    Class video, good detail and well explained. Was looking for manifold removal guide due to P2015 error (A6 TDI 2010), which u referenced. You mentioned the bracket to fix can be put in place without manifold removal? Due to limited space between engine and flap motor , can't back out torx screw to fit. Would need to modify the supplied mounting plate, and then only using again special modified tools to fit small space to back out torx screw enough to latch . Do you have an alternative method?

      @@johnny6969 Hey John, not only a great video but prompt reply also Thanks! As I'm reading the subtitles starting at 5:28s the reference to not removing the manifold and the bracket fix for Flap motor is discussed.

      @@donn235 so it seems like im just talking about the lever and the bracket. There are repair kits you can buy to solve this problem and it is possible to do that job without removing the manifold itself but I'd does require to remove some parts around that area just to get better access. I bet that someone made video on how to do it. Try looking for "manifold flap actuator fix". Good luck with fixing your problem!

    Hello ive a audi a6 2.7 diesel front wheel drive , europen version . Someone gifted me and i did all the filters and oil change , it has a check engine for air intake manifold + in computer there are some code for injector 2 3 5 , in highway for 130km it consume 8.6 lit , ive test it . But in the city for 20 km it consume 10 lit . Is this normal ? Does it has to do with intake manifold ? Many services here in albania told me dont do something to injectors becouse im gonna have more problems . What do you recommend me to do ?

    • @johnny6969
      @johnny6969  3 года назад +1

      Maybe if your intake is very dirty there may be not enough airflow into cylinders which could cause bad fuel economy. But if you have some injector trouble codes thats different story i think. Best thing would be to get the injectors out and test them in fuel injector specialist garage. Or try to ad some injector cleaner to your fuel tank and drive the car a lot. But I recommend cleaning the intake as well, different to what im doing on the 2.0TDI but maybe there is tutorial for 2.7 as well.

    Hi, can you tell me if it is possible to switch off (delete) EGR only and leave DPF on car? Do you still have DPF on or is it deleted as well? Thanks

    • @johnny6969
      @johnny6969  2 года назад +1

      Yes you can switch it off but you have to do it by special diagnostic tool like VCDS or get your car chip tuned and ask for EGR off. This car on the video is all stock with egr ON.

      @@johnny6969 I have identical Audi as yours and you mentioned in video that your egr valvle is off. What about dpf? Is it removed too? As today mechanic programmed my egf off but he left dpf on as its in mint cindition? Any chance you know is it good? As I read on the internet that it can affect dpf performance over time?

    • @johnny6969
      @johnny6969  Год назад

      The dpf can be checked for the soot content so the more of it the more blocked it is and it will need regeneration or cleaning. Popular method of dpf solution is drilling through the inside part of the dpf to make few large channels through it to stop the dpf from clogging. Then the dpf can be "turned off" by reprogramming the ecu. Speaking of egr it is very good for the engine auxiliaries to turn the egr off. It prevents your intake manifold to be blocked by carbon build up. I did all these things to the cars I had and my car never failed any tests at the diagnostic stations. In diesel cars I always turn off EGR, DPF and Intake manifold flaps if the car is equipped with them. This combined with cleaning all the existing carbon build up makes the car much more fuel efficient, brings back factory power and makes the car more reliable.

    Witam @, u mnie w audi a6 c6 2.0 tdi wywala błąd klap kolektora, w jednym warsztacie chciał zdjąć kolektor i wysłać do czyszczenia w drugim chciał wgrać nowe mapy, koszt pierwszego ok 400 a drugiego 200_250 funtów, myślałem żeby może zdjąć kolektor i postępować jak ty na filmiku, co byś doradził?

    • @johnny6969
      @johnny6969  Год назад

      No to się tak mowi że "mapą" wyłączają te różne funkcje, jak egr czy klapy. Chodzi o to że to jest pewnie podobny komputer do chip tuningu. Możesz przy okazji podnieść troche moc jeśli się też tym zajmują.

      Ale jak nie zrobię to coś się stanie?

    • @johnny6969
      @johnny6969  Год назад

      Nie nic się nie stanie. Możesz po prostu wyczyścić wszystko tak jak na filmiku. Tylko że ten syf sie będzie zbierać caly czas. Wyłączenie egra zmniejsza zabrudzenia a wyłączenie klap w dolocie zmniejsza ryzyko ich usterki. Ale tak ogólnie to nie trzeba robić mapy.
