Dude! Never spray a car with a hose, especially with a sprayer on it. Use a hose without a sprayer with the water coming out looking like a limp....you know what. Use a microfiber towel, no sponges, and scoot the dirt down off it then a microfiber or really soft bath towel to dry it. Foam should be applied so it falls down on not directly at the car. If you spray water directly on it at high pressure, you can lift the paint off especially around the edges of chips. Car paint is softer and thiner than most people realize.

Werner Danler You’re paranoid!! I wash my 2001 C5 the same damn way, no paint has flown off it yet!! And it’s 19 year old paint, and still perfect!!!
