Everyone needs to chill about the brush.. the bike had 15k miles on the ODO and came looking like that. Owner is my buddy and was very happy I washed it... That said.. all future comments about washing the bike with brush will be deleted. Otherwise, thank you for commenting! 👍

@@WhyHaveLimits no. Any detailer worth their weight in soap will tell you they don't touch stuff like this with a brush. I started cringing when he started dumping water all over it, we dry clean our bikes..

I've had this bike for a month and aaaaabsolutely love it. Incredibly fun, every gear feels good, I never feel like it needs more power.

Can you adjust your clutch? Is it really tight like Petrohead said?
@@chalkdemon8019 don't think you can adjust the amount of pressure needed to pull the lever. It's a little tight compared to other bikes, but it's not bad at all.
My buddy and I swap bikes from time to time (he has a Honda CBR650R) and he can transition to it without issues. He says that you can the tell the bike is performance driven. Everything is tight, snug, harsh, etc.
I love this bike.
The ZX6r is my dream bike. I really appreciate someone owning a ducati appreciating just good bikes

@@omegapsi847 different for everyone, I ride my friends R6 rn while I’m saving for my own bike and I’ll be good until like the 2, 2 and a half hour mark without discomfort but he can go for like 6 hours. I’m 5,9 280 pounds and he’s 6,3 195ish

I own a 2009 ZX-6R and 2017 Z900. Kawasaki has always made ultra smooth engines. Even being 10 years old, my ZX-6R holds a very good line and the ultra smooth engine adds to the experience of carving the canyon roads.
I have a z900 and want a zx6r 636 eventually. How do you compare the two?

I have that same exact bike with the Yoshi! My favorite bike ever….used to have CBR 600RR and it felt like a tank in comparison. Great video!

Don't use a pressure wash to clean the bike, it's not good for the paint work and it sprays the lubricants off your chain and bearings. Only wash your bike by hand with a microfiber glove or something. And a bike is so small it takes like 15 minutes.

I had it for 7 days, I rode it 400-500 miles, washed it, cleaned lubed chain.. parked it in my house.. did a bunch of cool videos.. it was an ownership experience..

I just tested the zx6r KRT color yesterday at a Kawasaki Good Times demo day. Sweet engine. Coming from ninja 400 i felt the ride position was super aggressive. I would be interested to compare to a Panigale v2/959
Panigale bikes are the most aggressive sport bikes.. this is because they are first and foremost.. race bikes.. ZX6R is a baby compared to it.. I can ride it all day lol
Just curious, why do zx6r make like a supercharge wind up sound when reving or take off? (Been looking at exhaust sounds and all of them have this distinct sound)

@@VitoGambino704 Couldn't agree more there. I got the M4 Tech 1 Carbon Exhaust and goodness gracious I have never loved a sound more than that. The Austin Racing sound is a close second though!

The RS660 doesn't compete against other 600cc bikes. It puts out 100ish hp and even being lighter it still has a lower power to weight ratio to all the other 600 bikes.
@@diamondheat9 My F900R is 465lbs wet with 100hp... It is very exciting to ride. The RS660 will weigh less than 400 wet and 100hp... with all the electronic aids and quick up/down shifter.. it should be seriously quick! yes, its less power but as I've been learning with the Kawi 636 lately... big power is overrated on the street.
Biggest problem with rs660 is the suspension and the price. I want a bike that I can track with. If I spend additional 2500 - 3000 on suspension upgrade then it could easily be 14000/14500 for a 650 grade street bike. Plus I don’t need that much electronic for a sub-100hp bike.

the zx6 has a slipper/assist clutch so should be easier than other clutches!!

That’s difficult to answer.. but I rode it 400 miles in one week and it didn’t bother me much. It all depends on you..
The clutch on my 2016 636 is not hard at all. If anything I’d prefer it a little stiffer.
Yea after a week it’s not so bad.. I did mention that I’d come back on it.
Thought tat was a strange comment too. But then I haven’t ridden his bikes.

One of my favorite bikes I owned was a Ninja 300. It was a lot of fun to go through the gears around the city. Small bikes for city riding are a blast. I miss that little guy
Idk why people are upset about a brush if it works for a car then it will work on the bike and cry me a river about micro scratches especially when I’ve never had issues with that and it’s not like all of your bikes are 100% scratch free.

To any viewers dont wash your bike like this... Power washers get water in places that it normally wouldnt get to, those brushes scratch paint too. Other than that nice bike I'm between this and a RS660

@@xuhan4682 Actually, that's not correct at all... the 2020 R6 is 117hp and 636 is 127 so its only a 10hp difference. However, the R6 is 10lbs lighter so all-in-all there really isn't a big noticeable difference.

PetroHead i recommend San Antonio/Austin area. Don’t come to Houston. There’s no hills or canyons around here and difficult to find good fun routes.

It’s roughly 10 mph per 1000 revs. Equates to a possible 160 mph if you’re that way inclined.
