Such a sweet little family! Love watching you guys interact! Your info. along the way is super helpful because it is specific to Shades of Green. Glad you had a Happy Father’s Day!
Thank you so much, Joy! That is so sweet and we LOVE that we can provide information for other military families and supporters as well! It was a great Fathers Day for sure!
Thanks for the great video. It made me feel like I was enjoying a day at Disney instead of doing my Sunday night chores at home . Happy Belated Father's Day!
You're very welcome! I'd say give it a try if you like BBQ and have some space in your budget for a splurgy meal. And don't eat breakfast LOL There's SO much food!
@@billieglennbusch2189 Definitely a splurge...I cannot imagine a bill for a larger family. It was fun to experience but certainly something we won't do often. Glad to share and help others decide if its right for them :)
Ok, ive come across like 6 or more of these videos now....subscribed! We are heading back down in December to SoG and have not stayed there in 20years.
Welcome!!! Thanks for watching! I think you’ll be in for a real treat and it will likely be much different than your last visit 😊 Hopefully you’ll get to see the lobby all “dolled up” for the holidays too. It’s beautiful!
Tim had a blast...he really enjoyed it! Story was done after about an hour because she was hot lol Just prepare for that and bring your own hand held fan and cold neck towels maybe...But it was overall a neat experience. I actually called to book that in May so just a couple months prior. I thought for sure with it being fathers day weekend they'd be full but we found a spot on the day after fathers day (the 19th). If I were planning it again I'd probably call earlier to get a better selection of days/time slots. You can also do this same experience from different marinas on different lakes on property as well.
We actually talked about how we should have packed our reusable storage containers lol I was going to suggest it on this video but then didn’t in case it’s not allowed. I figured we would try ourselves first before throwing that idea out to everyone 😂 If you do it though please report back and let us know how that went! I’m genuinely curious!
So they will allow you take the food, it’s just because they don’t have to go containers is that what the server said? Bc honestly I have always wondered if you could
@@jamsmit1249 we were debating on whether we could take what was left on our table so we asked the server directly and she said no unfortunately, we don’t even have containers (but then whispered to us “you could wrap it up in a napkin”) So I think the general rule at any “all-you-can-eat” restaurant is no because it would be hard to limit how much people are allowed to walk away with? Like I couldn’t ask for a whole second round of food and then pack it all away in my containers….but historically, Disney has a hard time saying no to guests so I wonder if you just had one personal container and took what was left on your table from your original meal if they would be ok with that. I’m not entirely sure but I will bring mine and ask specifically for clarification at our next family style dining experience!
Under normal circumstances yes BUT they are closed for refurbishment at the moment and we don’t know what time frame they have on reopening them. I have heard from others that some have used third party laundry services so that’s an option too. It’s understandably an inconvenience having them closed but they were having issues with the machines accepting credit/debit cards so it will be really nice when they’re back up and running and work properly! For now I’d just pack extra underwear 😆
@@battlegroundbiscuits I saw on one video said not eating of drinking on bus but can you bring like a metal cup with a drink onto the bus etc? I love having my drink already full going into the park

I'm about to tattoo it on this guys arm LOL

Jamie, not chores on a Sunday! Boo! Lol I'm glad we could bring a little magic to you ;) Thanks for hanging with us!
Thank for sharing your round up rodeo experience! Definitely was debating if we wanted to do it on our upcoming trip.
Everyday is Father’s Day!
Great Job 😊

Thank you for sharing the price of meals! It sure helps for planning our budget!
I'm going to make an effort to do this more often because I totally get it! I love knowing up front what to expect so we can plan for it.
My favorite part of Soaring is the elephant scene too-I'd pay decent money to find an air freshener with that smell
You know…I bet there’s a candle company out there somewhere that makes something similar. 🧐
@@battlegroundbiscuits I've looked but none that had good reviews sadly. Seems a missed merch opportunity for Disney but that is par for the course.

Excited to see the fishing excursion! My husband has talked about doing that every trip and we still haven’t. Did you have to book way in advance?

Good to know. Thank you for the info! I am definitely looking into this.
I'm from Arizona, and I'm going to start saying the sun is being a jerk 😂😂
LOL its fitting, right?! 😂
@@battlegroundbiscuits definitely!
Bet could take some reusable ziploc bag into the park just in those cases to pack up leftover food at the buffets.
