelings from scenes that triggered me. Having the hustler, chicken store, liquor store, pimp and preacher to keep the “ peace or status quo “ in the black community. This video helped me see a different perspective because I thought about the eugenics movement. Eugenics movement came to the church with planned parenthood with Margret Sanger. Government put drugs in the community with War on drugs. Pimps pimp 🤷🏽♂️ 😂. Yo-Yo really was the driving force of the movie tho. Seeing Yo-Yo bedroom in her grandmothers house hit hard. She was a dreamer then fell victim to the streets but showed she was more than that.
The government pumping drugs into low income communities for their own agenda was 💯 % what I 1st thought about when watching this gem of a film 🎥 ...It added to the authenticity & the artistry of crossing decades too!!!.... Instant classic!!!
Kinda weird that this movie came out about the government or secret society cloned Tyrone, then the "health scare with Jamie Foxx and returned looking noticeably lighter
We have a modern day classic! Feels strange to say this doesn’t feel far off because of the world we live in right now. This came out at an impeccable time.

Exceptional project. Haven't seen anything shot in film forever. Great choice. I love all the characters, Everybody knew their assignments and committed 100%. Only tweak is I wish they had cast Shoniqua Shondai, who played in Harlem series. She's even more of a force.
When I watched it, I saw that we are all victims of the machine where no one has value unless the puppet master deems it necessary. The girl didn't have a clone so she was expendable. Culturally we are taught to bet on our own team, but the truth is such that we're all pawns politics aside.
What a surprisingly entertaining movie. I really wasn't expecting this much thought provoking entertainment. Now, I'm going to watch it with a clear head and no greenery.
That round and round track when they were trying to get out the club goes so hard!! 😭😭😭 Slick nearly didn't make it out I know I wouldn't have😅 it's just a movie but that beat really be hypnotizing, holy shit
Good movie for sure. Funny, good actors, awesome music and atmosphere. I'm wondering about the name of the movie - They Cloned Tyrone. You can say that the only Tyrone we see on the screen is a dude in the ending scene. But Fountaine's little brother's name is Ron. Which can be used as Tyrone too.
This movie will definitely make you feel that way! Stuff rang too true!! 😳😳 I remember that Popeyes chicken craze years back, and I thought at the time, "Something is wrong with this. I'm not going anywhere near that chicken"!!! People were breaking out into fights, lines to get it were ridiculous. It really just seemed like a chaos experiment, and we went for it. The programming is deep when you have to ask yourself, "Is this ME acting a fool, or is this my programming/social engineering"? 🤔
The ending was kinda shaky like you tell me all those people weren’t in state of shock after seeing clones or a underground laboratory and I also felt like the people agreeing to go underground should’ve had more pushback. It would take some major convincing for people to believe that it’s a laboratory underground making clones let alone actually going down there.
Your comment contradicts itself. You asked why weren't those people in a state of shock after seeing clones from an underground laboratory, but then say it would take some major convincing for people to believe that there's a laboratory underground making clones. You answered your own question. People aren't shocked upon first hearing the news of the cloning center underground, because they don't 100% believe it at first.

