Arriving Nov 11 for 12 days, trip #11. If you're staying in Hokkaido/northern or Okinawa/southern Japan there are exceptions to preferred months to visit ... but as most are travelling to central Japan, November is in my experience THE best month for comfortable temperatures and the Autumn 🍁 colours. These days, I do 2 trips per year, April Sakura 🌸 and November Koyo 🍁 If you can only visit in any particular month, best to visit Japan when you can than not visit at all. BUT, if you can visit anytime, summer is unbearable 🥵 and winter is so cold 🥶 so consider those conditions. November imo is the best option between April 🌸 and November 🍁 because Nov's weather is more stable and the 🍁 Koyo colours are a looooong extended period, where as the Sakura 🌸 period (most likely in the 1st week of April-ish) lasts only a week on avg and hard to predict/catch. Tip: November is prime Koyo 🍁 month so plan a side-trip stay/day-trip/s outside of the cities to enjoy a real Koyo experience 🍁 ... rather than walking past one tree in the city 😅 Enjoy your Japan travels 🤗
November is still too hot for onsen in Japan, unless you go to Hokkaido. Im still wearing short sleeve or maybe 1 long sleeve during the afternoon. Go in December, January or February.
Are the temperatures of late November and early December similar to what you described in the video, or do they suddenly get much colder? We're planning to go to Takayama, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo. From what I can find, Takayama is quite a bit colder, is that correct? Also, do you think it's important to bring warm shoes during this time, or would comfortable walking shoes still be suitable in early December? Thank you!
Following. Would like to know as well. Will be in Kanazawa-Shirakawago-Takayama in a couple of weeks. I was going to bring these Hoka hiking shoes for Takayama just in case.
I'm wearing extra warm at the moment in Tokyo, but I'm also a wuss from Australia who hasn't ever dealt with the cold. So long as you have either standard or extra warm heattech under your clothes and a puffy coat over your clothes, I think you will be okay. Definitely recommend getting good socks, gloves, beanie, and scarf if you are cold sensitive like me 😊
Lord willing I'm going end of November to middle of December 2024. I already messaged you Kota and your team on your website and Whatsapp. Waiting for a response.
Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever in life. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?

Is Kurama Onsen now open? I checked their website & it said they open on November 1. But when I was looking for ways to reserve, I can’t find it :(
