    Considering all the shovel-ware on Steam, its clear that it tends to be pretty lax with what gets to stick on the platform.

    I've never submitted a game to steam. But I do know when you register for a rating with the esrb you basically self report. I would guess this is similar. It's really a dice roll whether you get someone chill with it or someone who is horrified and bans. Of course if you're AAA company anything goes.

    so it's a parody of Back to the Future and Rick and Morty? isn't Rick and Morty itself a parody of Back to the Future? at least the cartoon? also why does Steam ban some games and not others? what exactly is allowed and what isn't?

    • @SexPositiveGaming
      @SexPositiveGaming  Год назад +1

      Yes Rick and Morty totally pays homage to Back to the Future, but, surprisingly, not everyone knows that so I chose to be a little redundant.
      Steam only really unilaterally bans for one thing. I talk about the specifics of the second ban in the video, but the problem is that Steam never says exactly why. This makes it very difficult to talk about openly. Like I did a whole video for some of my Patrons detailing exactly what each platform (Patreon, Itch, Steam, etc...) does and does not allow, but there is no way that RUclips would allow that level of detail on the topics that I discuss. So here I am (once again) dancing around shit in order to cover a game on RUclips. Sorry!
