Is this the 2WD Murano you are doing this on? I have the AWD and the transfer case is right above the sensor and obstructs where you had the wrench. I haven’t been able to figure out how to get in there without removing tons of parts.
That is an O2 sensor socket kit I borrowed from my local auto parts store. They have a free tool loan program and most auto parts stores offer this tool for loan. You can buy the kit for a reasonable price but much simpler to borrow and return if you are not going to use the tool a lot.
This is the Bank 2 sensor downstream of your catalytic converter. First check sensor wires and make sure they are OK. After that, if it were me, I would replace sensor and see if the code persists. If it does then it's the catalytic converter. Replace that next. If the code does not return after replacing the o2 sensor then the expensive catalytic converter does not need to be replaced. Just my two cents and not professional advice.
So bank 1 sensor 2 is on the passenger side dowstream from the catalytic converter, correct? and bank 2 would be on the drivers side?
Correct!

Yes, it's a 2wd. The AWD is a horse of a different color. Desirable to own, no so desirable to work on.
@@getdirtywithvern gotcha. Thanks
What wrench and bit/socket setup is that?

Here is a video where I replace that sensor on the 2015 Murano.
