I used to wheel that area with my Scout about 30 years ago. Always stopped at the Lube Room for the last draft beer and flush toilet. Still driving the Scout.
@@leeroyadams666 thank you so much 👍 glad you enjoy the videos... And thanks for subscribing 👍👍 new stuff coming soon.... And yes hopefully one day soon we can meet up on a trail 👍 thanks again. Have a good day 🔥💯
Its not advised to chop wood on granite rocks/slabs-->axe goes thru wood, hits the granite and gets DAMAGED! Big no no.... Swinging of sxe should be going from the shoulder, not the elbows... Lol Very nice trail, looks like,,, wanna go there sometime 🙂
Have to admit, I'm a bit conflicted. I have some attraction to this sport; I think it's largely due to getting into beautiful remote areas (I'm into photography), but at the same time, I'm not sure I really relate to the actual rock-crawling. I can't seem to appreciate the "fun" of driving over very rugged terrain at a snails' pace with the very real possibility of damage to my vehicle. It must be the feeling of accomplishment after successfully maneuvering up and over serious obstacles and coming through on the other side. Not sure it's a sport that I would fully appreciate and it's certainly not an activity that is geared towards everyone. Respect to those who have fitted their rigs for this endeavor and have learned and acquired the skill to practice this successfully. I tip my hat to you.
You mean the greatest state in the country? Why is it one of the top economies, larger and better than literal counties. Best state in America and best place to live in the world.

Yooo my neck of the woods. I'm from murph turph.
Is this trail doable with a stock 2004 SR5 4th gen 4 Runner? Guessing not from the looks of it, at least not all of it.
You can probably do it stock a lil spoting to.. it's not a very long trail just a few miles long but fun
Gotta love Hwy 4 !!!!!
As a local I plead you to please keep it clean. Respect the land and don’t bring anyone who want to leave their mark on things.
Don't worry local we don't leave a trace .👍

Going this summer if the snow melts lol 👍
How is the snow in that area as of now?
@@alwaysoverlanding here in Arnold the snow is gone.
I did that water crossing on 4.29.23. It's now just under 3ft high. almost covered my 35' tires. 😀 great fun.
How far up the trail did you camp??
Not very far in I think that area is the 1st camping area to the left down the trail about 10 15 min I think
I can show you guys how to split firewood.
Lol I know... You might be able to teach Jake and Joey tho... They are the ones trying hahaha I'm laughing at them 😂 👍

California has preserved more land for public recreational use than most states.
