I use thread lock, tighten screws to spec +2 (ex. 15lbs of torque +2 = 17 lbs of torque ) and put witness marks on the screws so I can visually see if they are backing out.

Lol you parrots are so funny, I got the TLR-7 derp derp, such a goofy awkward light, the O light Baldr mini with a laser have only light on or laser on or both and it fits flush and can even move it in behind the barrel. Bo go ahead and be a follower and have that massive goofy light that is round doesn't match up hangs wayy over on a sub compact pistol, all you guys copy a couple RUclipsrs and don't even do any looking on YOUR OWN! Now you have a full size 6 pound 10 inch long pistol that says Macro in the name LOL

I can't wait until I get the holes ported in my gold match grade barrel, I barely fit the barrel in there like it was made for a barrel to go a tad further, my gold barrel ends at that piece of metal that splits the holes in the slide, I noticed side by side with the stock barrel it wasn't qwite as toned down but it will when I port the holes in the barrel so you'll be able to look through and see a gold ported barrel through the slot closest to the shooter, the True Match barrels are such AMAZING shooting barrels it's not even funny!!! I added almost a half an inch to the small 3.1 inch barrel so I picked up a tad bit more speed. I have a chrono and Im curious to know the difference! I know there's a measurement where it just drops off, like the .556 AR pistols 10-11 inches is the shortest you want to go and you're still losing a LOT of speed from a 16" barrel!! When you have an 8" barrel in the .556 you'll want to use heavier rounds and tighter rifling to stabilize those rounds. Its losing 400 FPS from 16 inch to 10.5 inch barrel but it drops off dramatically to 820 feet per second at 8 inch from 16 inch barrel in .556! The testing I've done a 5 and 6 inch barrel does the best in these pistol calibers. When you get down to 3 inches you gotta think that bullet is sitting in the breach and that is included in the length of the barrel so 3.1 inch barrel a 9mm when shot is only traveling....hold on going to get the tape I have the stock barrel here, the round is only traveling EXACTLY AND ONLY 2 FRIGGIN INCHES THAT'S ALL YOUR BULLET IS TRAVELING DOWN A 3.1 INCH BARREL. A 9mm NATO FMJ IS EXACTLY 1.1 INCHES IN LENGTH! THAT'S NOT MUCH AT ALL! That is why I added almost a half inch to this X Macro because I wanted better accuracy and more speed out of that 9mm!

I had great difficulty using the included skinny screws that came with my 507K. In fact, one of the holes just would not accept it, so I was forced to use the screw that I took off a RomeoZero, and now I think the head is stripped. The torque wrench was set to 15 in lbs, per the manual, but couldn’t get the screw in halfway with it before clicked. So I had to use a screwdriver with allen head. Disappointing! The other hole also would not accept the screw using the torque wrench, so I again had to use a screwdriver with T10 bit. With a lot of struggle, I finally got it screwed all the way in, but again could not use the torque wrench to guarantee 15 in lbs. Very disappointed in Sig for this quality control issue with such an expensive firearm.
