Thankyou so much! I just started my youtube channel and posted a few videos that did well on FB. I didn't put thumbnails and didn't know how to do it. Once I watched your video, I noticed I did get more clicks on my videos. I then made thumbnails for all 7 of my videos! I realize now I need to make them brighter so going forth I will! Thanks - this is great. I struggle with RUclips videos sometimes. It takes so long for the topic to actually start. (51 seconds in this case), then there is so much enthusiasm and energy that it it tough to follow. I'm a boomer though, I'm not knocking. Just pointing a finger at my own challenges. My son has been doing my editing and thumbnails while I work on learning content creation, but I’ve been trying to at least pick up basics as I go and as I have time. I love Phonto, so I’m definitely going to give it a try on my phone! I also use Canva. Thanks for a great tutorial!
iMovie is great because 1. It’s free but 2. They updated it and you get a lot of functions out of it. Like you use green screens, add pictures in your video or it has some good transitions! 😊🙌

Heather, and company You guys probably is the best ever that i have seen of explaining step by step instructions of how to do what ever the content may be. UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME!!! SERIOUSLY... PROPS to all you guys. Communication of detailing Step by step is very very important for all non-techy type people. Cause, i really don't understand why others can't do similar type of Tutorials that you guys do. I really think either they don't know how to actually explain it thoughroly or they are doing it on purpose so people will have to keep buying courses after courses. Because, its all about money. But, genuinely you guys do it not just for money but, you guys really really have the heart to actually want people to learn as quick as possible and not trying to liquadate peoples hard working savings. I use an app called Typorama to add my text. I love the idea of using up to 3 words on the thumbnail, I have to implement that more 👍🏼

Meaning it's too much footage? You may need a faster computer or laptop to actually edit all of it.

My software for editing is final cut pro and for thumbnails I use Canva.com