@@djbibsspecial it’s all in the movie in front of our face. Look at how we acted over the Popeyes chicken sandwich. Someone actually died over that sandwich when it came out . That’s just one example
He was the happiest with him. Any other time he looked stressed. Someone could be in ur life for 1 minute and make a huge impact. He fill many roles in my opinion for Fontaine.
You're spot on Kimmy b/c he genuinely laughed with the child showing a child's innate ability to bring that out of us. The only other time he laughed was in the restaurant when he was under the influence. The child's role was very significant. Since maybe the only other one that was not cloned besides Yoyo.
For those who dont know. John also played a clone in the sequal star wars films. He was introduced as a clone like the rest until he took off his helmet and realized how differenr he was and how he chnaged. I think thats why foxx had him play this character because hes already played a clone before
I just saw this film on Netflix without knowing anything about it or having seen a trailer. It was a complete surprise. I really liked it! Better than most films I've seen in the last few years. Especially, on Netflix, which is just saturated with cheesy romantic and generally superfluous films. Really well done, well acted, loved the grainy video quality and the conspiracy plot, just amazing. Great social commentary on today's conflictive US status. I highly recommend!
The last scene was about the transition or disease spread in the for of Gangsta Rap. Notice they always mention Memphis as the next move. The psychological herd moving of the new face of Gangsta And Slut Rap. It wrapped back around from the beginning on Gangsta Rap(the first brainwashed clone) Los Angeles. After LA Rap it came to the south ATL dominated New Orlean kic the door open. Chicago and Detroit but the move is Memphis style of Gangst Rao and Slut Culture. Yeah John Boyega can ACT!
He’d make a good John Stewart.
Just because he was good in this does not mean he needs to be in a superhero movie
John boyega is in no rush back to Disney after star wars
@@mylesyamada7633 he was in a superhero movie already...
So maybe the entire town is real and keeping people on drugs, alcohol, on that chicken and grape soda might be The Thing that keeps them blind to the clones that are operating in their locale
And I noticed there weren't a whole lot of older people in the town...
Great Analysis. At least I hope so. It would explain the hyper negative and narrow stereotypes only depicted in Glen.
I was wondering about the era because I noticed it was off a lil
Great way look at it
Thank you for the insight
Just finished it and loooooved it… every aspect - the acting, cinematography, direction, the character arcs, the detail in the storytelling, the production quality, the look and feel - *everything* was on point. Feel like I have to comment in order to recommend this one
It was the "got damn" chicken commercials for me!
So, was Fontaine actually selling drugs or was he selling the powder they found in the underground lab. Jamie mentioned that his last batch was like powdered sugar.
They prolly cuttin it powder and the white stuff. B/c whenJamie hit the pure powder he was giggling like a mo fo! I’m sure he would have noticed that!
It was in the chicken that’s why they be laughing in the restaurant
He was actually selling drugs. The white stuff was only to put in the chicken.

I had to watch it twice. I didn't appreciate how good it was during my first viewing. Very good movie.
It is a real good one!
I watched it again immediately after watching it for the first time. Mind blowing!
This movie was just different from the vibe to the sketchiness and the plot twist everything was perfect.
All the actors played there part to perfection 10/10
When netflix makes a actualy good movie
When did they?
Black mirror vibes
Netflix low key been producing good original movies
Best movie of 2023 hands down. Jaime fox had me crying. Then the real knowledge they were focusing on mind control and behavior modification mind blown. Triggering but so spot on, especially after what just happened to J a ime
It was a good surprise. Hooked me in from the start. Acting was good. Mysterious and funny.
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised with the depth and meaning to the story! John Boyega was top tier in this as well!
I knew immediately that I was watching an instant classic. A great, fun, funny and philosophical movie.
The industry don’t fw cat Williams but I woulda liked to see him put the pimp fit on one more time😂
This comment aged well!
Baby government housing isn’t called “the projects “ for nothing.
@@goldengirl7625the ‘comedy’ parts are just what makes movies entertainment. Everything is hidden in plain sight

The movie reminded me of a Gucci Mane lyric… “In every neighborhood there's a Gucci
The neighborhood dealer with an Uzi” especially the ending lol
Kinda weird that this movie came out about the government or secret society cloned Tyrone, then the "health scare with Jamie Foxx and returned looking noticeably lighter
I just noticed this cause everybody been saying jamie fox was a clone and mysteriously this movie releases with him in it
But I am glad he’s doing okay
@@alectricalexiahow do you know he’s okay.

