I'm a Dodgers fan. But whenever I'm in town, I visit Coors Field to attend a Rockies game. They have one of the best stadiums. They also have extremely loyal and dedicated fans. They love their Rockies through hard times, lots and lots of hard times. I wish the Rockies the best. I was there in 1993. I returned again other times like when the All-Star Game came to town. I was there during the 2007 run. I came other times. Hopefully, someday the Rockies make it to the top. And go Broncos! My favorite football team!

This shouldn't have made me feel the way it did. It was so well done, and it made me feel the shared pride as a lifelong Rockies fan to have been able to share in the memories of the team's history- just as so many members of the Rockies community that have also loved the team as much as I have, on the heels of all those who did so much to make the team a reality. What a triumph for all the special moments that have followed, and to have been able to share in them. But seeing the more recent clips of Blackmon, Cargo, Arenado was so bittersweet, knowing the state of the franchise and how the team's leadership squandered what should have been the next step forward, and instead has put the team so far backwards. Monfort talking about how he just kind of lucked into owning the Rockies, while it's his stranglehold on control being the biggest barrier to the fanbase sharing in successes that never transpired if things were run differently. There is so much optimism throughout this documentary in major league baseball coming to Denver, and so much unrealized hope. All I can relate it to is the feeling of heartbreak, growing feelings for a person and developing hopes for the future, and then when the relationship has fallen apart (thanks Bridich) you're unsure how to feel about all the memories you had with them because you were hoping for more. The Rockies community deserves so much more.

I couldn't have said it any better. The Rockies were my passion. But watching Monfort drive our stars away and not grow with baseball hurts deeply. I loved these guys! I will always root for these guys but sadly not as my team. My childhood Red Sox will always be my team. It's bittersweet that Trevor Story is now a Red Sox. He should have wore Rockies purple his whole career....

the issue with this organization is that no pitchers can succeed at that altitude. pitches have less movement, less break and balls carry way further. so it will always be extremely difficult to field a winning product at Coors Field.

Can't recall how many games I went to....... But 3 standout. The night Jeff Cirillo hit 3 homers and hit the top of the centerfield fence for a ground rule double almost hitting 4 out. Pedro Martinez playing for the Dodgers at the time, taking a no hitter into the 8th inning before Helton got a hit off him to break up the no-no. And almost getting hit by a Mike Lowell homerun. I heard the crack of the bat, was tracking the ball then lost it. Ball hit the seat right next to me putting a huge dent in it. The first game at Coors when Bichette hit the homer to win the game. Burks taking Eckersley deep to, I can't recall, either tie the game or win it for Colorado. Blake Street Bombers were fun to watch. If only Colorado had the pitching to go along with it.... Top 5 as a club hitting the ball, almost dead to last a as club pitching. Don Baylor was our best manager as far as I'm concerned. It all started to fall about after the Blake Street Bombers were all traded. Then Walker was traded, EY traded, Holliday traded, Gonzales traded, Story allowed to become a FA, and the trade of Arenado for who? who? & who? It won't get better till the club is sold to different owners.

While I applaud their recent winning after an 8-28 start the fact is this team will have to win in spite of the Monforts' best efforts to make the Rockies as relevant as the Yellow Pages anymore. They're already hampered by Coors; can't hit on the road or pitch effectively anywhere for very long. They'll win 2-1 then 5-3 then lose 19-0 to the same team (good or bad) anytime and anywhere.

Coors Field is a beautiful ballpark maybe the best I've been to Petco Park twice and that's a gem. But people will always go to Coors Field the weather here is great in the summertime and you always get good crowds on the weekends sometimes on weekday nights. I have a partial season ticket plan with the Rockies and I will always support them and maybe one day we will win the World Series. I think we just need a GM who thinks a bit outside the box focus on bullpen draft better keep the lineup Mc Mahon and Tovar are studs.

Its a pretty bad time to release something like this. I mean, we have zero faith in you. Youve traded away all of our talent for higher bidder. So are we a team like the athletics, or are we a team with legit stars that are built by us? You trade the best players away and the best no longer want to stay in this day and age. And the stars come to die because the culture is so backwards now.
Did Tullwitzki not make enough money behind the scenes for you? I really doubt that. You were simply breaking even with a player like him, but YOU WANT PROFIT. and I then you expect us to still bleed purple and black even after you get rid of our stars.
I miss our old management when we were a team hot on the ass of the braves and playing them in the playoffs. I miss the miracle team we had in 07. I miss the old Rockies.
