Should I join any non-athletic extra-curricular activities while in college? Did you find you had the opportunity and time for them? Did you join any extra-curricular activities? Also, please do a day in the life video specifically aimed at college! Don't be afraid to make it kind of long.

My mom want me to major in something that will directly lead to a job after college (i.e. accounting or engineering) but i want to major in political science. She and some other members of my family have said that a degree in poli sci is useless, and they won't listen when I say it can prepare me for a wide variety of jobs after college. How can I convince them that majoring in poli sci is not a waste of time so they stop bothering me about it?