A VERY wonderful and satisfying movie to watch in addition to Barbenheimer! Really enjoyed this!
Glad to hear that!
The message of this movie was so powerful damn, I almost cried
🤣🤣
share it please. ive read so many different, beautiful interpertations
It’s like a black mirror episode! 🤯🤯🤯😎😎😎👍👍👍
We have a modern day classic! Feels strange to say this doesn’t feel far off because of the world we live in right now. This came out at an impeccable time.
Definitely!
When they brought the whole hood with them to the underground was every black person favorite part “ believe that “
Loved it! Loved it! Brilliant movie, with the right element of mystery and humour. So many layers to peel back. I will have to watch it a few more times. It was that good! The cast was amazing to watch.. so much talent ! Brilliant performances all around. This movie will be talked about for decades to come! Perfect 10!
I watched this along with Oppenheimer and Barbie this past weekend and out of the three? They Cloned Tyrone was my favorite.
AMAZING Movie. The subliminal messages were brilliantly placed. If you look past it being just a “movie” and focus on the message…definitely in the category of top 10 best movies made. It ranks up there with “The Harder They Fall!” And the trailers were on point. The Music Supervisor did a great job!
Its a modern day version of the story of yakub
Indeed, but the white police officers killed his little brother not black people so why would older fontaine want to turn black people white
On yakub his father's side( black people ) killed his mother and that's why yakub wanted the whites to rule....
Big head scientist
Loved it! Did anybody pick up the references to Black Dynamite and Undercover Brother?
And Friday
“ it’s bigger than you , it’s bigger than me”
Now this is a CLONE movie, this was amazing I hope they make a part 2 to this 🥰
The white guys with the Afros were blacks already turned
They say everything got a twin lol I heard that all my life.. fuck a doppelgänger we might have a clone out there but with different personalities
I think Jon boyega could replace Jonathan majors as Kane the Conqueror, he definitely showed range in this movie
I agree that he is good enough but I think Jonathan Majors should keep his role. He is innocent
Maybe the son of the king t'challa
Boyega is a great actor Majors as well
@@Daniel-qn9rw John Boyega as Kang (or Iron Lad) but Damson Idris as son of King T'Challa.
Why would he need to replace Jonathan Majors?
I watched this movie twice! Like back to back. This movie reminded me of “They live”! Instant classic and should’ve been in the movie theaters
Question 🙋🏾♂️so are we about to get a sequel in LA because that would be dope!
It would be haha!
Highly unlikely because there's no where left for the story to go.
@@lukewright9031not true, we see it leads off with basically the start of a revolution, how it ends it confirms tjay clones and people that know the clones around the world exists. I really enjoyed it. The plot twists were excellent. The acting was top-notch. Mr.Foxx should, at least, be nominated for best supporting actor for his efforts.
So goood!!!...he sometimes looked like Denzel
Exceptional project. Haven't seen anything shot in film forever. Great choice. I love all the characters, Everybody knew their assignments and committed 100%. I fell in love with Bordega in 2020 when he was unapologetically showing and articulating his rage with the rest of us who are anti-racist.
They put the truth in the movies
I think the name Tyrone was a generic name for D boys just like the Glenn is just a stand in name for the Hood. Any Hood USA
Got 'Under the Silver Lake' vibes from this one, they both have similar themes in common. Great subversive film!
Am I the only one who couldnt believe that this was the same dude from the new Star Wars Trilogy? This dude can ACT! I mean damn!
That was him?! British people man! Great actors.
Who else is paranoid after watching this?
This movie will definitely make you feel that way! Stuff rang too true!! 😳😳
I remember that Popeyes chicken craze years back, and I thought at the time, "Something is wrong with this.
Crazy how the movie came out they really cloned Jamie
I'm simply impressed by the breakdown, despite the non-seasoned voice over. Spot on. Right on.
This high-key should have been under horror. The best movie I've seen in years
This movie was brilliant 👏
Just finished the movie and it was super good, 10/10.
Agree, it was a great movie!
Yo-yo KILLED her role! She was amazing! Very beautiful, sexy and talented actress!!! ❤❤❤
Isaac shot n killed taine obviously if he wants to shot again it’s not hard to know something is going on
My sister and I SCREAMED at the ending of the movie like "If that's tyrone than WTF IS THE GUYS NAME WE'VE BEEN WATCHING THIS WHOLE TIME?!?!" 😭 Gotta pay attention watching this.. I still genuinely don't know what time they are living in..I saw b2k poster but got a 70's vibe but they used lingo from today..
That was intentional. The clones were all replicated from different decades. Thats why you can't tell the time period
What a dope movie man. Really didn’t expect it to be that enjoyable
Yeah it was solid!
It's about how the government places certain thing in the black community
Your ending commentary was on point

The main movie was Atlanta. The scenes after the end were showing that the same thing was going on in Los Angeles.
That little boy that was with Fontaine was the Biggest Star & character in my opinion. He filled so many roles. That was deep to me.
He was only in the movie for 5 minutes what you talking about
He was the happiest with him.

John Bodega is now one of my new faves. Parris and Foxx were also amazing!

P.S. I'm a huge John Boyega fan (Moses forever) and this is one of his best films to date with multiple complexities. Well done!
Giving the same dish or program with a different season.
